For started the parking lot is usually jammed and your first impression begins as you observe their always overflowing dumpster followed by the rust Uhaul truck parked in the corner next to the attractive storage container. If you're looking for greeting cards get ready to be disappointed as the card sections are never more than half stocked. The store is so understaffed that the shelves often look like they are going out of business. The pharmacy is also so understaffed that they close in the middle of the day so they can eat lunch. If you try using the CVS app the staff can never scan the barcode so what is meant to save time adds time. Always a long line for the pharmacy and the store is expertly designed so the pharmacy line is in the aisle with the condoms, lube and massagers. Love this place! Avoid at all costs.

Unless your name is Vinnie Van Go there is no excuse for that. Even worse the cashier didn't ask him to put the mask on. When I questioned the cashier about the mask violation he just shrugged his shoulders. Maybe CVS sales are down and they need to spread the virus. Hey NY we are just lucky right now. This Walgreens is pretty darn good in my book. I've been to nearly every Walgreens in Nassau County…read morethus far (well, at least a good amount of them) and this location is a top contender for the best photo department around. They are one of my go-to locations to order online prints for pick up and they always do a stand-up job. I even had two custom shirts (one sweatshirt and one t-shirt) sent here and Walgreens knocked them out the park. My most commonly printed item is a 20x30'' poster board and while other locations have had challenges in the past with that specific size, they are always ready on time here at Freeport Walgreens. In fact, if I send it in the night before at 8-10pm, they are almost always ready by noon the next day. From my days working at a pharmacy when I was younger, I know how tiring and grueling it can be. So to the staff here, thank you for being so reliable and for all the work you do day in and day out!
