I recently switched over for my primary care, to Dr. Tate. My first experience was so good. I just felt so much better on the changes she made. I felt like she took her time and listened to what I was needing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was very little waiting from my appointment to checking me in, to calling me back. I had no problems getting prescriptions filled or making changes when the pharmacy didn't have what we needed or it was too expensive. I highly recommend GRASSROOTS healthcare. read more

They ask you to call in to their office to renew hormone prescriptions every month, which I did but, I had to call back 2 days later because they still had not called it in. The doctor was out sick and they did not cover her patients so I was left hanging until she recovered which they did not know how many days she would be out. I was left waiting on my prescription not knowing if it had been called in to the pharmacy or not. After a second call to see if someone else could call it in a lady called me back and talked over me trying to explain what I needed. She called me rude for simply asking why they had not had someone cover the doctor's patients. I would run out of my prescription before the other doctor got well and came back and then the pharmacy took several days to fill it. I was not rude at all. She gave me a bunch of excuses and even blamed it on the pharmacy who had not even gotten the prescription yet. Very unprofessional. She acted like I was asking too much for them to manage their staff and call in a prescription. Won't go back. read more

This was a one of a kind doctors office. Aimed at low cost healthcare for everyone with honest and caring staff, Grassroots will always be a place I remember fondly due to how they took care of me. Sadly, Grassroots Healthcare had to close their doors. It's a real shame, Dr. Tate and the staff there were literally the first and only doctor I truly trusted and felt like they cared. She also goes out of her way to find her patients affordable prescriptions, like minded businesses that would help you out, and looks out for her patients as if they were her friends. A great example of how much she cared, she would not prescribe me a particular medicine that was highly addictive until she made sure I knew the side effects and the danger of the drug. Other doctors hand this same drug out like candy. I am still on the tiny dose she set me up with and can proudly say her advice saved me from becoming hooked on this medication. She commonly would not charge me for my visits if they were repeats for the same problem, something I was against, her services are valuable and worth every penny. You can find Dr. Tate now at Premier Healthcare in Tulsa if you were not alerted to their closing recently. Please give her some love at the new clinic, she's outstanding and worth finding. I will miss the clinic and the people there. I loved them and they loved me and it showed in their care. read more

Dr. Tate is incredible. I feel very at home and well taken care of at Grassroots. I kept my insurance for emergency purposes (car accidents, etc) but being able to go to Grassroots whenever I need to, it not being expensive and it covering most things has been such a relief. Also, I love that I can text the doctor questions instead of having to come in for something minor. read more

I called to see how much it would cost for a check up they said $89 coo, went in the desk lady was rude not friendly condescending to me atleast, didn't greet me when I walked and acted like she was too busy to serve me. Went to the back what I came in for isn't what I got it was a sad excuse of why? She didn't even look inside my vagina where she needed to and just quoted me on only what she saw no tests.. I didn't feel comfortable about it. And on top of that the cost was extra to get done what I wanted and she said it wouldn't make sense to do that, but then proceeded to tell me that some people care about the money done don't.. when she obviously just said it wouldn't make sense for me to do with this long drawn out story.. I paid $110 for a diagnose that I already knew.. ima take this LOSS, this place used to be good. It's weird and just take money. I have Insurance the only reason why I came here was because I needed to get checked and that didn't even happen I should have waited on my OGBYN .. read more

I had an appointment several weeks ago to receive a medical marijuana license. Not only were they rude, but also incredibly inconsiderate. They caused me to have an seizure, while poking me like a science fair project. As I was transported in my wheelchair to our car, they followed and mocked my family and my disability. I would not recommend them to anyone ever. read more

My wife uses this for her health care now. What a great place, affordable and first rate care.
