George Gastelum, Zachary & Caleb finished painting the full interior of our home today. Their quote was highly competitive and they did a fantastic job - it turned out beautifully. It was a complex project with drywall repairs and 20' ceilings. They protected our surfaces & floors and they cleaned up before they left. Highly recommended! Thanks, guys! read more

Gastelum Painting is the best. I'd put their work against anyone. Met with George back in December and of course he said all the things you want to hear from a contractor. I was leery because of all the horror stories you hear about contractors but George absolutely delivered - above and beyond the expectations he set. I had a few prices and Gastelum was not the cheapest but definitely not the highest. Right about the middle of the road from a cost perspective. But, the service and quality are top notch. The crew (4 guys Monday, including George - 2 guys Tuesday and half day Wednesday) knocked out the job in half the time they committed to AND had the house cleaned up and shiny by mid day Wednesday. Initially, they said they'd be done Friday. Very impressive speed! And the quality, it's amazing how clean the lines are, there's no drips on the walls or drips in the floor. The house looks brand new again after only 2 days! The crew was great and while there was some small talk, they were here to work and they crushed it. Thank you George, Zach, Malik, and James for doing such an amazing job. My wife loves it so that's a huge win for me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gastelum Painting! read more

I needed to have a recently drywalled garage painted. I contacted George because of his good reviews. Based on review photos, his paint jobs looked nice and clean. George offered a good price, and he was very personable. His communication skills are excellent. He was always available when I called and texted him. The day before the project, he made sure to confirm the paint color and sheen that I wanted. It's always nice getting confirmation before a project starts, because it puts myself as the homeowner, at ease knowing that a contractor will show up when they say they will. I've had contractors in the past not show up when they were supposed to, and I'm glad I did not have this experience with George. Like George stated, they were there right at 7:00 a.m., and got straight to prepping the garage so that paint would not get on the garage door and opener, which are new, and to make sure the floor was protected. George primed the walls and ceiling, and then applied two coats of the paint color I wanted. I also wanted the plumbing painted so that it kind of hid where the pipes were. Before, those plumbing pipes were an eyesore, and now they are less noticeable. There was untreated wood exposed in the garage, and George recommended having it primed with wood primer and then painted because the wood kept absorbing the paint. It was an additional charge, but it was not a significant charge. I took his recommendation because I trusted him, and I am glad that I did. The wood looks a lot better and matches with the walls and ceiling. George and his crew finished in about 5 hours. The paint job was very clean, and him and his crew left the area clean as well. The photos I provided show the paint right after they finished painting, which is why you see wet spots in the photos. If you want to hire someone who is reliable, offers a good price, and does a good job, George is your man. It is also a plus that he is a very nice person and is genuine in wanting to make sure that himself and the customer is happy with the work. read more

George was very personable and easy to work with. Of the 5 painters I requested quotes from, he was the only one who broke down the cost by paint vs labor for each room on the spot before he left the estimate visit. He kept his word on how long it would take and no surprise extra costs. Good work at a fair price. I would use George again. read more

We've actually used Gastelum Painting for two different projects - the painting of our kitchen cabinets and fixing and painting our pool deck. When working with a painting contractor, we want punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, clear communication, and tidiness. George and his team are all of those things. From the minute we contacted George, he clearly stated when he would arrive to give an estimate, the date when he would start the job, the time of day when he would arrive, and when completion would be. George hit all of the timelines, and communicated effectively throughout the process. He cleaned up the job site, and locked up when he left. We know that we can count on George for our painting needs. read more

George and his crew were prompt, clean, kind and quick. Would definitely use them again!

My husband and I just had the interior and exterior of our house painted this month. George was very prompt with a response for an estimate and negotiated a price we were both comfortable with. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and that we were getting what we wanted. They were able to start painting right away on the exterior and came back a month later when I was ready for the inside to be painted. The crew was always on time, did quality work, and were very respectful. I am impressed with the clean lines and professionalism. They never complained if we wanted something fixed and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be using them again and have recommended them to our neighbors. read more

Gastelum performed excellent work but for the owner's seeming lack of trust in the details surrounding the project and the client himself. I had to walk around the house to show him 4 French doors stated on the contract itself because he stated there were 3, as an example. This only injects doubt in the client and a stress which needn't be there. I fully expected to write a 5 star review. read more

Pictures really can't capture how great the colors look and the QUALITY of George's work. Every inch of the house (Landmark 3) painted except ceilings and we really had to search to find any needed touch ups during the final inspection of his work. George paints with great care and quality and takes pride in his work looking great. His communication and personality are also great. He also offered honest recommendations when asked and we had some details painted that we didnt originally think about. EXTREMELY PLEASED with his work and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND George if you want a Quality painter with competitive prices. THANKS GEORGE! read more

I have now used this service for three jobs (pool deck power wash, patching, and painting; wood deck repair and painting; master bathroom cabinets refinishing) and I will continue to hire them without hesitation.
