As a matter of fact, on the last interaction, I was advised that they were out of town on vacation and would get back to me......in the midst of coordinating choices for an immediate build. That was enough, so I cut the cord with these folks immediately thereafter, and went with a competitor who was willing to help me. I'm a disabled veteran, and needed help with this process and coordination....all I got was bupkis from the Denver Better Built Barns....let me make this VERY clear. I do NOT recommend using this business at any cost. If the customer/sales service are any way indicative of their construction and materials used.....RUN!. Thank you.

The first store I called had an operator who sounded like my call and questions were an inconvenience to her. The second store I called wouldn't bring samples to the home. On my third try I was the lucky recipient of a store that not only would bring samples to my home but as an added bonus they were family owned. I was impressed to see they were closed on Sundays for "family time" What inordinate respect I have for an establishment that values family over possible revenue earned on a Sunday. Wait,it gets even better! Carpet Mill sent a wonderful sales person to my home. His name was Chad Campbell . This young man is one in a million! With a personality that could win awards he could have easily sold me snowballs in the middle of winter!!!! To conclude the sale I went into the store to leave a check. Chad could have easily made more money on the sale but instead he told me to wait 5 days to bring the check in because in 5 days the carpeting I chose was going on sale and he would then give me the sale price. Is that totally incredible ? Why shop anywhere else when you have the best of the best with Carpet Mill outlet?

(we did not look at carpet at all and I am sure based on their name that is what they primarily sell but this review is for tile purposes only as that is what we looked at) They did have some selection but it was not as wide as we hoped. They also had some hardwood and fake hardwood available as well. When walking in we were not really greeted. I didn't understand we had to go get our temperature taken first and had walked over to go look at tile. So found out after the fact. It was a little bit awkward. The lady then pointed out the tile to us and let us do our thing. I didn't find the people working there at the time to be overly friendly. They were not unfriendly or rude. Just not really warm and welcoming. The selection of tile was relatively small. We did manage to find one thing we liked but as we were just getting going we took note of the price and the item numbers. It was a little more money than we had been hoping to pay. We said we would come back though if we ended up deciding on the tile from them.

He told me that the "damage" wasn't bad and that the floor could be brought back to "new" with sanding and wood staining. 5 Days out of the house for him to work his magic and WOW! Even the wife is impressed with the "new" floors. The floor looks like new again and Kaz made suggestions on improving the longevity and care of the floors. I wish I had more floors for him to bring back to "new". All completed for SUBSTANTIALLY less than a replacement floor. Can't give this guy and his company enough stars and kudos. And he answers his phone too.

This place is a great resource! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I know pretty much nothing about prepping, etc., but whenever I have a question, I get really helpful and not condescending answers. I should mention too that I love Benjamin Moore paint. We've used Natura before and it was great (zero VOC!) and we just painted our kitchen with Aura -- also superb. It coats extremely well. Now we're working on the exterior of our house, and the Low Lustre exterior paint has been great too. Forrest did a custom color match to our existing front porch paint and it was perfect. Woo! Also, anyone who has a rescued greyhound gets bonus points from me.

He has often informed me of new products and sundries available that I wasn't aware of. The store is clean and welcoming, and his assistant, Heather, is great too. Forrest almost always has his dog with him at the store, she's a friendly rescued Greyhound. I have never had a bad paint mix from them (I am a regular customer) And it's a lifesaver for me that they carry samples in just about all of the Ben Moore colors. Some places that carry Ben Moore only have the limited palette of factory produced sample sizes, but Forest supplements those with the remaining colors. It's such a great feature. I'm so happy they are around and centrally located. P.S. Thursday is "donut Thursdays"

He showed up on time every day, was neat and organized with his tools and the tons of rocks he ordered, and he left the place looking like he really cared about it. He finished in a week and a day, exactly as he promised, and at the exact cost he had estimated in a line-by-line written cost analysis. The final outcome was even more beautiful than I had imagined!
