It does have a homey feel to it, since it's quite small. A handful of tables and chairs, little bar tucked in the corner, and even a somewhat separate front room equipped with a bunch of games. We came in with a group of seven and somehow snagged enough space at the front windows. Service was speedy, beers were cold, cocktails were A-OK. Ambiance wasn't all there, as the lights were starkly bright for being 10pm on a Saturday. Decent prices though! Can't speak to the food, but perhaps that should be on the list for next time!

The waitress's are ok, but the bar food was actually GOOD! Lol. The waitress was a little lackluster, and looked a bit worn down, unlike my last experienced here. The fried party wings are juicy and tasty, so yummy. The sausage / pepperoni pizza took me back to my childhood, great memories of the best pizza topped with delicious cheese. They have a parking lot with a security guard, but it was full by the time we came, however, there was plenty of street parking available. I didn't like the security search down at the door. (But I guess it's necessary) they checked my purse and my body before letting me in... again, I guess I should appreciate it, it's for my own safety after all. The guards were not friendly. (Which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) The MUSIC WAS GREAT!!! A female DJ played a variety of songs, covering the 60s, 70s through today's music, I really enjoyed myself. Oh, they also have a dance floor, so feel free to "cut a rug" lol. . Perfect place for social gatherings. Have a great attitude and have FUN!

Ok I have been to this bar a couple times when it was JDs over three years ago and I didn't realize…read moreit was a new place for the last one and a half years now. The place is exactly the same on inside when it was last remodeled from that crappy smoke smelling dump wing bar, never had a chance to ever get the wings. It's a small U shaped bar with tables on the side. I have been looking at this place as a book mark for awhile and still not many reviews or food pictures so you know what time it is, it's a Steve stop by to check them out. The blond bartender was friendly. The place wasn't packed on a Sunday afternoon but it had plenty of people in it and I noticed immediately after sitting down that everyone had food in front of them or would get served food, think about that for a second because when have you ever seen just about everyone in the bar having food because it just doesn't happen. Ok this beef and shrimp bourbon bowl on top of jambalaya is intriguing so I'm getting it. It's steak, shrimp, peppers, onions over jambalaya in a bourbon sauce. I absolutely love when restaurants think outside the box and create a dish like duh how come nobody else has offered this, twice in 5 week's for an out or the box dish. My Gin Rickey was average and I understand that it was popular a100 years ago so no harm no foul. First off the bowl was weighty and impressive looking with tons of beef compared to the shrimp and probably the right ratio, it's a big bowl with no skimping. The sweet bourbon and the beefy taste of the beef with that slight fat flavor was my first thought and my second was the peppers and onions pulling the whole bowl together was really tasty. With the beef and peppers in the sweet bourbon sauce the shrimp and jambalaya are innocent by standers but none the less it's different and delicious. Overall this was a delicious bowl and something unique as far as bar food goes which is so good.
