On September 11,2018 we contacted Ken Wolfson to help us with our 2 bathroom remodel and some…read moredesign/decor ideas. We have been in our house (1329 sq ft) 19 years and wanted to update it and make it stylish. By his yelp reviews and being listed as one of the top 10 designers in Las Vegas in Houzz magazine; we decided on Ken Wolfson Design. From Sept 11 2018 until just before Christmas we were stuck in the Ken Wolfson tornado of bull crap. He's the man of a thousand designs. Never lands the plane! Constantly rescheduling appointments at the last minute. Inconveniencing us constantly. His designs were ridiculous. At one point he wanted to put a urinal in the master bathroom. At another point he wanted to shrink the master bedroom to 11 x 9, saying Las Vegas put too much Importance on large master bedrooms. He quoted us a crazy low amount for everything, construction, furniture ... he was working with"Fresh Design" at the time but they got into a tiff and stopped working together. Ken then told us he has a new contractor "ABC Contracting" we looked them up at the Better Business Bureau and at the NV State Contractors Board, but they weren't listed. Turns out they are a California licensed co. We found that out on our own because he refused to return our calls when we asked about ABC's license. He continuously danced around licensing questions and at one point asked us to get the permits in our name. That is very unethical. In mid December he showed up at our home in a panic and sweating. He thought we had called the NV State contractors board on him for impersonating a licensed contractor. He said he was certain he was going to be arrested as soon as he walked in our house. We calmed him down and assured him we did nothing of the sort. Honestly he was acting paranoid, in a panic and sweating profusely. I'm really wondering what was really going on with him. After he left I told my husband that Ken Wolfson is no longer allowed in our home. So Ken Wolfson provided many floorplans and designs but nothing that was legitimate. Construction never began. His price quote was about three times under what it should've been. Basically he drew a bunch of pictures did a lot of fast talking made $5000 for the deposit. Sadly we feel like we got a cheap because he could've destroyed our house and then left. My advice stay way far away from Ken Wolfson design and his partner "Greg" is just as shady as he is. There are so many other details I haven't shared. I should have given this review a year ago but It's so frustrating and embarrassing to see how gullible we were.

My husband found Anna through a Google search. After reviewing and looking through the portfolios…read moreof a lot of different interior designers, he definitely liked Anna's more clean, modern style of taste. We had just built a dream home and wanted to make sure that we furnished it like a model home. We don't live in town and Anna was able to work with our situation and schedule. From our first meeting, she had a good idea of what kind of taste/feel we wanted for our home and she put together a design proposal and we worked from there. My husband says that she is one of the best investments he's ever made! Her price is very reasonable and the time she saved us by finding everything we needed is well worth it. If something was delivered with scratches or problems, she got them replaced or fixed. One of the best moments was coming home to the house after we had been out of town for a few weeks and it was furnished and accessorized like a model home! It was such a great experience coming home to a home like that! She dealt with everyone and saved us the time to discuss price and details for window coverings, wall coverings, backsplashes, graphic design, wine cellar, lighting (everyone who has visited our house has commented and love our lighting/fixtures), electrical, installation, S&H etc. Having to do that on your own is a full-time job in itself and who knows what the outcome/look would have been. Hiring a professional has been indeed a great investment to say the least. Anna is professional, communicative, diligent and great to work with. Highly recommend.

Each bedroom was personally tailored to reflect our energy, experiences and personality. Every room was enhanced by Anna's modern and artistically designed lighting fixtures and custom built furniture. The Game room is a Star Wars theme, based on my son's passion of the epic series. This room came together for a unique, artistic and timeless feel. The walls and ceiling were hand painted for an industrial look, offering the perfect palette for the Star Wars room design. The individual constellations on the ceiling, lighting and furniture all accented an authentic Star Wars theme. The artwork and light sabers brought the science fiction theme to life throughout the room. My daughter's playroom was specifically designed by her love of Disney's Little Mermaid theme. Anna designed this room with eloquence and playfulness in one setting. The balance of artistic hand painted walls of the ocean and underwater sea life while capturing beautiful bubble and submarine like lighting. My daughter adores this room! Finally, my office and master bedroom was designed personally for me in a masculine and modern theme. I had ideas that Anna brought to a reality by designing a stoic custom door for more privacy and installing a stylish fireplace for a relaxing feel. Her expertise, professionalism and sincere communication made this process and a wonderful and engaging experience. I would highly recommend Noble Designs for any interior design project you have ever dreamed of to become a reality!

