I am not local so flew into town to get my teeth evaluated + my gums grafted.....he proved to totally be worth the effort as the level of care he provided truly is exceptional. I've gotten multiple gum grafts previously from three other periodontists. Dr. Do's work not only provided the most coverage, but it held up the best and he was able to gain a teeny bit of height!! My previous understanding is that it was impossible to gain and maintain increased gum height. It was a lengthy procedure as Dr. Do took on the challenge of performing the graft on the lingual side (challenging angle to see in the first place) and I had scar tissue that made it harder to graft. During this time, Dr. Do was laser focused, maintained communication so I was aware of what he was working on, and checked in through out to ensure I was not in pain or didn't need a break. I cannot recommend Dr. Do enough and only wish I had someone like him for all my other medical needs!

I had all uppers taken out about 5 months ago as over a long time, extensive bridgework was failing. My regular Dentist is fine for the 'normal stuff,' and he had recommended the Oral Surgeon who did removal. Afterwards, neither gave me much confidence in their expertise when my gums did not seem to be healing. Quite frankly, the whole process was way more invasive and slow healing than I anticipated. After research, I made an appointment with Dr. Ho....he emailed me necessary medical history type, was quite amenable when I screwed that up a bit. Appointment was very solid, both he and his assistant were great. They actually listened while I conveyed my 'story.' He did a very comprehensive exam, took a large # of photos and took a lot of time in explaining his findings. He also gave me some small 'cleaning utensil' type brushes to help in daily brushing. He said the whole process can take a year before the gums, jaw etc. are fully functional....and I was progressing nicely. I came away feeling like all my questions and worries were addressed...that was very important. Also, and equally important, he (and his assistant) were quite diligent, took time, and both seem like very nice people. Highest Recommendation, No Doubt.

My mouth has never been an easy one, yet he was totally competent and capable. His office staff were always kind and professional. If there is a downside to seeing this doctor, it is indeed that he is expensive. Unfortunately one has to pay to see the best. The second downside is that he has too many patients. What this means for you is that you must book appointments months in advance. It's at least 4-6 weeks in between each appointment. It slowed things down more than I wanted to, but again chose him because of the referrals I was given to him. He is the best in town.

Later I called my insurance and found out they were out of network, I asked twice before my visit if my insurance would cover, I was misled to believe that it would and there would be no charges at the time of the visit. It extremely frustrating to be surprised with a bill after you are seen. What if I didn't have money to pay the visit? Be sure to ask if they are in network because the staff will lead you to believe they are.

I'm usually afraid to go to the dentist but he really is just the nicest! I was in and out pretty fast. Dr. even texted me to check in and made sure I knew he was available if I had any questions. Not to mention, everyone in the office is super kind. I remember that the pain wasn't bad, however the bottom right of my lip is still numb today. I texted Dr. Koshgerian about it & was set up for a follow up a week or so later. Came in for a quick visit and he reassured me that it was normal (it is a risk of removal after all) and hopefully, I'd regain the feeling in a couple months! I'm hopeful that it will. I was informed of an unexpected diagnosis and was strongly encouraged to begin light therapy and additional treatments due to my lack of self hegeine and receding gum. The urgency and manner in which these services were presented felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine medical recommendation. It was clear that the focus had shifted from preventive care to aggressive upselling. Concerned by the sudden change in my treatment plan and unsure of the validity of their recommendations, I decided to seek a second opinion at a different dental office. The feedback I received there was completely different -- there was no indication of the issues previously mentioned, and none of the suggested treatments were deemed necessary. Another point worth noting: while patients are warned they will be charged for missing an appointment, the same level of accountability doesn't seem to apply to the office -- I waited nearly 30 minutes past my scheduled time many times before being seen. That lack of consideration, combined with questionable treatment practices, was enough to lose my trust. I will not be returning to this office. I encourage anyone considering treatment here to always get a second opinion before agreeing to any additional procedures. Be cautious of high-pressure tactics disguised as urgent care. Your health -- and your peace of mind -- deserve better.
