My friend made our appts, so I'm not sure how easy/difficult that was but she seemed pleased. The staff that was present that day did not speak English but my friend took take of my translating. We inquired about how I could make a future reservation and they said it could be done on their website (awesome!) the place was super clean and they took all the necessary COVID precautions (temperature check, bottom of shoe gets cleaned/dried, everyone had masks on and kept them on). Even so, the ladies were kind and helpful. I was offered a beverage and asked if I needed anything else. I was asked to wait about 10 minutes to see if anyone cancelled or more techs came in. They were able to take me in as a walk in. I had Abigail as my tech. And she was amazing, kind, and so talented. She offered to add a vitamin cover and gardener for my nails at a reasonable price. The salon appears clean and everyone wearing a uniform makes it look even better. They also offer you water, coffee or tea while you get your services, which is very nice. Now for the negatives... I got cut on 3 different fingers from the girl filing my nails. I algo got left with a lot of acrylic product underneath my nail that could have been removed with the proper tip on an e-file. I also didn't get an itemized receipt to reference when paying, but it seems that I got charged extra for having 2 nails be a different color. I did get a couple of nails chromed, which I do believe has an extra cost... but I didn't think the other 2 with just a different color polish was extra. My friend I went with said that they do charge for this. I guess I was expecting the price to be less, but it was $67 for a gel mani and pedi. A day later 2 finger nails had chipped already. Also, upon getting home and looking at my toes more closely, the nails are not as squared as I asked. I should have noticed this at the salon, but it was difficult to focus on both hands and feet after being ask to twist weird ways by putting one foot on top of the stool thing and taking out another hand as they were being worked on simultaneously. Overall, I give the place a 3 out of 5. It's an okay spot but there are areas of improvement. I am open to trying them again, and maybe just getting a mani next time with nothing extra added.

I had passed by this place on our way to our AirBNB and made it a mission to check this place out while in Rosarito. The interior of this nail place is super cute! I loved the interior and how it had this black and white outline look. I had asked to get a pedicure and gel manicure with another friend. Because it looks like they only have two employees working here, they weren't able to accommodate us for both a gel manicure and pedicure. They did take us in for a manicure though, which I was okay with, especially since we were just a walk-in client. The procedure for manicures here (and in other countries for that matter), are different than how they are done in the US. The part where your hand gets soaked and the cuticles get a lot of love and attention get overlooked, and it's almost like an express manicure! But for me, as long as the outcome looks good, then I'm A-OKAY! The gel manicure ended up costing me less than $10 - which is a score for me!

My feet came out more smooth than they normally are (I take great care of my feet). Oh did I mention that the price point is so incredible for both a manicure & a pedicure.
