My boyfriend had to have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. He said they were very professional and everything went well.

If you're interested in being treated like cattle this is your place. I've never been so rushed in or out of a medical facility in my life. My eyes were still half closed as they were dumping me in my drivers car post procedure . I was promised some medical attention about a personal issue and not only was I lied to (to keep me from rescheduling) but I also didn't have an opportunity to discuss the extremely painful experience I was dealing with. Lastly I was promised an RX to be called in as a consolation prize and that didn't happen. There were a few friendly souls working for the practice that I would like to acknowledge but I wasn't given time to even get there name. Thank you nameless nurses. read more

Although my visits have been few, my experience with Dr. Conkling's office is nothing but excellent. From the moment you walk into his office, his team is ready to help. Courteous, polite and professional is the best way to describe the team up front. Once inside the nurse made you feel at ease she let me know what was going to happen along the way. She first asked if I had any questions then she told me here's what's going to happen this morning. First we will place you in this room. You'll get undressed, put on your robe and lay down on the bed, next you'll be visited by the anesthesiologist he'll come in ask any questions you might have. After he leaves Dr. Conkling will come in and visit with you as well. Sure enough after I had gotten dressed and laid on the bed, the anesthesiologist came in and placed a warm blanket on me and made sure I was comfortable. He asked me a few questions and then asked if I had any for him. On his way out he told me Dr. Conkling would be in in a few minutes and answer any additional questions that I might have about the procedure. About 10 minutes later, Dr. Conkling came in introduced himself, and asked me how my day was going.... He then told me what the process would be, and when he would get back with me if there's any concerns about what he might find. He was very polite and took his time making sure all my questions were answered. Next thing I knew we were in the room with his team, they asked how my day was going... I said something funny about what was going to happen , and they laughed with me. They walked me through putting me under and said It'll be over before you know it. Sure enough what seemed like 5 minutes had actually been 45 minutes and I was back in my room getting dressed. The nurse came in with a wheelchair. She was so polite and asked me if I had any questions for her. She asked me how I was feeling and if I needed to stay a little longer, I could. I was fine and she wheeled me out to my car. Great job to Dr. Conkling and his team. Hope to see you again in another 10 years. I highly recommend this practice! read more

This place was great! I arrived early and was greering upon entering the door even though they were busy! Took my information right away. Minimal paperwork. Got me back and prepped. Dr. Blonsky and the nurses were very personable and accommodating. Procedure and recovery were quick and painless. I was on my way within 2 hours. I have had a colonoscopy and endoscopy about 4 times and every time I have been so impressed with the genuine care the staff and doctor have shown. And the post care is equally outstanding. They explain everything you need to know before the procedure and they also contact you when you get home to make sure everything is okay and answer any questions you may have! it doesn't get any better with these folks! The Tulsa Endoscopy Center has no regard to patient's needs or accommodations, including refusing to even consider patient's who have certified disabilities as defined by the Americans With Disabilities Act, they will not even have a discuss this. When I explained my situation with their staff, I was transferred to 3 different people and received 3 different responses: 1) yes its possible, 2) your physician has to decide that, and 3) No. No. I canceled my procedures as they require a 3 day preparation and after my conversations and experience I have absolutely no confidence in their technical or medical abilities or medical competency. I cancelled my procedures. Thinking that there may have been a misunderstanding, I went to the clinic in person to work through their concerns. The were not Interested, would not discuss any possible solutions. These people of questionable training, refused to even continue to try to come to a solution. They simply repeated their position and refused to provide any medical services and asked me to leave. I was happy to This facility has rude contradicting personnel and will not consider patient's needs. As medical professional and educator for 40 years: THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! It is indicative of an uneducated, unlicensed staff operating outside State, Federal, and Medical requirements. AVOID THIS PLACE 0AR ALL COST... YOUR LIFE ACTUALLY DEPENDS ON IT ..... read more

Just had my second upper and lower scopes with Dr. Nightengale at Tulsa Endo. They are very efficient, but don't make you feel rushed. The front desk person is a MACHINE at getting your paperwork and answering questions from nervous and confused folks. The waiting room is always full, but not SRO. When they called me back, they got right to it, but didn't make me feel rushed. They were a little behind (no pun intended) and seemed to be helping each other to keep things moving. I got to the procedure room about 30 minutes after my appointment time, but I bet that was only 15 minutes late since you would normally have some intake time anyway. They did a good timeout (to verify who I was and what they were going to do) and I got positioned and was out like a light. I woke up in recovery and they got me unhooked and into a wheelchair very efficiently, again without rushing. I was freezing (probably anesthetic reaction) so they got me some warm blankets. I like that they take you to a consult room so you (and your driver, if you wish) can hear your discharge instructions and results and ask questions. This went great with both the nurse and doctor. They then let the driver bring the car to a reserved loading area and wheel you right to the car door. If you need to have a scope, due to age, symptoms or family history, do not be afraid or embarrassed. I'm not that modest, but everyone is very respectful and careful to make you feel comfortable. Your backside isn't that special; the literally see them every day and it's so much easier to catch a polyp than to get treated for cancer. The only suggestion I have for the center is to have more convenient restrooms. It's not their fault, but if you follow the prep instructions exactly, you're probably not done by the time you are supposed to get to the office. I moved mine up an hour this time and was OK. But last time, I had to use the building toilet a couple of times (thankfully, they were open) and once on the way to holding. Overall, this was the best prep and procedure of the half dozen or so I've had. Every so often (like this time), they remove a couple of polyps. I put this off longer than I should have because I was worried about the cost. I've been pleasantly surprised about that, so far, and I'm glad I sucked it up and got it done before the polyps got bad. I'm waiting on the path report, but expect them to be OK. read more

What a great experience for something that at most is uncomfortable. Dr. Blankenship was wonderful. The nurses following up were wonderful. They are prompt beyond belief. In at 8. Out at 8:35. Front office was efficient and professional. Pre- procedure and follow up amazing. Text the same day to see how you are doing. Personal Phone call the day after. Getting a Colonoscopy is the number one way to prevent cancer. Dr. Hills looked for precancerous polyps and removed them. I had three small ones. Much easier to remove any polyps BEFORE they are even an issue! Tulsa Endo is efficient, respectful and thorough. Just do it! read more
