When you play on a table you should know not to have your beverages or food over the cloth, put objects on the table or do anything that may damage the equipment. A staff member approached you (any one should be able to inform you of this basic ettiquette) and politely asked you to keep your drink back from the table and the reason why. You became immediately confrontational - Why? Who are You? Are you "even" staff? They informed you of all this.... You then decided to amp up needlessly situation and you know all the other things that you and your party did and I'm not going to get into that... The staff at Strokers are excellent and everyone is welcome there, and many people from many different nationalities and walks of life play there - what it boils down to is that you had a chip on your shoulder and instead of just accepting the staffs request you decided to take offense and then double down on that, saying it was due to race - and that is just disgusting. I've admittedly made indiscretions of my own at times and have been reminded by staff of rules and ettiquette, as have many players - all you had to do was be polite and accepting instead of taking it personal - maybe you should reflect on your own actions of Saturday night - you ruined the night for yourself, your friends and frankly for staff who work very hard for the patrons and deserve better. Strokers is one of the very best halls in all of Ontario and despite your false misleading review will continue to be successful for all the hard work its owner and staff do to maintain an excellent room. I use to play some of the games that they had and would end up winning a small stuffed animal. I still have to win that huge Bart Simpson doll...lol. Next September, I will plan to go back and see if I run into any of my old friends from school. This place will definitely be nostalgic for me.

Drinks are not free, unless a high roller, also drink service, you can get ONE drink every 30 minutes. Is a smoking casino up front, and non smoking in the back. It wasn't bad as a normal small space smoking casino, BUT my clothes did smell like it when got home. Took us several hours to lose all our money, so guess that was a good time The one bar up front had maritni specials, and was able to try a toasted s'mores martini which was super tasty! You pay up front before being seated and inside it's a buffet. On the night I went it was lobster tails and prime rib. The lobster tails for the majority were fresh, chewy, and full of flavor. The Prime rib was tender and not too overdone. They also had a salad bar, dessert station, and soup/bread station which were all solid. No complaints whatsoever, but my faves were the chef's pasta and mashed potatoes. Hands down the best mashed potatoes I've had in my life. All in all very good, especially at the $15 (member) / $25 (non member) price point. The Prime rib and lobster tails kept coming, the food was steaming hot, partially because the venue was packed, and there's a long line that keeps getting longer as the night passes on. 10/10 would recommend
