But this little toy store is a nice breath of fresh air. It's a smaller store, but it has lots of unique toys for all different ages. We came in here looking for a few small gifts for a school gift exchange and found lots of fun things. My son picked out a magnet toy and my daughter sound some watermelon pink slime. And our 2 year old found a wooden Thomas Train he didn't have. And surprisingly, they had Pokémon cards which my son appreciated. I hope they continue to carry sports and Pokémon cards because it's always fun taking my kids to pick out cards, rather than just buying online. The store manager was super sweet and helped. She explained their exchange policy if a Bruder toy broke and how they'd get the part for free for you. She was also open to suggestions of other toys to carry I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a toy, give them a shot. I'm sure you'll find something. This seems an ideal location, with plenty of free parking and, judging by the flow of pedestrian traffic in and out of this shop on a "Comic Book Wednesday" many customers agree. Hubs declared a large selection of comics, games and collectibles. He proudly emerged over an hour after parking with a smile on his cute nerdy face and a bag filled with reading materials in his hand. He was very surprised and happy that his purchase amount ~$80TL awarded him with a cool graphic novel. Happiness shortly turned to a bit of confusion when he took a moment to peruse his receipt and discovered he had been charged about 4x the amount he should have been for a comic. He checked online to make sure he didn't grab a ltd edition, or special release, and determined he hadn't. I waited while he returned inside. About 10 minutes he reemerged - HAPPY AGAIN! Seems the clerk, Daniel (guessing from the receipt ), didn't catch it and agreed it had been incorrectly priced. He further apologized saying he usually catches the comics over $20 and confirms the customer is aware when they are purchasing a more expensive issue. So Daniel was sorry he missed that completely. Hubs confirmed that he was still ok receiving the free graphic novel and was assured, yes, his purchase amount still qualified for the free novel. The over charge was returned to Hubs and he was happy with the store, Daniel and his customer service. Knowhere G&C has been bookmarked for our future SD road trips. Cheers! "CC"

Shopping center is right in front of Costco, and has Kohl's, plus tons of restaurants and smaller shops. Be in the watch for people doing crazy stuff, because they aren't paying attention. Larger than the Walmart in Escondido, with a slightly different selection. I have to come here when my location is out of stock on something. But they don't carry some of the food that Escondido does, even though they have a larger selection. Lots of self-checkout stations, although they often close a few down to limit the number of people scanning at one time. I had an issue with a coupon on a product not scanning, and the the employee overseeing the self-check was very helpful.

Walmart parking lot employee accused me of throwing trash on the ground in the loading area. This sparked a strange dialog which revealed that he was thinking of saying something to me and blaming me before I even entered the store. After shopping and exiting the store the trash is still there on the ground (see photo). I have never bought popcorn nor was I eating it lol. Why accuse someone of something they didn't do at the entrance of your store? There are many cameras and witnesses. Why not apologize in the beginning instead of saying/pretending that "you did"......? Are employees here like this?
