Same can be said of Sale Manager Mr Bailey and Crystal of the Service Department. My experience with the service department was extremely frustrating. While my vehicle was in the shop, for the warranty recall, I was informed I needed a new battery and a purge valve replacement, and provided with a price. I opted to replace the battery and advised Ally I would call back in a few short weeks to schedule the purge valve. A few weeks later I made the appt for the purge valve and Ally sent a text with the cost which was 60% higher than what I was quoted. I was advised if I approved the work while the vehicle was in the shop for the warranty repair I would not have been charged the additional labor. This was never explained to me, had I known this I would have likely had the repair done that day. Instead I was put in a position where I was penalized due to lack of transparency. To make matters worse, after questioning the price increase and asking for clarification, I received no response, I then sent a follow-up email to Ally and the service manager, Steve Flores, to which I did not receive a response from either. The lack of communication, and follow-up has been just as disappointing as the pricing inconsistency.

Let me start by saying I am a challenging customer--very particular--and experienced with vehicle sales. Michael and the team at Stevenson-Hendrick Toyota Jacksonville were the ONLY Hendrick dealership within 200 miles of my address that were willing to listen, to slow down, to work the deal, and make Magic Happen! On a scale of one to ten, this dealership goes to Eleven! I'd have the management of this Hendrick Dealership an area trainer! There's something different and unique that Michael M. and the team at Stevenson-Hendrick Toyota Jacksonville are doing; And the rest of the Hendrick automotive dealerships could sure stand to learn from them! One happy customer tells 10 people. One disappointed customer tells 100. This is simple sales 101. Michael and the entire team in New Bern are a near perfect example of this (check my other Hendrick reviews). If you are shopping Hendrick, I'd go straight to New Bern and ask for Michael M! You'll drive away happy, and ready to roll!

But we did get a 2019 Ram 1500. And had an issue with the truck miss firing and it happened within the first 30days and they refused to fix the issue, even though it was clearly supposed to be covered under the 30 day warranty. Instead they wanted to charge us $981 to replace the plugs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Every time I've been to this dealership it's been a horrible experience, should have done like we did last time and just left without buying anything from them.

Decided to take to a mechanic and chose C-Side based on high customer reviews. They were pretty busy when I arrived and I did not have an appointment, so I waited for a bit while they diagnosed my issue. During that wait here is what I observed: 1. I watched a young lady come into the shop explaining she thought she needed to replace all four of her tires. Mechanic went outside and examined her car and came back and told her that her rear tires were in great shape but front tires were badly worn. He explained why there was a difference in wear between front and rear tires (not rotating them and her car was FWD). Then showed her options that made sense for her situation. He could have easily sold her four new tires costing her hundreds more. 2. I observed a customer who had already dripped his jeep off at C-Side and had an initial repair estimate of over $1700, come in and be told that once they tore down his clutch (or maybe his transmission) they were able to determine they did not need to replace some of the parts they thought they needed to. Instead of 1700+ dollars he paid a little over 600. 3. i watched how the manager communicated with his mechanics, this man seemed to have situational awareness on every pending job in the shop and was extremely efficient at managing their time and resources. I was really impressed at his active engagement. There is a good chemistry on that team. 4. For my own vehicle, they isolated the issue (cracked hose) and had it repaired pretty quick. They smoke tested a second time just to be sure. From start to finish, me dropping off on a busy day with no appointment, was about 4 hours. A nice little touch, when I was driving over there, my tire pressure sensor came on. When I left I noticed they had put air in my tires. I never mentioned or asked them to do this, they just did. Little things like that matter. All in all, these folks are honest, thorough, and efficient. You really don't see this kind of auto repair service at many places, especially around here. They earned my trust and my future business.

