Amazing little theater for a small town. High quality performances, and there are great camps for the kids over the summer.

So glad Debay has a Center for Arts. More people should take advantage of what they have to offer.

Dig this place! A family owned gallery and school for artists to improve and learn a range of…read moreskills. Walked around in here for a bit checking out the range of skills and visions of the various artists they have on display. It somewhat reminded me of being in Barcelona on an afternoon when various artists would set up on the square. My favorite artists on display here are: Tom Abbott - 3-dimensional Mixed Media - bright and vibrant colors that literally jump off the canvas; you will be tempted to touch each piece. He displays various textures throughout his pieces. There are ripped and frayed-edge canvas to smooth poured paint. They don't have a story behind them, he simply does it some everyone can have fun with his art. Jerry D. Martin - photographer - After seeing a sunset photo, I looked it up online and discovered that when moving to FL, a sunset experience really turned him onto landscape and he has a very similar sunset connection that I do: "A sunset is a celebration of the end of a long day. It is the final light of the evening that sends us a variety of color which allows us to witness God's ability to paint the perfect picture." - YAS! Fridays they have Art Class & a Wine Glass: http://www.artclassandawineglass.com - for anyone, not just "artists" - this is a fun way to get your paint on and hang out with friends or meet new people. It takes place in the middle of the gallery.

Beautiful work, and friendly staff. I am visiting from Las Vegas and have visited this gallery…read moretwice, and might visit again if I wasn't about to board my flight! Sharon was very kind and her artwork was excellent. They are licensed to sell beer and wine so if you want a nice relaxing time to view art and drink wine, come here! They also offer classes which sounded awesome, but I unfortunately did not have time to attend one. Because I am flying home today with an already packed luggage I couldn't purchase anything, but Sharon was still very kind in her sharing of knowledge with me regarding the art pieces. I would highly recommend this gallery!

But upon arrival, I was surprised on what was inside the building! Parking isn't bad, it's either asphalt or grass, but plenty of space when you walk in, you can see the history of the building by the low ceilings and how some of the walkways are. You can either purchase tickets online, or in person, I recommend purchasing them online so you can select your seat in advance. There is a concession stand with various candies for a $1, and I'm talking the regular candy that you see at the store while waiting in line at Publix, such as full size Reese's, M&M's, Hershey's, Famous Amos cookies, sodas, waters, and Milano cookies for 50¢! The theater itself is small but intimate, and I feel as though you'll get a great view of the stage no matter where you sit. My wife and I enjoyed the performance, and the sounds quality was great. I may look forward to coming to some shows at the shoestring theater, however the drive was a bit of a mission, so make sure you have your phone battery charged for your GPS to find the place!

My favorite place in this building has to be the bathrooms. They must have put a lot of money into them, because they are BEAUTIFUL. Large stalls, gorgeous mirrors, and enough room if it gets crowded. The concession stand has all the typical fare Luke candies, water, soda, and popcorn, and my only drawback is theater seating. I feel when the house is full, having a middle seat will suck cause you have to cross so many people to get there. Overall, a great theater!
