It's like extra freaking school man. You already have the full day of school and then you got the horror of going back to something just like it so I would not recommend even going there. They are just discriminating against all type of sports like pickle like just not pickle ball. I'm like surprised I came with a volleyball volleyball and a full bag of supplies to play with the volleyball so me and my dad were about to play in the gym right and just because they had drop they had no drop in volleyball. They didn't allow us to to play And then they said that we have to register into the system like I'm not going back to this place ever again neither am I going to any community centre like here's the thing I want to go play volleyball but here's the thing that's the only thing they don't allow terrible experience if I could give a zero star I would.

**REVIEW FOR THE VACCINE SITE**…read more Extremely, extremely well set up. Very efficient. Several desks doing their checks and balances. What we appreciated was that the technician SHOWED US what we were getting (this is not the case everywhere). This community centre has nice grounds as well. Looks like a new-ish building. Spotless and great air flow. Lots of open, airy spaces.

I came here for my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. There's a small parking lot on the west…read moreside of the building and a larger one on the east side. There's plenty of signs indicating that this community centre is indeed a mass vaccination site. There's 2 staff at the entrance to direct people inside. Another staff inside the entrance gives you a coloured sticker to put on your shirt to show which vaccine you'll be receiving (Pfizer or Moderna). Further down another staff gives you a page of COVID-19 screening questions and another with information on the vaccines such as risks of COVID-19, how the vaccines work, vaccine benefits, vaccine ingredients and allergies and side effects. Once entering the main area (hockey rink) another staff will give you a piece of paper with the time you can leave written on it. Yet another staff will let you know which station to go to for the shot. The registered practical nurse asks which arm you prefer the vaccine. After the shot you go to the designated waiting area to sit for 15 minutes. For the most part you're left to sit and wait but I did see someone in uniform (possibly a paramedic) check and engage in conversation with someone waiting. At checkout the staff prints out confirmation that you've received your vaccine and also emails it to you and gives you a sticker. Right before exiting there's an area to take a selfie for getting your COVID-19 vaccine. Have your health care handy since almost every staff you encounter will need to scan it.

It makes my local one, Milliken Community Centre, look like it's not trying hard enough! I was here for Happy Cute Mart yesterday, which occupied one of the multi-purpose rooms. When I was briefly heading towards the south entrance, I saw folks studying in the library, which was fairly close to where this event was. The room that held this event was large. The south entrance doors were accessible, with buttons to open the door and no steps to deal with. Just before this multi-purpose room, you had to option of walking up steps or using the ramp. I chose the ramp to test it out. It was good. I didn't use the washrooms during my 1.5-hour stay. They are available throughout the centre. This community centre is impressive. It houses two NHL-sized rinks that are 85 x 200 feet in length. Seating capacities are somewhat intimate for NHL regulation-sized rinks at 300 and 600 folks, depending on which rink you are at. There are six dressing rooms for each rink. This place also has a therapy pool. It has an accessibility handrail throughout the pool and deck areas, which is nice. There's also a wheelchair ramp. The pool temperature is set at 35°C. It has one gymnasium that I never got to see. I like that there's a seniors centre that is the home of the Thornhill Seniors Club. It houses one of three City of Markham Health and Fitness Centres. It also has a dance and wellness studio. Pretty cool! I feel the need to return and check out some of these programs out. I'm not using my local community centres as much as I should. There was a lot of parking around the building. I managed to find a decent parking spot on a Saturday afternoon despite the event's popularity on top of regular programs offered by this centre. I liked everything that I saw while I was here. I will return to check out the library and more. (242)

I didn't get a chance to explore the entire space, but I knew that there is a Tim Hortons on site, 2 skating rinks, a library, plus, washrooms are available throughout the community centre. There were plenty of parking spots around the building. Though for this holiday event, the lot was maxed out, and we had to park further out. The local bus actually comes through the parking lot too.

Details: I am visiting Lebovic Jewish Community Center once a month. It has a relaxing atmosphere. It has outdoor parking, 2 floors underground garage and 2 floors above ground level. Pool, gym and cafeteria are on the ground level. Many classes and development businesses on 2nd and 3rd floors. I have never been inside the pool, so I do not know much about changing rooms or if they have a sauna. However, pool has big cathedral windows. It looks clean and organized as the rest of the community. They have elevators, escalators and complementary Wifi. Employees and guests are polite and friendly. Overall, it's a great Community Center which is utilized mainly by Jews, but open for anyone else.
