This place has it all, amazing food, when you get a filet cooked to the correct temperature and you can cut it with a fork you know this is dining excellence. Add a giant baked potato. Wife had a chicken dish that was both favorable and tender, as it was a birthday they comped one of the desserts. Service was great and the quiet ambiance of the restaurant topped it all off. My only request this year was a nice dinner and I don't want to cook or clean up the mess. Well- I didn't have to cook or clean. So 2 out of 3 isn't bad. This was a lesson ON : just because it's expensive doesn't make it better. Didn't have high hopes when he told me this was where we were going. Nothing sounded appealing on the menu. Whatever happened to normal options? It's an Ala carte type deal. So the $34 queens cut prime rib is what the cost is for the piece of meat- no sides etc. NOW I am quite the prime rib aficionado- I am still looking for a place that serves it as well or better than I can make because mine is fabulous. Lol Prime rib: 3 stars not seasoned well and not a great quality beef. Was a little tough to cut through. Cooked a little more than medium rare as ordered. Served with a couple tablespoons of aujus and horseradish. I want a damn bowl of aujus!! That was actually really nice- but I love a bunch with my cut Baked potato: 4 stars huge potato. Nicely cooked. (I can always tell ones that are microwaved) the one star removed is for the small amount of toppings. Maybe a tablespoon of sour cream piped over top. There was some cheese in there, not much. a little butter. And this GOD AWFUL smoked ham or something. Definitely was not bacon. It was horrible. The over powering smoke flavor ruined the potato flavor. I had to pick it out and deal with the faint taste remaining . Waited and waited for someone to look our way to ask for more sour cream & butter. My potato was barely warm when I got the butter etc, the butter she brought was COLD. Butter for bread and toppings should be room temperature. OH and no salt and pepper on the table to season my potato with. Had to ask for that too. You can see the weird shakers behind the aujus & horseradish in that picture. Mushrooms & onions: 2 stars gross. The mushrooms were spongey. Some onions were caramelized some were still Al dente. But the flavor is something I can't describe. Almost a smoke flavor. It was not good and I sent it back. Bread rolls: 2 stars strong onion flavor. Has the texture of brioche - which is soft on inside but the crust has a slight chewy texture. The flavor was very much like the onion rolls you would eat a roast beef sandwich. Anyway. It was not for me at all. My hubby had Mac & cheese. There was cheese on top but hardly any mixed in the pasta. Pasta was cooked perfectly. But the flavor just was not there. He didn't eat any after the cheese layer came off in one bite. So the service was pleasant enough, meal came fairly quickly. The. It seemed like we were forgotten. BTW it was not busy at all. Early dinner on a Wednesday is fairly empty I am sure this place has a certain dynamic they are for... it's just not for me. Ruth's Chris, Morton's, and black angus are more my style. read more

The menu has changed quite a bit since my first review over 2 years ago. The tomahawk ribeye is not on the menu anymore nor is the pork belly appetizer and lamb chops. That being said, I love trying new things on the menu. You never know if it may not be there again. Service has not changed. It's always impeccable. If I am not happy with an item that I received, I am always nice to the servers. There is never a need to be rude to your servers. Maybe the chef had an off day? I usually communicate with my server and they will let the chef know. Once in a while, the chef will redo the dish or I will get something different. Most of the time I will ask the server what is good today. Their suggestions are spot on. You cannot get this kind of ambiance anywhere closer than Nashville. We were in town for a meeting across the street and stood at the hotel where this restaurant is located. To be honest, we weren't expecting a lot because it was the only steakhouse that we could find relatively close to Campbell. We went two nights in a row because the food was really good. Steaks were tender, cooked as ordered and all the sides were good as well. The service was even better the deck v night when JB was our waiter... never an empty glass, checked on us frequently and when we were done, he didn't bother us about finishing up. He could see that we were reminiscing and let us chat it up. The atmosphere is great, tables are huge with lots space. Very clean and not what I was expecting for a steakhouse on a "gambling hall". The only good thing about this restaurant was the server. The food was sub par at best. Went there with my wife for my birthday. I got the queen cut prime rib med rare and loaded mashed potatoes. Well the prime rib was medium, and not very flavorful. The au jur and horseradish sauce was at most a tablespoon amount. As far as the potatoes a watched the cook using the heat lamps melt the cheese on top. My wife's was still cold and loaded with bacon mine had a smidgen and lukewarm warm. The bread was not fresh and loaded with onion flavor. My wife got the chicken Marsala. The