If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and responsive general contractor that gives great…read morevalue for your money, look no further. For my kitchen and bath remodel project, I called 12 different contractors and got estimates from 5. GI Construction not only had a competitive bid, Isaac's bid was more comprehensive than any other, including critically important dependent work that no other contractor discovered while making an estimate. For example, since I wanted to completely redo the master bath shower, stripped down to the sub-floor and studs, Isaac pointed out that the floor tile for the entire bathroom ought to be replaced also and explained why. No other contractor noticed that and left me thinking I could keep my existing flooring. When you hire a general contractor, you are also hiring their network of sub-contractors and skilled craftsmen. GI Construction has a solid network and I was particularly impressed with the interior paint job, the tile installation for the shower, and the cutting and fitting of the granite counter-tops in the kitchen. Everyone did a good job, from site prep to clean-up at the end. Some craftsmen worked into the evening or weekend to make sure the work was done right and looked great. Valentin is the production lead on site and made sure everything went smoothly. Valentin is super responsive and collaborative and worked with me through every construction decision, large and small. Valentin has been in the business for a long time and knows what works and what doesn't. You can trust him when he gives you the best option for a fix or change in the plan, and you can sleep easy at night knowing that Valentin is running your project. Note that GI Construction is not an "all inclusive" contractor with an in-house design department that literally does everything for you, including selecting and procuring materials and fixtures. You provide the design and materials, and GI Construction does the construction, installation, and finishing. You'll get plenty of advice from Isaac and Valentin on how to find and buy materials, like if you have no idea what a Schluter is or where to buy one, so don't worry about that. Just be prepared to do some legwork and shopping once the contract is signed. On the plus side, this means that every decision about color, composition and style will be completely under your control.

What a disappointing experience, based on seeing what other people's experiences have been…read more We took a vintage mid century art deco clock in for framing, and spoke directly with the owner. We met with him for a long period, as we were very specific about what we wanted, which was actually a very simple design, but didn't want the clock itself altered and for it to be operable. He told me they'd need 6 weeks for the job, and that he'd be out of town, but his daughter would handle it. We left a substantial deposit for half the cost. Cut to about 6 weeks later and my wife goes to the shop when we're told it's ready. Her dealings were with the daughter, whom we hadn't met before. The frame and matting itself are very nice. However, the clock within is, first, not centered. The daughter denies this, insisting it's centered, until my wife insists she check using a tape measure, and it's off center by nearly two inches (the clock is only 13" diameter). Whoops. Second, the clock, which is circular/sundial shaped, does not have numerals, but markers. It is not lined up with the 12 o'clock position at the top. The daughter argues that it can't be hung with the 12 o'clock position straight up, because it is off-center of the hanging hole on the back of the clock. Now understand, these are things we discussed with her father, extensively. It's an important piece to us, and we told him price was not a problem, we just wanted it done correctly, securely and to look nice. We discussed using clear acrylic braces from behind to support the clock, or something similar, as we understand a circular piece is difficult. We thought he understood. His daughter clearly didn't, and she stated it couldn't be done, and that the hole on the back of the clock intended for hanging was off center for the clock's 12 o'clock position (no, it's not). However, she told my wife she would fix it to our satisfaction. We chose to give her a second chance. A couple weeks pass and we get the call that it's done. My wife returns to the shop to find that all that was done is that it has now been centered, nothing else, which the daughter admits. She states that securing the clock with 12 o'clock in the, well, 12 o'clock position is impossible. My wife asks for the refund of our deposit and the return of the clock. The daughter argues that substantial time and resources were used, to which my wife counters that she did not complete the work we asked for to our satisfaction. Ultimately, the refund is given. The daughter says it will be a week before she can get the clock removed. It didn't take a week, she called the very next day saying it was ready to pick up. When my wife arrived to pick up the clock, the daughter wouldn't even stand up from the desk, pointing to the clock nearby and saying "it's there". For some reason, this lady, the daughter, decided this was personal, and as such, she treated my wife very poorly. Her customer service was horrendous, her attitude was very nasty and she earned every line of this poor review. Our experience with people involved with framing art is that they have some degree of creativity and enjoy the challenge of something they haven't experienced before. That wasn't what we found here. When they told us something couldn't be done, we ourselves came up with several possible solutions, which were acknowledged but never acted upon. So we will look elsewhere, confident in other artistic minds in Las Vegas.
