10 STARS - Excellent! Craig and team of CMD Painting (C&D Painting) were absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped me complete several projects to get my home ready to put on the market, and their craftsmanship, efficiency, and flexibility gave me complete peace of mind. They replaced a damaged drywall panel in my bathroom ceiling, handled several other drywall and stucco repairs, and beautifully transformed my kitchen cabinets. After two disappointing experiences with other painting companies--and an attempt to paint the cabinets myself--I was incredibly relieved and grateful when Craig offered to help me finish the project. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and Craig and Walter truly exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend CMD Painting for any painting, drywall, or stucco project. Give them a call--you'll be so glad you did! read more

Review on quote only - Craig was great. Responsive, came out on a short notice and provided us what we felt was a reasonable quote. He took his time to get all necessary measurements. Our project did not transpire to be able to officially work together but based on my experience with Craig and his professionalism, I look forward to working with him in the future. read more

Craig painted our entire house, inside and out, back in 2022... and we were really happy with the work and price. Then, at my request, he came back just last week and painted our kitchen cabinets. I was nervous about the job because I didn't want the cabinets to *look* painted...athey don't. They look as though they came this way. 100% perfect. I'm also going to have Craig do some work for our HOA in the fall. Great guy and staff. Give him a call. read more

I called Craig to do two walls on my condo. He was fast to respond and come over to quote the job. I am very aware how much time it takes to paint interior walls, as I painted the other three with another painter who could t finish my job. Anyway I knew something was up when we talked about the job at hand... two walls- anyone could easily say without measuring how long that would take, and be able to give me a reasonable estimate in the spot. Two days later I received a written quote for $1275-labor only as I had all of the paint!!! This job is no more than 4 hours... for two people that's $160/hour I would have to say that unethical practices are going on here. I didn't use him so I am unable to comment on his work. Good luck! read more

Craig and his crew did an incredible job on our home, they were extremely timely and had excellent communication from the bid to the completion of work. They were also very thorough and cleaned up everything. Our garage door even looks like it's been replaced, they did such a good job painting it. It's been very hard to find quality contractors in the high desert and C & D painting knocked of out of the park! read more

Craig and team painted the interior walls of my 1,330 sq ft condo in palm desert. His estimate was comparable to other estimates received and he did a great job. Unprofessional, inexperienced crew of apprentice painters at best. Total rush job, didn't bother removing switch plates or doors, overpainted onto areas that should have been masked and now I have to repaint myself, didn't paint behind toilets, painted outlet covers and light switches closed. You name it, this company is not to be trusted with anything that requires actual craftsmanship. Maybe they're fine doing the typical production spray, I don't know, but don't expect them to use a brush because they don't have the skill. Then had the nerve to complain about how long the job was taking that they agreed to do for a premium and couldn't finish it RIGHT. Warning sign should have been when foreman said, "The morning before 6 guys say they want to work, but only two show up." That should have been a big red flag. It means you don't have professionals working for you. I've painted my whole life and could have never expected a professional crew to be this bad. Foreman sat in his truck on his phone the whole day while young, inexperienced guys worked and it shows. I spent another 1000 to correct their sloppy work. Zero stars if I could. read more

I called Craig and he was very quick to respond to my request. I was only having one room painted and wasn't sure he would be interested in such a small job. He called me back within one day and gave me a fair quote. He and his 2 painters actually came on a Saturday and showed up right on time. The work was completed in less than a full day to my utmost satisfaction. The painters were very personable, efficient and cleaned up everything after the room was painted.. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you, C & D Painting! read more

Craig with C & D is extremely professional and very experienced. My husband and I wanted to have the interior and parts of the exterior of our painted. Our house was vacant because we were getting ready to list it for sale. We didn't want to list it until the house looked perfect and trying to coordinate the flooring and the painting sometimes can be a little tricky. Craig and his team were able to get the painting done lickety-split so the carpet installers could come in right behind them. The house looks amazing and I am just thrilled. We received an above asking price offer for the house because it looks so good. Thanks Craig we really appreciate your hard work. read more

Our home's exterior was in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. Being pretty new in a remote area, I turned to yelp for reviews. I was pretty confident with the reviews for C&D, so I decided to call for a quote. Craig called me back right away. He came out, measured everything, listened to our concerns, and gave us what I felt was a fair quote. We hired him to make repairs in our stucco (which was cracked badly in multiple locations), paint the entire exterior, trim, doors, and patio. He and his crew arrived exactly as scheduled. They were extremely professional, fast, and they cleaned up behind themselves. Craig made sure we were happy with everything before he left. Our house looks fantastic, and I won't hesitate to call for any of my painting needs in the future. read more

I can't say enough good things about Craig and his team. They were professional, quick, and cost effective, especially on a three-day turnaround. I originally needed one small bedroom and one ceiling painted in preparation for selling a house. I contacted C&D on Sunday and my Yelp message was returned less than two hours later. I explained I needed the project done in less than a week and Craig was able to accommodate--he and his team came out on the next Wednesday. The price quoted was not only reasonable, but also the most inexpensive. When Craig and team came in, they were able to add my kitchen and laundry room to the project on the fly--with two extra rooms, my quote didn't even double. They came in right on time at 10:00 a.m. and were done by 1:00 p.m. There were no drips (on the walls, floor, or furniture), no paint left in the sink, and the edges look amazing. They even worked around my three crazy little dogs. I will definitely be calling C&D for any future painting projects. I am more than thrilled with his team and the work completed. read more

I hired Craig and his team for a drywall repair and I'm really pleased. He was professional and prompt and communicated clearly about when he was available and what he could do.