risotto was way over cooked and tasted awful her chicken was dry and not good. We then got dessert how can anyone screw up dessert, well they can. She got key lime pie and it was dry. I got the strawberry shortcake it looked delicious but was terrible. The strawberry sauce way too sweet, the cake was dry and the Chantilly was just okay this dinner came out to $130 way too much for a lackluster dinner. Oh I forgot the best part was the shrimp cocktail. The only downside was once again a tablespoon full of shrimp cocktail sauce. I know the bread is free but when I bit into it and pull the bread away from my mouth, I felt like there was a sting attached to it. It was a long hair. I cannot say how gladly wrong I was. On my entrance I was greeted by Carlos. A kind gentleman whom rapidly guided me to my table while stopping me to observe several captivating desserts, before showing my a cast iron carrot cake. Upon arriving at my table I was embraced by Izzy, a lovely woman that knows the inner workings of this impressive menu. We had an amazing starter course with a rustic cheese and meat platter (local honey was to die for) before being guided to French onion soup. So the slots had been kind, so I elected to go with the local 14 oz Blackhawk farms ribeye. Godless the kitchen staff for knowing that rib-eye of this caliber should come out between medium rare and medium for the fat to render. One of the finest steaks I've had in my life. The wine list is excellent, the staff is courteous and friendly, and the food prepared to perfection. Good service, but the food is incredibly bland. Decent atmosphere, but the bar music was too loud even in the middle of the restaurant. The 2-top table was far too small for the large plates, leaving little room for drinking glasses, etc. They brought cold bread on a dish so large it covered parts of our appetizer plates. The water glasses were both dirty and required replacement. The glass my wife received was so dirty you could still see the color of lipstick the last user wore. My $12 rye Manhattan was entirely too sweet -- almost undrinkable. Wine selection was slim for a "high-end" steakhouse. We were upsold an appetizer special -- oysters on the shell with a breadcrumb crab ball mixture -- which were far too greasy. Oddly, they were served on a thick bed of coarse salt caked onto the bottom of the oyster shells, which made it difficult to eat as it came off on the plate. My steak -- the 24-ounce bone-in ribeye -- lacked seasoning and was way more than bland. Cooked properly, but incredibly unimpressive. My wife's filet was well-cooked and had a good flavor. Our side -- the $8 Brussel sprouts with bacon, pecans and blue cheese -- was piled six inches high over a small bowl, making it difficult to spoon onto our plate. We were only able to eat about half of the dish because the bottom 2/3 of the bowl was full of water and grease. Any run-of-the-mill chain steakhouse will have a better steak. Edwards in Clarksville has a far better overall experience with a cheaper price tag. read more

Love this place! I was so impressed with the decor and the general ambiance of the restaurant. It really looks like a high end restaurant but not as rigid and stuffy like most I've been too. Now got the best part those AWESOME STEAKS. They a bit pricey on the menu but they gave specials everyday, so the prices don't hurt that bad. The stake are well worth it. I do have one caveat.... First off the vibe is amazing! The staff is VERY friendly. We had Kitty as our server. She is seriously so kind and just wonderful! She is a very hard worker and never misses a beat! I ordered the Smokey old fashion (ummmmmmmm FABULOUS) and my husband ordered the Rye Manhattan (also really good but mine was better). We started with the crab cakes (forgot to snap a pic) but HELLLOOOO soooooo freaking good! Definitely recommend! For our main meals I ordered the prime rib it comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus but I substituted the asparagus for Brussels. My husband ordered a 24oz ribeye (he really wanted the tomahawk but no longer available). He really enjoyed his meal. I would say this is 2.5. Food= if you want a steak just go to Texas Roadhouse or Long Horn Steakhouse. You can get a lot better tasting food and not break the bank at a different steakhouse. I ordered the 24oz porter house steak $49 and it was very bland and under seasoned. The Mac and cheese tasted just like Cici's pizza bland pasta noodles. I couldn't believe the Mac and cheese was so boring for such an expensive steakhouse. The Mac and cheese at Long horn is way better. Please don't waste your money here. The waitress was very nice and remembered all of our names but the food is not worth the price. The bread was the best tasting thing. I was in the area and stayed at this Hotel back in Oct 2022, made a reservation for the steakhouse and had dinner at 6pm on a Saturday night. Mckenzie was my waitress. She was super attentive and personable. I had to call my hubby to let him know he missed out on some awesome French onion soup. I had a ribeye for dinner with the roasted Brussel sprout side (served family style). I must give the quality of the food a 5-star rating, mostly because of the quality of the meat, excellent flavor.
