It is a really good place to go in the afternoon the pizza is the best in the town and if you go you got to go to roll play and play the game there with a bubble tea

We were here for the Dane County indoor farmers market at Garver. Lots going on! Their whole first floor event space was filled with vendors, mostly bakery items, honey, some produce, etc. I think this is a good space for it, however it was very crowded. It's nice how Garver has super tall ceilings and a second floor space that frames the first floor. It was cool to be able to walk upstairs and check out the many businesses at Garver. I have my eye on the Kosa Spa and Perennial Yoga. Very cool space with awesome local businesses! Note, the parking lot isn't big enough to accommodate events like this. We ended up parking over at Olbrich Gardens. It's nice they have a path from the Olrbich parking lot over to Garver.

What a cool spot! When I walked in here, I thought I was in the Milwaukee public market (but not as crowded). I was dazzled by the sheer number of options available in one spot from coffee to cocktails to ice cream to pizza. But there's also things to do from yoga to a spa to board games, and even event hosting! In addition to the spacious interior, I enjoy the patio area as well which is just as spacious and perfect for enjoying the weather outside. If you get a chance, I highly recommend trying Ian's pizza, which I have covered in a different review.

The Garver Feed Mill is a shopping center in Madison, Wisconsin that my husband and I got to visit recently. The Garver Feed Mill was originally constructed as a sugar beet processing facility in 1906. It was in operation as a sugar beet processing facility until 1924. This facility houses the Garver Lounge, Ian's Pizza, Ledger Coffee Roasters, Roll Play Madison, Calliope Ice Cream, and many other businesses. They also host private events here. When we went, there was a wedding reception taking place, so we weren't able to see the entire shopping center. With businesses this eclectic, everyone will find something they like. I highly recommend the Garver Feed Mill!

I was there on a weekday evening. I got a parking spot right away. There was live music on the patio. There were some nice chairs outside, and some seat inside. I tried 3 slices of pizza from Ian's pizza - All the veg, mac n cheese, and chicken and pasta. Calliope was an interesting ice cream places with very interesting flavors. I tried 3 flavors - lemon lavendar, kale smoothie and summer tomato. Last 2 were the wierd flavors. But I liked most of that. Roll play was another very interesting food place. May be I should try it the next time.

This place is the bees knees for any day, any hour, any event or if you're just super bored. Was craving a slice of pizza and a beer tonight so stopped in to find most of the place to myself and a welcome seat at the bar. $13.00 for a slice, a breadstick, and a beer. Just noticed they have brunch on Saturdays. Guess I'll be coming back soon for a nice espresso from Ledger and brunch at the Lounge. Will report back on Brunch.

Garner is a beautiful space and they've been so innovative on event here. It is 2 levels with the first being a large open space which you're able to transform in any way. I feel like your imagination could run wild here! There are surrounding tenants on the first floor like Surya Cafe and Ian's and a coffee shop. There's also a second floor with individual tenants of different local businesses. I love the high ceilings and the exposed brick and large windows/doors for nice lighting. If you need catering, Garver also has their own catering services to use -- unsure if you can use outside catering but would be good to know! There's also it's own parking lot which has some parking available but be sure to watch for signs for the one ways and look for street parking as well. From my interactions this space seems great for displays, farmers markets, and I could see it as a beautiful space for weddings!

Garver Feed Mill is Located on Madison's near East Side, nestled behind Olbrich Gardens. It's a neat old building that was converted from a feed mill into a multi use building. We had a few drinks at the bar and then had pizza and salad from Ian's pizza. They did have live jazz outside at the front entrance.

Someone greeted us with tea after we got changed, and we waited in the lounge until our appointment time. While the lounge was comfortable and really nicely appointed, I don't think that I would pay an add--on cost to extend my time in the space. The steam and hot saunas were really nice, and I liked that you can reserve it to use privately. An hour is quite long. It would be great if they had a 45 minute price option. This is super specific, but it seemed strange they didn't have handles on both sides of the doors in the steam sauna. While I knew this when booking. I was very surprised that the rate per person is the same for using the space. If you are reserving it for a set time, there should be a discounted rate for additional people. We were glad we went, but I think they could definitely make it more affordable for couples or groups while still charging extra for the cleaning and washing of the additional towels and robes.

