Petr was responsive to my inquiry via Yelp and Jason, the plumber who came out was such a nice guy and he did a great job with swapping out and re-sealing the pit lid. The first sump pump that was installed unfortunately had an issue with the lighted plug but they came back out to replace it so it's all good now. I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a plumber - he's really one of the nicest plumbers I've met and he'd clearly and patiently answer any questions you may have. Their quote was also competitive. I'd definitely be calling them in the future for my plumbing needs! P.S. if you're unable to reach them at their phone/office number, try messaging them via Yelp. I didn't really have much luck when calling their number but they're always responsive via Yelp/text and would call you back as well.

My go-to plumber was backed up due to everyone needing new water heaters due to flooding. I had never used Dave and Joe's before, but they had great reviews (which I now suspect they're paying a service to provide fake reviews). Joseph installed a used, nonfunctioning water heater. Joseph told me it would be 6 hours before the water would heat and by morning I would have hot water. I thought that sounded like a very long time for the water to heat, but I trusted him because I've never been scammed before. I woke up the next morning to cold water. I had a water mitigation contractor at my home that morning who took a look at the water heater. He asked if I knew the plumber installed a dented, used water heater. I was outraged because I paid Joseph over $6,000 for installation of a water heater that was supposed to be purchased at Home Depot the day of the installation. I had to threaten to call the police to get Joseph to come to my home and replace the water heater. When he was leaving on the second day after installing a second "new" water heater, I asked how long would it take for the water heater to heat up, and he said about 45 minutes. I knew right then and there he had intentionally scammed me the night before. Additionally, he charged me over $6,000 for a water heater. I have since learned the owner has had multiple criminal charges for burglary, domestic abuse and driving while license suspended. This experience has really been eye opening for me. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LET INTO YOUR HOME. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS.

My kitchen sink was draining incredibly slowly, and my previous attempts to fix it just weren't working. From the very first phone call, the team was professional and easy to work with. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, and I was given a courtesy call on the day of service with an estimated arrival time, which ended up being earlier than expected. I really appreciated the heads-up, as it worked out just fine for my schedule. When the plumbers arrived, they were prompt, courteous, and took the time to ask about the issue before assessing the situation. They gave me a reasonable verbal quote and got to work right away, completing the service the same day. I also liked that they accept credit card payments, making the whole process even more convenient. Thanks to Chicago Sewer & Drain, my kitchen sink is back to normal, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Would I hire them again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them? 100%

They are deep and very obvious/noticeable scratches that cannot be fixed without fixing the entire floor in the house, as it's all the same wood and style. I emailed them, called more than 3 times leaving a voicemail and messages with whomever answered the phone. I was told they would let the manager know, but I never received a response from anyone. At that point I figured it wasn't worth it. Then, fast forward to a few weeks, (now 2.5 years later), we find out we had a gas leak. The People's Gas repairmen came quickly and said they were shocked at how loosely the pipes for the water heater were put together! He showed me how he didn't even need a tool to take them apart! In two small twists the pipes were off! So apparently, for 2.5 years, we have had a gas leak and didn't know and are very lucky to be alive at this point. We have a child and have many family members and friends over! We are appalled! So, not only did this company permanently destroy our floor and act extremely unprofessional by totally ignoring us, but they almost killed us due to their negligence! Literally ANY company would be a better choice.

Nathan told me that before I shell out the big bucks to replace them, he could take a look at the current faucets and see if they could be repaired. Nathan quickly reviewed the faucets and explained what needed to be done. An hour later I had two faucets functioning better than they ever have before and he saved me about $900. I now have peace of mind and Connell Plumbing has a lifetime customer.
