Robyn's Pet Grooming agreed to see them. They have been going regularly now for 1-1/2 years and we are so pleased with their treatment. They respond well to the sweet talk and patience of the staff who have vet tech experience as well as grooming skills. In fact, their groomer helped us determine that one of our cats showed signs of a physical problem. That led to our vet determining that he had developed diabetes and we were able to reverse the weight and muscle loss he was experiencing. The grooming is quick and efficient to minimize their stress, matting is no longer an issue and it's easier for them to keep themselves clean now.

Her coat wound up just chopped - done with scissors! they did not use a clipper - they may not have one or know how to use one. even her ears - one ear was trimmed pointing down at the front of the ear flap. the other ear was pointed the opposite way. dog 2 was only to get a shampoo, nails trimmed and a "sanitary swipe" up the rear end. she is part Pomeranian and had beautiful "feathers" on her tail and back legs especially - the length of all of her rear end feathers were cut about half way off. not all of her nails got cut - the more difficult nails were just left - you could feel the difference between the cut and uncut nails. they had no answer for any of it. i waited a few weeks before contacting them. i didn't want to be angry on the phone.( i did get a bit heated but no name calling. i told them i would contact the chamber of commerce and their small town business association) their response was very aloof and negative . i wanted some money back. nope and they charge top dollar. i took pics but its hard to see specific dings - dog 1 came out looking like she had been groomed months before. avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid - many better options than the Shed in Lafayette Oregon. I kept going because I was fine with their work. The one time a few years back I tried to make a constructive suggestion on the cut I got pushed back. However today was the final straw after 8+plus years I will not go back. When my husband got back from dropping our dog off he said the owner was in a really bad mood. If you knew my husband he does not talk about people in that way. So when we went to get our dog and we got home with her she had not been cut. The hair was hanging in her eyes and clearly you can see her face had not been groomed. Hesitantly I called in to let them know my feelings. Didn't really want to after all these years but it was just that bad. I got a ridiculous response something about how my dog was not allowing her to blow dry her and therefore she could not properly cut her. But we are talking about professional dog groomers and also groomers that have done my dog for a plus years and you're going to tell me you couldn't do her because she wouldn't let you blow dry her? Ridiculous she had an attitude which I knew for sure she would before I even called. Number one if she had a problem and could not groom properly she should have given a discount, she did not. Still paid $80
