The Enclave has been a great spot to hang out, grab some food, and just relax with good vibes. There's a wide variety of food options, including Hawaiian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Japanese, coffee, and desserts, so there's truly something for everyone. We've especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor seating since it's dog-friendly, making it a fun place to visit with our pup. We've had a great experience each time and definitely plan on coming back to try more of the restaurants there.

Big enough to host an army. There's an art gallery here that host a couple outdoor games: ping pong table carved out from rock and metal cornhole. There's also lots of individual sets of fireplace and wooden reclining chairs you see at the beach around it. Metal tables and chairs with umbrella. And an indoor food court. I recently found out the owner is a member of the church Calvery Life and offered to open an outdoor Sunday ministry spot for the church. I finally had time to come check it out and loved it! They closed a corner lot and you can tell the church spend a lot of time and effort to set it up. It was a very powerful worship. Loved it! I got my favorite mocha latte and got to try some fresh pastry from Noga. What a perfect start to a perfect Sunday. Thank you JESUS!!!

There are 25% of lights on in this part of the mall for some reason. I'd like to consider ourselves as mall connoisseurs- we are always at Santa Anita Mall, South Coast Plaza and Brea Mall. We rarely visit Del Amo and I'm pleasantly surprised by how clean and the touch light walls are working. The rugs don't seem super grimey either. I particularly enjoy the layout that the play area is enclosed. The mall seems very safe with multiple security mall cops on moving scooters surveillance-ing around at all times. The nicer part of the mall with new shops like Chagee and Uniqlo is bright and open. Aritzia is opening soon too and Somi Somi is here for a sweet treat after playing

Some of my favorite stores - Adidas, Alo, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Barnes & Nobles, Coach, Dick's Sporting Goods, Free People, Hollister, Kate Spade, Lids, Lululemon, Nike, Nordstrom, & Vuori. The mall has a plethora of other stores. Lots of food options to include but not an inclusive list - BJs, Dave & Busters (food & games), Din Tai Fung, Frida, Lucille's, Luna Grill, North Italia, Outback Steakhouse, P.F Chang's, Shake Shack, & Sweet Green. Food options to meet everyone budget. Pros 1. Abundance of stores and food options. 2. Well-maintained grounds. 3. Plenty of seating throughout the mall. Cons 1. Parking is insane. Talk about frustration. Especially during the weekends and holidays. You will roll around for quite some time to secure parking. Just have a lot of patience. Things to note: The mall spans a few blocks, with different stores like Dick's Sporting Goods and Barnes & Nobles being outside the main mall in stand alone locations. AMC on the premises - back side of mall. Use the AMC website for times of operation. Overall, Del Amo Fashion Center is a great option shop, dine, or have an outing at.

[Review #817] 2024-016…read more Opened in the 1960s, Rolling Hills Plaza is an eclectic outdoor shopping center with restaurants & shops, anchored by AMC Theatres & 24-Hour Fitness. I first visited this plaza to watch movies with friends in the late 1990s. And on some nights with new movie openings, the lines were so long they wrapped around the building. Yikes! There's been a lot of turnover the last couple of decades that I can't remember some of the earlier tenants. A fav Japanese restaurant with a large diverse dessert menu had closed, replaced by Hakata Yamaya (renamed as Yamaya). Most recently, SHIOK! Asian Street Food (family fav for delish sandwiches & boba drinks) was closed due to downturn from the COVID-19 pandemic, replaced with Hanky's Hot Chicken, followed by Tap Society Brews & Bites (its sister Caps & Corks is still open) all within 4 years. Not sure why this particular spot always had high turnover. Bed Bath & Beyond is another former resident that I often shopped at for home goods, especially when I first moved to the South Bay. Although I no longer visit this AMC as much, I still shop & dine fairly regularly at the plaza: Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Nijiya Market, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, Mendocino Farms, Lunasia Dim Sum House, Stonefire Grill, Nice China Cafe, Pinwheel Cafe Bakery, Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee, California Pizza Kitchen, Veggie Grill, Iccho Restaurant, Kabab Curry of India, Fanoos Grill. I'm sure there are others that I missed (supposedly there's 80+ eateries & retail tenants). While parking is plentiful, vacancies are challenging during lunch & dinner rushes, & weekends. Rolling Hills Plaza is one of the larger outdoor spaces for one-stop dining, shopping, & entertainment for the whole family... workout, grab a coffee, shop, dine, & watch a movie in one go.

Stores have been closing due to the lack of business in this mall. At current status, its a Ghostown! Shopping is really non existence. "Its rather creepy." Its a sad situation to see that so many businesses are closing down. There is talk that this mall will completely close for good, maybe a couple of years from now. Rumor has it that this mall will be demolished for condos or some type of housing real estate investment? Overall I would come back! Its probably a good time to shop at this mall now since everything will be in liquidation soon. As for now, every stores is giving some type of discounts. No congestion, no traffic and plenty of parking. The mall is clean. I advise to look out for some deals. I seen discounts here and there that is ridiculously great! Lots of history at this mall. Going to be sad to see when this place gone.

Review #606 2025-095…read more I'm backtracking my review count because the original #606 was for defunct Bird Talk Chicken that "it was removed due to the review & photos posted appears to depict a YEE" (I went back the next day because my fam really loved their food so it's unrelated). Anyways, the last time I've been to South Bay Galleria was in 2019, & dined at a few restaurants & shopped at a few stores: Sunny Side Up Deli & Grill (refer to Review #272), Fresh Splash (refer to Review #273), Cafe Meli Mellow (refer to Review #434), Crazy 8 (refer to Review #372), H & M, Payless Shoe Source, etc. Post pandemic, I only recently visited a handful of times for a Yelp event at French Touch (refer to Review #790), birthday parties at Wonder of Dinosaurs, Urban Youth Parks, & most recently, I went to an event at Orange Door Spaces with fellow mom from SBCS & watched a movie at the AMC Dine-In with my Yelp gal pal, Lily W. South Bay Galleria opened in 1985 & housed anchor stores like Nordstrom, Mervyns, Macy's. I started coming here in the late 1990s when I moved to the South Bay. I noticed declining foot traffic (likely because the food court lines have gotten shorter) since the departure of Mervyns in 2008 or 2009, followed by Nordstrom, & more store closures. Their foot court is on the 3rd level with a handful of eateries distributed on other levels. South Bay Galleria will be undergoing major redevelopment from its traditional shopping mall into a mixed-use complex. News vary from residential units, hotel, with commercial spaces & a parking garage on the surrounding parking lots, with the potential of some original buildings remaining, though a significant portion will likely be demolished to make way for the new development. There's not as much shopping opportunities/retail stores as there are experiences: Battleground (competitive multi-player story driven free roam VR experience), VR Place (10 station VR experience), QuestRoom (escape rooms), Skate Farm (skating rink), Funshare Arcade (arcade games, claw machines, ticket redemptions), Cherished Memories (elective 2D/3D/4D sonogram), Zen Relax (massage). Peekaboo Bin Store might be interesting, a sort of bargain hunt/discount, last chance store. Mall hours are short, & opened from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. If you're here for the movies in the evenings, park in the structure & exit at Level 4 to enter the empty mall (I was lucky to run into security patrolling the grounds to learn about this outside Q). I don't feel very comfortable here at night due to the parking lot's desertedness, but am glad to see security both times when I was here at Orange Door Spaces & AMC. I'm not sure if I'll be returning any time soon, but my kiddos are curious about VR & may stop by Battleground or VR Place, & possibly QuestRoom (are escape rooms still a thing?). Sad to see this once bustling mall fade away.