The environment is too sterile and bright to really relax, there's no real walls that go up all the way in the space so it's hard to have a silent moment. The food they offer is bird food or microwaved handmade food that's overpriced, the chai is from a packet, the sanctuary again isn't set up to lounge your options are a chair, the floor, or maybe a swing chair. The steam room never got hot, and the sauna was just ok. Also if you arrive early prepare to be board or not offered to wait inside. Just not worth the money at all.

The massage table was not very comfortable. I booked a hot stone massage. I got a 60 min massage that I had to do face down and only got my back and legs done. I had to say several times that what he was doing to my legs was very uncomfortable. I got a trigger point massage (which was OK but not what I booked) The back massage was good. My experiences at Indulge Spa have been excellent, thanks to Greg…read more Greg is a truly extraordinary massage therapist. I am still trying to understand how it is that his way of doing massage works so marvelously well. Part of it, upon reflection, must be due to his seemingly endless reserves of stamina, and even more so, to his robust and unwavering strength. Because he does not struggle, at any time, to do the work, because he does not tire, does not weaken, he can apply whatever needs to be done with his unique, gentle precision. I've had clinicians struggle with their hands, knuckles, fingertips, even use their elbows, and so on, and when that happens, they lose the feel for the work, and the massage is rather less effective. Bruises occur as a side-effect, as well, which brings me to another thing I don't understand about Greg: His gentleness. Greg has a way of releasing the tension in the body with no sense whatsoever of drama. I do not experience a flutter or a fight, or really almost anything, except the awareness that, in a matter of a dozen seconds, my aching, clenched muscle has relaxed, has been set free of the prison it set for itself. I leave with less stress, physical and emotional, and I sleep far better (as reflected in my overnight HRV readings, as well), and I function with greater patience and clarity the next day, during which I also find that I am not bruised or even tender anywhere. I am, simply, more myself, because I no longer carry the unwanted tension I was burdened with for so long, tension that curtailed some substantial portion of my thoughts and my feelings. I think I may have repeated myself; I think that Greg's strength is one key to his gentleness. While others do everything they can to be strong enough, Greg is already far more than strong enough, so he can focus instead on being gently effective. The remarkable thing is, is that he does focus on exactly that, and that through such means he performs his work so very, very well. Greg's compassion is extraordinary, even among massage therapists. What further surprised me is that his acumen in the realm of anatomy not only informed his massage, but that Greg uses his knowledge to enhance my kinesthetic awareness, discussing with me some of the things I could do differently that might help. Greg's mastery of physical form and function is greater than that of any physical therapist I have worked with, and I've had a few good ones. Here, too, Greg is helping me, even outside of the clinic, to live my life more as I wish to be able to. Greg is a dedicated and gifted massage therapist, and much more, besides. I'd follow him anywhere, because a genuinely great massage therapist is hard to find -- I've looked.

We enjoyed the bath ritual, the outdoor hot tub, and the indoor hot soak tub. The bath ritual hot tub could have been a little warmer. There were hardly any quiet spaces in the spa areas and no one enforced keeping spaces quiet and tranquil despite the signs everywhere. For such an expensive resort, there were some things that really surprised us. Most of the staff were friendly, but it wasn't the caliber of customer service we were expecting. Our room was just ok. We liked the high ceilings, the comfy sitting area, the bed, Kohler shower, and the fireplace. A light flickered next to the bed, preventing us from reading in bed because we had to keep it turned off. The bathroom didn't have nearly enough hooks for suits and robes. The bathroom felt tired and didn't seem very clean. There was even a plastic wrapper on the shower floor. The toilet paper quality was surprisingly poor. The magnifying mirror wouldn't stay in place, and the hairdryer barely worked. This was unacceptable at these prices per night. We had fun, but it was very expensive for the quality of the experience.
