My mom passed away at the end of March, and I was completely lost on where to even begin. A close friend referred me to Guillermo, and after going through the process with him, she even told me she wished she had used Accu-Care for her own family because of their pricing and the services they provide. From start to finish, Guillermo was compassionate, calm, and incredibly helpful. He walked me through every step - from coordinating with the church I preferred, to scheduling the viewing, the memorial service, and everything in between and after (cremation). He answered all my questions patiently and never once made me feel pressured into any upgrades. He truly provided everything I wanted and needed to honor my mom, without adding any stress during an already emotional time. I did reach out to a few other companies, but Accu-Care's pricing was by far the most reasonable, and the level of service I received made me feel at peace with my decision. Planning something so sensitive and important felt manageable because of Guillermo's professionalism and kind demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend using Accu-Care, Cremation and Funerals. If you're in a difficult place and don't know where to start, start with them - you'll be in good hands.

Should anyone I know ever need cremation services, I will absolutely be recommending Accu-Care. Thank you, Skye! God bless you and your entire team.

After the pickup we were told that a representative would reach out to us the following day so we could start making arrangements. They didn't call till 3 days later even after leaving them multiple messages! Imagine not knowing what's happening to your loved one or where they are located after they died. Our assigned rep only called AFTER I switched to Anubis Cremations and had arrangements for the body to be brought to their facilities. Wesleigh was so easy to work with. She picked up my call right away and took care of everything. She communicated every step of the way. I told her that my uncle who is a priest will be arriving in 2 weeks and we would like for the cremation and memorial service to happen while he was here. She mentioned that it's a very tight schedule but she would try to make it happen. And she 100% delivered!!! Within an hour of my initial call she had my auntie's body arranged for pickup, she sent paperwork to us and the doctor so she could start the process of filing the death certificate. The church where we wanted the memorial service wouldn't let us reserve a time till they had a cremation date. We were able to get the cremation date within a few days. We opted for a private open viewing at the crematory in Van Nuys. The crematory only does night time viewing which worked well for us since our family is busy working during the day. Wesleigh's coworker Jonathan took great care of us at the viewing. The place had a room for up to 15 people where family members could sit with the casket prior to the cremation. They dressed our auntie in her formal barong and jewelry. We were allowed to provide flowers, letters, and mementoes in the cardboard casket. Jonathan gave us sharpies so we could write notes on the casket. There were aslo tissues and an easel for our use. Although the viewing was technically 15 minutes, we were not rushed and were given about 20-25 minutes to do a prayer service and say our goodbyes. And then Jonathan and another employee wheeled her into the crematory. We watched them place her casket in the "oven" and once the door closed we left. They even allowed us to live stream the entire time we were there to our auntie's relatives back in the Philippines. The following day Wesleigh delivered the ashes to the church and she provided the letters and instructions we needed to bring the ashes back to the Philippines. We were also very happy with the urn we ordered from Anubis. It was engraved and had a photo of our auntie. It was perfect. I can't thank Wesleigh and Jonathan enough for providing an outstanding service that was stress-free, efficient, compassionate, and super professional during this difficult time of grief. I whole-heartedly recommend Annubis.

Life can truly change in an instant. My mom was my world, my best friend, my other half. We were always together. She had her battle with kidney disease but never thought her life would end so abruptly the way it did. She passed away very suddenly after a short 5 day hospital stay at Hoag Hospital. I have never experienced death up close and firsthand like this before so I wasn't prepared at all. Thank goodness SFM was recommended in the handbook I was given by the hospital after my mom passed away. I needed to find a mortuary with less than 72 hours to pick up her body from the hospital and taken to the mortuary with my consent. I was in such a state of shock and sadness I could not even think about doing that right away, but the next day after her passing the hospital continued to call me asking if I had picked a mortuary so I had to drag myself out of bed and get to the computer before the day was over and get to it. I looked for something close, and cross referenced on yelp before calling. I only called SFM. I was not about to multiple mortuaries for several reasons. Cynthia immediately picked up the phone and walked me through everything. She essentially held my hand through this entire process. Without her, I don't know how I would have gotten through this. She was so respectful, knowledgeable, calming, and sympathetic to my situation. She immediately sent over the consent form via DocuSign for me so they could pick up my mom's remains from the hospital. Then she set up an appointment for us to come in and make arrangements in person. She had already did a thorough intake over the phone with me and was so knowledgeable. She knew I was so sad and devastated over the loss of my mom. She was patient with me, which I greatly appreciated. We came in on February 20th, 2025 and we {sister, myself, Onyx and a family friend} to pick out my moms urn. My mom had specific instructions she asked to be cremated with no services and a nice urn picked out. We did just that, Cynthia showed us so many catalogs with endless options! We settled on a shiny red urn that had silver hearts. We were able to get it engraved with a saying and my mom's dates with a silver cross. We also picked out two matching keepsakes to go with her urn. My sister & I also picked out necklaces that were filled with her ashes in it. Cynthia also helped me with all of the paperwork and as well as using my moms life insurance policy to cover her cremation expenses. She walked me through everything. There is so much paperwork and little things involved. I cannot thank SFM, Cynthia and Julie for everything they have done for us. My mom was cremated and remains ready within a 2 week turn around. {Made arrangements 02/20/25-picked up remains 03/04/25) They always communicated with us, every step of the way. This is such a fragile, delicate and painful time. You are in good hands with SFM. Thank you lovely ladies for your help and support during this difficult time. -Rachel & Alexis
