On February 13 (Friday the 13th), my wife's car was hit by a driver who ran a STOP sign. Requiring a tow truck my insurance company called Cox Motor Co. Micky, from Cox, came to tow her vehicle. He was extremely accommodating during this hectic time. He explained to my my wife what to expect in the aftermath of the accident. He then offered to conduct the repairs on her vehicle if she wanted in addition to taking time to explain that she could have her vehicle taken to ANY other vehicle repair shop in town. We chose Cox Motor Co. They were professional in every sense of the word. A trait not often found in this city. Cox kept us informed of the status of the repairs and always inquired as to the status of my wife and son (who was also in the car). After all the repairs were completed they took the time to inform us that they were responsible for repairing any accident-related problems that may arise in the future. Providing us with additional piece-of-mind as we left with our fully repaired vehicle. Their garage looks like a Volkswagen museum. It was nice walking through to see the progression of the Beetle brand.

We spent several hours with all of them due to forgetting we had a lock on our credit. They were very patient and accommodating through the entire process. Working with OCM, and with Gary, was great. The price was fair, the trade in for my old vehicle was more than fair. I would highly recommend them. That said, when you make your purchase, pay cash or arrange your own financing. I was under the impression OCM had in-house financing; they do not. The financing goes through a sleazy, sketchy, dishonest outfit called Lendmark Finance. This is a cheap, storefront "payday loan" company. These people lied to me left and right. The application was done on a "docu-sign" program where you click to sign. I was told I would get hard copies, but those only came by email later. On one screen, the woman said, "This is so you can pay online." When I looked at the hard copies later, I realized what I had "signed" for was some worthless Autoplus service that cost $600! And somewhere along the way, I evidently "signed" for Involuntary Unemployment Insurance. I would definitely not have knowingly purchased this because most of my income is from retirement, not current employment. Page after page, lie after lie! If, for whatever reason, you must deal with Lendmark, DO NOT USE THE DOCU-SIGN PROCESS!! Insist on paper copies, sign only the paper copies, and read EVERY SINGLE WORD of what you are signing! As I said, I loved working with OCM. But, unfortunately, we are often known by the company we keep. And Onslow County Motors, in Lendmark Finance, you are running with some very, very sleazy company.

Michael and the team at Stevenson-Hendrick Toyota Jacksonville were the ONLY Hendrick dealership within 200 miles of my address that were willing to listen, to slow down, to work the deal, and make Magic Happen! On a scale of one to ten, this dealership goes to Eleven! I'd have the management of this Hendrick Dealership an area trainer! There's something different and unique that Michael M. and the team at Stevenson-Hendrick Toyota Jacksonville are doing; And the rest of the Hendrick automotive dealerships could sure stand to learn from them! One happy customer tells 10 people. One disappointed customer tells 100. This is simple sales 101. It took some time for them to get it, but Brandon kept us informed all the way. We had some trouble with the multimedia touch screen. We were not able to create an account to get it working. Brandon connected us with an expert at Toyota who was able to sort it all out. I highly recommend this dealership as they provided us with excellent customer service and I especially appreciate Brandon for going the extra mile, making sure that we were happy with our purchase.

My experience with the service department was extremely frustrating. While my vehicle was in the shop, for the warranty recall, I was informed I needed a new battery and a purge valve replacement, and provided with a price. I opted to replace the battery and advised Ally I would call back in a few short weeks to schedule the purge valve. A few weeks later I made the appt for the purge valve and Ally sent a text with the cost which was 60% higher than what I was quoted. I was advised if I approved the work while the vehicle was in the shop for the warranty repair I would not have been charged the additional labor. This was never explained to me, had I known this I would have likely had the repair done that day. Instead I was put in a position where I was penalized due to lack of transparency. To make matters worse, after questioning the price increase and asking for clarification, I received no response, I then sent a follow-up email to Ally and the service manager, Steve Flores, to which I did not receive a response from either. The lack of communication, and follow-up has been just as disappointing as the pricing inconsistency.

    Absolute disaster, bought a brand new Silverado from them a couple months ago. It's my first "new"…read morepurchase. Sold my older vehicle due to chronic AC issues and reliability. I bought a brand new 2026 mid trim level package. The salesmen and most the immediate staff were actually terrific. But fast forward a couple days I notice quality defects in the structure of the cabin. No big deal, they said they'd cover it. Still holding a great attitude. Takes them weeks to get me in and when they do service the truck the defect remained. I had to rebook an appointment and wait. During the wait, the AC went out a week after driving it home. Still the staff worked with me and I harnessed my frustration but upon fixing the AC they gave me back the truck with tears in the headliner and additional structural defects. Okay fast forward a couple weeks of fixes and common administrative headaches, I got a check engine light, glitches in my display, and the microphone went out for calls and OnStar. I've visited the dealer 10+ times within a month. It's been an awful experience and waste of time. To wrap this up, I took these issues to upper management at the dealer and GM to discuss potential lemon law criteria, or options to get any sort of value back. Given this is all covered under warranty with new vehicles the loss of faith in Chevy, embarrassment and regret of purchasing from this dealer remained. After voicing my concerns managment made arrangements and benefits to compensate for the ridiculous experience. Initially both managers attempted to dilute and redirect my concerns and offer the bare minimum. Upon coming to a gentleman's agreement of an extended warranty they made false promises and dropped all agreed fixes weeks later and resulted in offering rewards points like some coffee shop. All the while giving retaliative condescending attitudes like I owe them something. I get a dealer doesn't really take responsibility for how a truck comes off the delivery but man, avoid top leadership here. Just go to Willmington and save the games. Or Toyota.

    TL;DR -quoted 1800 for clutch…read more-Service advisor realised a mistake but didnt call back even after I called. -new quote is 4k for clutch -tech claimed he tightened lines to slave cylinder but it was found loose and leaking by another shop. Military. Brought in a 2006 Honda Civic Si to look over some work a previous shop did for clutch not coming back up and the shop not using OEM parts like they told me. Dealer quoted 165.00 for inspection of clutch system and an additional 165 for AC issue. Tech determined the slave cylinder was empty, which was the original issue i had corrected and claimed the previous shop didnt bleed system. Car had been driven 3000 miles from Chicago to here since repair with no issues until recently. Tech replaces slave cylinder with OEM cylinder and then claims it didnt fix the issue. Service advisor quotes me 1800 for clutch and throw out bearing. I sit on it for a day and call back the following day and speak with a different advisor and she says the quote for a new clutch is 4k, 2200 more than the day before. Aside from that being outrageous even with mark ups, I wait to speak with the original service advisor while a note was left at her desk for her to call me. Following morning comes and goes and i go to the dealer to get my car back after being quoted by a transmission shop 3100 to replace the clutch AND master cylinder. SA says she saw the note but was busy and didnt call me back by 130pm. I pay the 650, ridiculous, and have the car towed to a shop. The transmission shop puts it on a lift and immediately notices the lines coming from the slave cylinder are leaking due to not being secured. I call the dealer back and ask how they determined the clutch was bad if the slave cylinder was leaking fluid and he said he tightened down the bolts. So I ask how they became loose after sitting in the dealer parking lot overnight. To which he had no response. Mind you, this is the 3rd slave cylinder that has been leaking and I gave him the back story. Never going to this dealer for anything or any reason. I might go out of my way not to even drive past it.
