My friend and I decided we needed a quick day away from COVID San Diego....we decided on TJ. Dry Express was our first stop. With the intention of getting a hair wash/blow out....which escalated to mani/pedi and brow wax. Nearly 3 hours later we emerged refreshed and ready for lunch. My friend made our appts, so I'm not sure how easy/difficult that was but she seemed pleased. The staff that was present that day did not speak English but my friend took take of my translating. We inquired about how I could make a future reservation and they said it could be done on their website (awesome!) the place was super clean and they took all the necessary COVID precautions (temperature check, bottom of shoe gets cleaned/dried, everyone had masks on and kept them on). I made an appointment for my mother and myself. I requested for hair coloring for my mom (sent photos of actual hair and what was wanted) and for myself I wanted just a nails and toes. When we arrived (early 8am) they seemed to be confused about why we were there. We chocked it up as mixed names. When my mom told them what she wanted it sounded like she was being scolded by the the lady doing here hair. As for me the girl that started on my names looked to be in a terrible mood. She didn't even asked what I wanted and just started pushing back my cuticles SUPER AGRESIVA. IT HURT! but then for some reason another girl took over and she wasn't as mean but still not in a great mood. All together. Everyone seemed to be in bad moods except for with what seemed their "usual clients". Won't be returning. It just wasn't a welcoming experience at all. read more

Wish I can give more stars to this place!! I went on a Saturday without an appointment and they still took me in. I got a shampoo+haircut+gel mani+pedi for about $65 minus tip. If you're from the US, this pricing is unbelievable. I highly recommend this place. Love how everything turned out. The only downside is that not a lot of techs speak english, but you can manage with google translator or you can just show them a picture of what you want. read more

I get my eyelashes done in this place, Marina is wonderful and she does a incredible job, I got my eyelashes done 2 weeks ago and I got my retouch done today for 30 bucks, prices vary depending on the quality of the eyelashes but you pay for what you get I had the middle price range ones and I love them, my cousin had the least pricey ones and I can't tell the difference. I will continue to get them done for life! I love them. read more

dry express filed a fraudulent invoice with our insurance carrier and failed to send me the invoice, before it sent it to our insurance carrier as 'promised' at the time dry express was hired. the invoice included items it never performed and work that was not done. we are senior citizens (70+) and relied on dry express because it was a veteran owned company. we are retired military and are extremely upset with dry express for taking advantage of us. because of their fraudulent invoice our insurance claim was 'red flagged' and we lost valuable time trying to rectify the situation. i have serious medical issues and the actions of dry express are reprehensible and inexcusable !! the main point..dry express billed for work that was never completed. i am filing a complaint with the contractor's license board. read more
