Perfect Piece is the most professional estate sale company around Atlanta. They always have an eclectic mix of high end items. I am a frequent customer/buyer. I check for their sales on EstateSales.net. I go to a lot of estate sales as a customer but I would also chose them to run my sale if I had one. Lisa does a great job running the sales. The prices are fair and I think she does a great job for the sellers while still having some bargains for buyers. Lastly, the warehouse sale they run once a month is always interesting and fun. We attended a sale in the Country Club of the South last weekend hosted by The Perfect Piece. Let me start by saying that there was a holdup at the gate, however we were glad that we waited as it was worth it!! At the house everything was so tastefully laid out, it looked like a showroom!! We got several pieces of Christmas decorations, (tis the season) as well as clothing. The furniture even though it was staged to look really good was not our style. The ladies of the Perfect Piece were very professional and wonderful with suggestions as to mixing and matching pieces...we bought much more than we intended!! My daughter and I went to their Buford location on the recommendation of a friend. What a fun place because you never know what you are going to find. They are only open one weekend a month but the prices are great and they have some wonderful items. We bought a nightstand for my daughter's place at college. We got an unbelievable price and she then painted and distressed it. The people working there were very nice and extremely helpful. I look forward to going back soon. We've been going to estate sales almost weekly for over a decade - we go for fun and i am a re-seller. My sister recommended The Perfect Piece as one company that has realistic prices and the staff are friendly. Both are so true. The PP stands out to us every time. The homes are usually higher end, staged well, very organized, prices are never above retail some some, they are well researched and priced to move, plus the women are always personable. I am not sure why we get a weird vibe at some other sales. But truly some estate sales are creepy. Never with The PP. I was at the CCOS sale two days, where these customers above were irate. I think the way thevPP handled the negative attitudes and feedback was very professional. They made a mistake and they demonstrated humility and professionalism. This is consistent with how we've seen them at numerous sales. This past week in Suwanee, it was a crazy sale packed with people. The couple infront of us bought $4200 worth off stuff. It was a high end, all items like new sale. The PP handled wall to wall people VERY well. One woman who I've seen at a lot of their sales was particularly relaxed and helpful with unmarked item we were interested in. Her name was Jacqueline. She was pleasant in the chaos. Wow took this lady 7 months months to respond to my complaint I'm sure all you people out there can be a judge for yourself. Everything she posted was a lie I was never contacted I assume she was selling furniture and never sent me any money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else do not use this company. This lady is a complete scam artist I filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs she's not even listed with the Better Business Bureau I can see why. It says if someone steals from you let them have it and give your coat if needed. I hope you enjoy all my hard on furniture you should do the right thing and pay me. read more

Don't believe their photos and don't trust their instructions. Three of us just showed up at an estate sale and waited for over a half hour to buy the Easton press books they displayed in their ad. The gate was locked and there was no mention made of it being opened until 9:30. That would have been helpful to know. Then we waited on the stoop only to find out that there were no books. "I can't be held responsible for that," a woman who boasts an all-female crew told me. "The family just comes and takes what it wants," she said. I told her that it's standard lingo in an estate sale contract that if contents are taken from the house that they should know about it. That way they can 1.) know if they're going to make any money off the sale 2.) inform their customers that the books have been removed in advance of the sale 3.) Immediately remove the photos and mention their absence in the sale description on estate sales.net or wherever else they have advertised the sale. Us 3 book buyers spend time and money coming to that sale and we were scoffed at for our arrogance. "Any other complaints?" She scowled. Yes I said that my wife used Facebook email and the office phone number to find out if the books would be there, but no one responded. Our office doesn't open until 10:00, she snapped. OMG, what BS! No responsibility... No remorse. Her's is not a way to run a successful business. read more

