Around 7:30 pm, GDN sent a technician (Steffon) out to help me close my garage door. They also scheduled a technician (Curtis) to replace my door on Monday. GDN's prompt response and the excellent customer service of their technicians eased the anxiety I experienced. I thought I would not be able to close my garage for multiple days. Steffon and Curtis were great. Steffon even recommended ways to fix additional issues related to the concrete flooring in my garage, which was not properly installed by the developers.

The dispatcher told me to expect a call within two hours when the technician was 5-10 minutes away. Less than an hour later, Ahmad called to let me know he was coming and he arrived about 5 minutes after that. Ahmad was extremely professional, explaining their rates, diagnosing the issue, quickly solving the problem with a new sensor installation and rewire job, and giving me a quick primer on how to keep the sensors working well. I could not believe that my garage door was expertly fixed less than two hours after I called and that the costs were within the estimated rate. Bonus: he left the work area cleaner than how he found it. I appreciate how quickly I received service, how well Ahmad repaired the issue, and how affordable the repair was. I really love when service technicians deliver on their promises. If something happens to my door again, I will definitely call them.

My garage door went on the 'fritz' suddenly Sunday late in the day. I was able to disable the door and get it up but was worried something was seriously wrong. Numani came right at 1pm Monday as expected and in less than an hour figured, and solved, the problem: just a faulty wire that cost only a tiny amount plus the very reasonable service fee which covers all maintenance. I also got a new remote for a small fee and it was worth the piece of mind to have one. I would certainly recommend the company to family and friends and to anyone reading this. Numani sure knows his stuff and I can't say enough good things about the warm and funny Trey who make the booking and Q&A part a pleasure. Five stars for sure!

Waste of time. I…read morerequested someone come look at my door to repair/replace and give me a quote. I was explicit in my message that it's not a garage, it's a standing door to a carport. He was scheduled to arrive 8-12. I woke up early on my day off so I could be ready for him. At 12:15 I get a call saying, I'm running late, I'll be there in another 45 min, do you still want me to swing by? When I said yes I got the impression he was hoping I would just cancel and let him off scott-free. 1hr15min after that he finally does arrive. Says a few things, then repeats it several times. Doesn't listen to a word I say. At one point he goes to open the door. Now, it's in need of repair, that's why i called him. When I opened it, I was careful and slow. He just flings it open. Of course that makes it break, and one of the wheels pops out of the track. He sits there shoving on it, trying to force it. I have to tell him three times that a wheel is off before he stops trying to just break my door. When I do, he looks over at one of the wheels that's perfectly fine, pokes it a bit... then goes back to shoving on the door. I literally have to shout before he will stop and look at where I'm pointing at the wheel obviously off the track and he acts like early man discovering fire. He tells me they don't offer warranties on outside doors; there's just no way to have a door outside like this and protect it from the elements. The wires are just going to be damaged from being outside, end of story. He tells me this 3-4 times, that they do outside doors but they don't warranty them. Then he says, I don't think we do outside doors, calls his supervisor, yeah we don't do outside doors. I was very clear in my first message this was an outside door. Six hours of my weekend could have been saved if they'd just told me at the start that they don't do this kind of door before sending someone over to be five hours late, then break my door and be rude. These people don't listen, they will not respect your time, and I imagine they do awful work. I wouldn't recommend them if they offered to work for free.
