This is my "Go-To" for a haircut. It is highly recommended to schedule an appointment on their website. Otherwise, the wait can be lengthy for a walk-in. If you're not sure who to use, I personally enjoy Carlos way of cutting my hair. If you're looking for beard work, I've seen numerous clients go to the young lady in the back for beard work. I've never seen anyone complain about their cut at this place. Every barber is highly skilled in their craft! They offer you water or beer when you come in (if you're of age). Everyone is always talking about something, it's very relaxing and enjoyable coming here. They can be pricey, but honestly you get what you pay for! Top notch, it's a must try for everyone! We came here because my sons usual barber shop is so hard to get into at the last minute. This place is also really close to home so we were happy to find this shop. The barber my son got was Bradley and he is amazing. My son is a teen and wants his hair like all the teen boys these days, but my son's hair type makes that extremely difficult. My son showed Bradley a few pictures and videos of what he wanted, and Bradley pretty much hit the mark. He also explained to my son that not all hair types can look like the picture and videos, and he showed him ways to use product and a hair diffuser to get volume and lift. We are so lucky we found Bradley and this shop! read more

I was taken quickly and got a good haircut with a bit of a beard trim for good measure without asking for one. The price was the reasonable and the quality was good. I'm actually pretty annoyed and mad. We had my sons back to school hair cut scheduled for almost a week now and my husband wakes up to an email saying you cancelled his hair cut appointment and didn't even TRY to call us or put him on another barbers books. Just cancelled. And now you have 0 appts until Wednesday and school starts on Tuesday. We will not be coming back! I thought we had FINALLY found a good barber shop with great barbers. Maybe you don't care about your clients that much? IDK. But I'm sure I'll have to settle for Sports Clips because no barber is going to have availability on such short notice. I've came in 3 times with an appointment with any barber & all 3 times these guys have not let me down. I have 4c hair texture so it's extremely coarse & nappy hair but these guy's can work with any hair texture so have 0 worries once you sit in the chair. The inside of the shop has a nice modern but home aesthetic these guys are professional. They are my main barbers for as long as i'm in the area they are always reliable. So I have...had some pretty long hair on the top of my head, I wanna say it was like 8 inches, I asked for a fury type haircut on the top and a medium skin fade. Skin fade was fine it looks great then we got to the top...he left the front of the top around the same length and at the back it's like a buzz cut it doesn't even slick all the way back, and I didn't even notice it till I got home. This is the 3rd time something like this has happened at this shop i either ask for a quarter to a half inch off and they cut off lIke 5 inches. Thank god hair grows back but I'll be wearing a hat for the next 2 weeks. You definitely will not see me here again. read more

Daniel my cousin cuts my hair and has done nothing less than fantastic at doing what he does best. He does my hair and beard to make sure I look the best I can look at my job. I was pretty sick of chain places (such as Supercuts, Great-clips, etc.) making me uglier than I already am, or using some friend of a friend who "went to hair school" and walking away like some kinda pumpkin pie hair-cutted freak. I used to go to Barber shops as a child with my dad, and remembered the feel of those kinds of places as being laid back, yet professional and very close knit. I guess a Barber is to a man, as a hair dresser is to a woman. You only use one you trust, and after a few return visits (assuming they did a good job), they usually know your hair better than you do. They know you by name and take their time and do it right; exactly how you tell them to do it. When I went in to Gateway for the first time, I went off a recommendation from a friend who had his hair cut there earlier that day, and his cut was super clean. I went in and they asked what I wanted, I showed him a picture of what I had in mind off google, he asked me a few more specific questions, and went to work. I got a comb-over with a fade on about a 1 plus a razor line-up. I'VE NEVER HAD A BETTER HAIRCUT! I'll be back every two weeks to see Adam, that guy knows what he is doing! My 1st time in 1/19 , It was busy but i looked at everyone in the chairs saw everyone looked clean decided to wait it out. Took about 30 mins to get in Anthony's seat and he did a great job on my taper fade. He took his time and went over it again and again . I Will be back to get my kids cut next! Unfortunately, this barbershop is in decline now going into sunset of a small business. Barbers are rude and don't care anymore if the customer is satisfied. The management too has given up trying to make customers happy. Very sad. I used to get my haircut here, quite regularly. But my loyalty did not mean anything to the management. I was late once by 20 minutes and they refused to cut mine and my son's hair. I remember waiting several times for more than 30 minutes when I had an appointment. But that did not matter to the management. I left and later found they had charged me for 2 haircuts. Loyalty means nothing to these guys. I called the manager and he said he didn't care. Sad that it came to that. Do yourself a favor and patronize a barber that will remember how important customer satisfaction is. Gateway doesn't care. And just want to add that the reply below by Gerardo B is a complete lie. I was not told anything about calling back on Tuesday to resolve. Gerardo just made this up after reading my review. So sad that they have to resort to trying to hide their rude and uncaring attitude.