Ehh! This consignment shop is located in the shopping center that also includes Cheeky's, (on the opposite end). The large sign above the store actually says Consignment Interiors and you will see the complete name on the door. I don't quite know how I feel about this place so I am still a bit ambivalent. The inventory was rather limited and it felt cluttered to the point that I could not clearly see items for sale. I understand the staging of furniture but when it is for sale, it should be featured in such a way that it is able to be clearly seen and examined. I found myself walking around several times just to make sure that I didn't miss anything. I also believe that once items are SOLD, they should be moved off the main floor so as not to tempt others and to clear a path. Yes, they had some nice pieces but some of the items were a bit too modern for my taste. They looked like the less than quality pieces that one might find at Ashley's or Signature Furniture. They did have some nice dining tables, sofas, dishes and other home decor items. I just prefer large solid wood pieces in lighter shades, such as oak, pecan and maple. Their selections were much darker including mahogany and black walnut. I was particularly looking for a large chest/dresser and noticed that they did not have any in stock. It is a consignment store so I will just have to check back as they do have a rotating inventory. I really appreciated that their items were tagged with the manufacturer such as Ethan Allen and then included the markdown dates with prices. Items are consistently marked down until they are finally sold so you definitely want to visit often. This store was just okay for me and considering the other shops I have visited lately this one is just not at the top of MY list. EDIT: Hours after posting this review, I had a eureka moment when I finally realized why I felt a bit indifferent about this store. I could have been the only person in this store because there was actually no social interaction although there were two salespeople working at the counter. Now, they may have said hello but it was so benign that I don't recall. On the other hand when I left this store, I went to another store that was buzzing with activity and interaction and guess where I purchased two pieces of furniture? If you guessed the other shop, you win the prize! I also have my eye on a third piece as well. You can never discount the value of engaging your customers. I really appreciate a personal touch and it will always be rewarded with a return visit! read more

I debated reviewing this place, because it's so good. I'd hate for it to get picked over like all the other good consignment places, but we don't have room for anymore furniture anyway, so here goes. The Perfect Piece sells higher-end furniture. The prices are higher than some consignment stores, but it's because the quality is far better than most. Do you want to spend $50 on a scratched not-totally-ugly chair that's going to fall apart in the near future, or $150 on a leather piece that is in perfect condition? Maybe the rich people living near the store switch out their furniture constantly and will happily sell it for far less than it's original cost just to get it out of the way. Or maybe they've been hit by a bad economy like everyone else, because I can't believe some of the pristine pieces I saw at this store with such low prices for the quality and taste level. I don't know why anyone would sell these things for so little, but whatever, I'm thrilled with it. If you like a good deal and you like nice, sophisticated furniture, this is the place. read more

Please be careful. If your time for consignment runs out, they will make no attempt to contact you. They will take all of your consignments and keep the money when they sale. I had told them I would not donate due to the product being an expensive piece of art so they kept it, sold it, and refused to give me my portion of the sale. read more

We purchased furniture at one of their sales and when it was time to take the first load, the driveway was full with employee vehicles and customers who were inside shopping. Second load, employee vehicles still not moved and a third vehicle blocking half the driveway. In addition, checkout and hold area right at the front door making it difficult to go out the front door with the furniture and they refused to keep the garage door open so we could take it out that way. I get that the employees couldn't help move the furniture but they could have done what they could to make it easier for us to move the furniture out and they really just didn't seem to care once they got paid for the sale. Won't ever shop at one of their sales again. read more

I had a terrible time shopping their estate sales. Prices were high and worse, things that were not already priced were looked up on the proprietors phone while the customers stood there. Who knows what guidelines they were looking up but it sure sucked the fun out of the sale And felt very unprofessional. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! They do not stand behind their products or process and the customer service is shockingly bad! I found 2 barstools that I was interested in and SPECIFICALLY asked the sales associate about their return policy because although I liked the barstools aesthetically, I needed to make sure that they fit in my space . She told me that she could put a "hold" on the item for 24 hours but that she would have to run my credit card. I therefore felt comfortable, thinking that if they didn't work in my kitchen I could return them. When I got home, I realized that the backs of the chairs were too high. In LESS than 24 hours, I tried to return them. The new store associate and owner refused to hear our side of the story and also refused to be flexible with her store policy. Clearly, there had been a misunderstanding with the associate I had spoken with the day prior because I specifically asked about the return policy!! The sales associate and the OWNER of the store, Robin, were 2 of the rudest individuals I have ever come across. Clearly, customer service is not their priority! Although the owner finally agreed to refund our money, their final demonstration of the store's shocking customer service is that they told me I was unable to shop there in the future. I was NEVER planning on EVER shopping there again-- but that was just another way for them to show their rudeness! Save your money and time-- DO NOT consign or shop at the "Perfect" Piece! Had many items there for consignment, went TWICE to pick up my items and they couldn't locate quite a lot of them, ;-) lowered the prices and removed the tags from the items they did have so I couldn't prove that they changed the prices! Sooooo, I'm going to make this short and sweet. The items for sale are what you would expect at a higher-end home decor consignment store. If you want cheap crap, go down the street to the Goodwill. I have a huge problem with the extremely unfriendly and unhelpful woman who works at this shop. She really has no personality, and is VERY persnickety (I can do without the snotty attitude, thanks). She needs to be reminded that if it was not for the customer consigning their items, she would have no job. There are many other local high end furniture consignment shops I can bring my items to, and customer service is everything. Hope the owner reads this and does something about this employee. read more
