The first time they were here they took out a small group of 4 tall, skinny oaks that were on a small slope so our Internet will work. And two other dead trees next to our house. They took the trees down, cut them into 16" logs and were done by early afternoon. The second time we had a VERY large, VERY old oak with a hollow, twisted trunk that we discovered (late in the afternoon) had cracked and was in danger of falling onto a busy road. they came out the next day to assess and quote, and rescheduled a previous appointment of theirs, so they could take it down the next morning, since it was potentially dangerous. The tree came down, and was cut and stacked in under 3 hours. The whole end-to-end took less than 30 hours to complete, averting what could have been a very tragic event. Jake climbed through 2 feet of snow, removed the cedar from my roof and covered the damage with a plastic tarp to prevent water intrusion. Eddie came out that Saturday to discuss the work and provided us with an estimate for the job. He answered all our questions and scheduled the removal within 2 weeks of the estimate date. The crew arrived promptly on the appointed day, successfully removed the first tree, and later cut it into firewood-sized rounds which they stacked in our back yard as requested. They returned the next day and similarly removed the second tree and did additional pruning work on some others. They chipped all branches and cleaned up thoroughly.
