Monte Carlo is located just east of Dundas and Dixie, but is not visible from the main roads, which made it hard to find. It's located in a fairly old strip mall that I usually drive by without giving a second glance. The bar itself is an older looking establishment, but very well kept. There are many pool tables and a handful of snooker tables that take up the large space, which consists of one long main room, and two smaller rooms. The staff were accommodating when I informed them that I had a Groupon. They even gave us a reminder when we had 5 minutes left in our promotional 2 hour limit, which was very nice of them. The drinks here are decently priced, with a beer costing about $3.50. The appetizers are decently priced as well, but don't expect anything special. I ordered the jalepeno poppers and they were clearly just heated from a frozen state, with some being colder than others. While the food was just alright, the actual pool tables were quite good! The tables are well kept, and ours didn't have any rips or bumps that would've impacted our game. There was ample space between tables, so at no point did we ever feel cramped for space. The cues are also decent and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend this place to others for those who want a pure pool experience. For a night out, I'd still recommend Wacky Wings because the food and entertainment is incomparable.

There is a minimum of a 2 row play, but it's pretty cheap entertainment! There are 6 or so games included in your card and a few extras you can purchase at $2 a pop. I'm not sure about pricing for other nights! Here are some important facts: - there is no alcohol - you can bring your own snacks! - the snacks available for purchase kind of suck - if it's your first time there, you get a free bingo dauber! - the bathrooms are kind of yuck - you will get cut eye from the regulars, but they are friendly!! An amazing security guard named Tammy explained how to register, with recos on how to save money and still participate in as many games/winning opportunities as possible. Honestly, if it wasn't for Tammy, I'd have left because we had NO idea how this place worked! If you're new, tell them, and staff will lead you to the newbie zone where you'll get extra help if you need it. I know you're thinking "It's Bingo. What's so hard about this?". Friend, this scene moves FAST. We had no idea what an Aqua Ball, G Zone or SuperBall was, the difference between paper and electronic Bingo... and still don't. The Bingo caller up front on a platform is speaking a foreign Bingo Lingo and you just gotta roll with it.
