I went in for my second endoscopy with Dr. Briggs, hoping for answers. This procedure was supposed to help figure out why I suffer from chronic hiccups--episodes that last 24 to 48 hours straight, where I hiccup with every single breath I take. While I was with the nurses preparing for the procedure, Dr. Briggs walked in and asked, "How are the hiccups, are they getting any better?" I told him no. His response was, "Sounds like you're going to have to deal with that the rest of your life." In that moment, my heart sank. I felt like all hope had been ripped away from me. I held back tears in the room, but inside I was completely shattered. The thought that I might have to live the rest of my life like this was unbearable. After the procedure, I sat in my car and broke down, sobbing from the devastation of his words. But deep down, I know this isn't the end of my story. With the right doctor and God's will, there is hope. I will never return here again. read more

The services I rec'd from Lora Beth Horton, Nurse Practitioner and honestly she seem to not care at all. I met with her at 7 am cst sharp. I have been experiencing severe and very frequent symptoms of nausea for almost a year. I had an endoscopy, colonoscopy and a stomach emptying (nuclear test) in the last 3 months. Nothing so far has come up with what could be causing the nausea, it has become dibilitating and I have no quality of life. Now she wants to send me up for test of my gallblader (ultrasound), but who knows when that is suppose to happen. I am very frustrated and spending a lot of $$$$ and getting nowhere. She was suppose to call in a prescription, but nothing has happened yet!! read more

I had a 10 year followup colonoscopy and everyone I had contact with was professional, kind and helpful. The prep was better than what I had to do in Colorado 10 years ago (things get better so I'm sure they use something better now as well). Took awhile for Jessica to get to the front desk so I could check in but she was friendly and efficient. Meredith got me prepped and got me up afterwards and she was very kind and patient. I believe it was Roseanne? that did the IV and she was very good. Dr. Scott Hendrickson did my procedure - I barely saw him but the procedure went well. Xian Zhang was the anesthesiologist and has a mediocre bed side manner. My allergies were bothering me and she wanted me to cough and blow my nose well but there weren't any tissues in my cubicle. By the time they brought tissues in they had me on the bed and were wheeling me out of there. She said I did fine and didn't have any issues while she was monitoring me. The only thing I didn't see on my copy was what anesthesia was used-just said "General Anesthesia, See the Anesthesia note for documentation of the administered medications" BUT there wasn't any note in my report. This is something I feel they should improve on and list the medication or attach the note so we know what was used without having to call or ask for that information. read more

I had Dr. Martin and he was wonderful. He was patient, listened to my concerns and addressed them knowledgably. I have recommended him to others. I received a thorough exam and will be back when it is time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that the nurse did not do a good job getting my IV in and it was very painful. She called for another nurse who was able to insert it. read more

I have gone here from my preventative screenings such as colonoscopy, and they were great. My only complaint is they need more people answering the phone for scheduling. I've had to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes to speak to a scheduler. It's annoying but once you get to the office, it makes the hold worthwhile. read more

Wish I could rate this office more than five stars. I've been a patient of Dr Martin for years. Dr Martin and his staff are professional, competent, pleasant and informative. The office is very clean and organized. I never felt like I was rushed. Dr Martin takes the time to listen to your concerns then responds appropriately. I've had several procedures done over the years and knew exactly what was expected financially. I definitely recommend this office to anyone who values their health. By the way, I was surprised at the bad review because that is not this office at all. That's why I decided to give my review. Today's appointment was merely for questions and answers. I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Martin for YEARS. There is nothing negative to say about him. He is on time, answers all questions clearly, and never rushes me. I would double his stars if possible. I have had both colonoscopies and endoscopies over the years. With regard to the staff, any issues have been minute; this practice is run like a well-oiled machine. read more

Been a patient for a while now and I WILL NOT STEP FOOT in this office again. BE DILIGENT ON EVERY PROCEDURE THEY WANNA DO ON YOU. You will be on the hook for surprise tests that you don't even remember doing. They will not explain anything regarding a bill. They cannot even tell you how they did a so called test. All they do is make excuses when they are called out on their bullshit. Expect to pay whatever the hell they feel like billing that day because your only seen as $$. read more

Each time I go in is more dramatic than the last - but I'm honestly just trying to get a routine colonoscopy. They had be come out for the first consultation. Waiting while patients are screaming in the hallway. Eventually the person seeing me does the quick math of weight and height and says with the BMI we'll need to go to the hospital to do. That was the whole point of the consult. Go to the office she sends me to in order to schedule the colonoscopy and they say I need an additional consult. Come back and spends another hour to be able to see someone who dramatically writes down my weight and height, does the division and says my BMI is too high and we need to go to the hospital. I am then sent to schedule. I go to schedule again and I am told that the hospital will need to do a consult. I am a month into this process and the hospital consult is not available is not available until the end of next month. It will be at least 4 months to get an optional safety test. They have not been rude, but the process has shown they do not value my time. They also do not communicate even on the same floor - had to repeat my weight 3 times since the system they use wasn't keeping it and was called and asked for it again later in the day. Overall not sure if this is who I trust to be able to perform a procedure since communicating between different parts of their practice seems to be too challenging. read more

The AC in this building is not working. People are crammed in a room. Not to mention that once you are You can't leave. I brought my father here for a procedure and was told I couldnt leave to grab a drink that there was a water fountain..with water that was like warm at best and in a sauna for hours. They dont tell the patient that their drivers MUST stay and out of fear of them turning him away I made the girls suffer. They are rude and I dont reccomend this place to anyone. We came early and it was rough...I feel for those who come later. Kid who is crying in the lobby for 20 mins the nurse said she will be fine you can't leave. read more