Working with OCM, and with Gary, was great. The price was fair, the trade in for my old vehicle was more than fair. I would highly recommend them. That said, when you make your purchase, pay cash or arrange your own financing. I was under the impression OCM had in-house financing; they do not. The financing goes through a sleazy, sketchy, dishonest outfit called Lendmark Finance. This is a cheap, storefront "payday loan" company. These people lied to me left and right. The application was done on a "docu-sign" program where you click to sign. I was told I would get hard copies, but those only came by email later. On one screen, the woman said, "This is so you can pay online." When I looked at the hard copies later, I realized what I had "signed" for was some worthless Autoplus service that cost $600! And somewhere along the way, I evidently "signed" for Involuntary Unemployment Insurance. I would definitely not have knowingly purchased this because most of my income is from retirement, not current employment. Page after page, lie after lie! If, for whatever reason, you must deal with Lendmark, DO NOT USE THE DOCU-SIGN PROCESS!! Insist on paper copies, sign only the paper copies, and read EVERY SINGLE WORD of what you are signing! As I said, I loved working with OCM. But, unfortunately, we are often known by the company we keep. And Onslow County Motors, in Lendmark Finance, you are running with some very, very sleazy company.

He was extremely accommodating during this hectic time. He explained to my my wife what to expect in the aftermath of the accident. He then offered to conduct the repairs on her vehicle if she wanted in addition to taking time to explain that she could have her vehicle taken to ANY other vehicle repair shop in town. We chose Cox Motor Co. They were professional in every sense of the word. A trait not often found in this city. Cox kept us informed of the status of the repairs and always inquired as to the status of my wife and son (who was also in the car). After all the repairs were completed they took the time to inform us that they were responsible for repairing any accident-related problems that may arise in the future. Providing us with additional piece-of-mind as we left with our fully repaired vehicle. Their garage looks like a Volkswagen museum. It was nice walking through to see the progression of the Beetle brand.

Robbie was true to his word and communicative as he worked to resolve the issue. I am very grateful for Robbie's help in resolving the issue. Buyer BEWARE. After purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, it lost all power and required being towed to the dealership within 2.5 months of purchasing it. Upon having the vehicle towed, the service department did not confirm receipt of the vehicle and was unreachable by phone. After weeks of having the vehicle, the service department provided minimal communication. After following up numerous times we were provided multiple reports of conflicting information of what was wrong with the vehicle. When we asked to speak with management, management was "in a meeting" and did not return our call. After following up again, we were told by a service representative to come to the dealership to have a meeting with service and sales to discuss trading the car in or the dealership buying the vehicle back. Upon arriving to the meeting, management was unaware of the meeting we were asked there for. The service manager shared incorrect information about what had been done to diagnose the problem and was corrected by the service representative, and at multiple points conflicted information that had been previously been shared. Ultimately, the service manager was unable to give a plan for diagnosis or timeline for repair. We then met with the Vice President of Operations after asking to return the vehicle. The Vice President asked to "earn our trust back" and promised to "communicate with us every step of the way," and call us within two days with a solution or update. No communication has been received - silence. The vehicle has been in the shop for over a month at this point. This does not appear to be a one off situation with this dealership. If you look through the reviews, you will find a review from Qubanae Hudson, that is disturbingly similar to my experience. Do not ignore the concerning reviews of this establishment. Less than 40 days. That should never happen with a vehicle you just purchased. (Used or New) I've been dealing with Tony Farrior. From the beginning I told him I didn't want the vehicle anymore because of the issues. Instead of actually fixing the situation, I kept getting told "I'm working on it" or "tell me what you want and we'll make it happen." But every time I follow up, it's something different. Either no response at all, or now I suddenly "need a co-signer because of the price," or they "need something else" from me. Why are we talking about co-signers and new terms when the real issue is that the car broke down in under 40 days? Robbie Yates was very nonchalant. He continued to ask me "what's wrong now." He spoke with an attitude and didn't care to hear what I had to say as the customer. It feels like I'm being pushed into another deal instead of them taking responsibility for selling me a vehicle that couldn't even last two months without major problems.
