CoCoCo Home-Atlanta is an interesting place. I didn't even know it existed, frankly, until my parents came to town to visit.
They're in the market for a new couch, or rather, new upholstery for the current couch, so driving in through Buckhead, my dad spied this place, my mom wrote down the name, and I ferried them back there while we hung out.
It's a cool space and absolutely perfect for the upscale area that Buckhead is: situated right next to the big Whole Foods, the Seasons 52 and the Buckhead Theater.
CoCoCo specializes in couches, but not run-of-the-mill couches: handmade couches with custom fabric, designs, the whole nine yards. We didn't know all this walking in: my mom just wanted to see if she could buy fabric from them and take it home to haver the current couch re-upholstered. She couldn't. Bummer.
But while we ascertaining this, I sat on some very comfy, very expensive couches, got to know the friendly store dog and was generally impressed by the wide variety of couch cover offerings and all the different styles of couches.
If you've got cash to spend, and you need a new, custom couch to fit your needs, this is the place to go. Hopefully there's enough Atlantans that consistently fit that bill. read more
