This might sound silly, but for YEARS I thought making my annual OBGYN appointment was good enough…read morefor all of my health needs. My gynecologist informed me that was not the case when she asked who was my primary doctor and I responded..."Is that not you?". She quickly recommended Dr. Ashley Hildebrand and I tried to schedule an appointment with her not long after. She didn't have any immediate openings for new patients available but I didn't mind waiting a couple of months since there was no urgent issue. The building itself looks pretty new and they have plenty of waiting area in the lobby. Someone quickly checked me in and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. A nurse came in shortly after I was escorted to a room and went through the whole intake process. She was super nice and made me feel at ease. She also made note of things I told her I had questions about for the doctor. Shorty after, Dr. Hildebrand came in and she was lovely! She took the time to get to know me and answer some of my super basic questions. She made me feel very comfortable instead of awkward or embarrassed about my body. I highly recommend her! As if that wasn't enough, months after my appointment, she messaged me through their online messaging system following up on some issues I had mentioned. I felt so listened and cared for! The only reason I don't give it one more star was because the nurse that did my bloodwork was super cold and I didn't really know what was going on so I felt lost.

I'd rather be here than ascension emergency. And how convenient it is to make an appointment…read moreonline. Not my first rodeo. I've always found the personnel friendly and professional. Also I've always noticed the cleanliness. However, this time they sent me to Ascension emergency.

The doctor was a cool dude but hindsight, kind of wished he had insisted more on me having X-rays…read morewith my other injuries to ensure I had no fractures but overall no issues with the doc, he was friendly and knowledgeable. Problem was my nurse. She gave off the persona of a lost careless sloth, slow, no sense of urgency and w/o much interest to how well the job was performed nor idea of what she was really doing. Maybe she was new or was end of day & stopped caring. Regardless not okay + everything took multiple tries like my heart rate, blood pressure, and most importantly gluing the cut on my head, which is what I went in for and never got 100% fixed. After being glued up by the nurse, went into the car and realized I was still bleeding. Went back in for a touch up and by then the office was closing so I had to leave right away. When I went home I still had a section that wasn't glued up and all the blood ended up dripping out of that opening. Could have done better myself with some glue from the drug store while concussed. After resting for a day, my shin had began to hurt really from when I fell backwards down some steps stairs after my head impact. Went to a hospital to ensure no fractures, which they confirmed was just a bad bruise. Wish I had gotten everything done with one visit instead of having to go to the hospital less than 48 hours later and waste a bunch of $$$ and time. Think a few of their 5 star reviews are also fake. I did but go here because it was close to where I got injured & of the high rating on Yelp. They also have offices in Michigan where I'm from so thought if I needed to go back it would have been easier. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you need a script or something from the doctor and not any assistance from the nurse.

I noticed small bumps on my forearms after a trip and figured it was hives (even though it didn't…read moreitch). After a week of them not going away, I decided to get a professional opinion. I called my dermatologist, thinking this was more in their wheelhouse, but they didn't have an appointment available until October. That's when I figured urgent care might be my best bet. I arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday morning. There were a couple of people in the waiting room. I walked up to the window and the staff let me know I could check in electronically on my phone. I scanned a QR code and sure enough, all the intake/medical forms were online. I'm a huge fan of using less paper and this seemed extremely convenient since it also lets you know how many people are in front of you. I waited maybe 15 minutes and then a nurse called my name. She was very nice and asked helpful questions about why I was there. After the usual weigh in and intake process, she told me a doctor would be with me soon. Dr. Dan was amazing! He was in such a lighthearted mood that my mood immediately improved. He was friendly and asked lots of probing questions trying to get to the cause of the bumps. He helped me realize that it might be an allergic reaction to liquid collagen of all things. He prescribed me some tablets to make it go away and a cream. Highly recommend. The bumps are gone already. I only had to pay $35 with insurance.

My friend told me about access medical and so I looked online an booked an appointment. The site was a little confusing as to how to book it but once I did I saw that I had multiple locations to pick from as well as times. Which was great because I needed to leave town to go to Dallas that afternoon. I managed to find one near me that was in 45 minutes. They got me an immediately and I waited about 5 to 10 minutes for my results. It was nice because a medical professional comes in and talks to you about it so I was able to ask him questions about my exposure. Luckily I was negative as was the person who I was around who was around the positive person. If I ever need a rapid test again this is definitely the place I will go!
