In that time, I've developed a soft spot for Reuben sandwiches and have enjoyed them in more than 10 states. It took me two tries and three trips around the block to finally find The Older Brother, but the effort was absolutely worth it. I think I've found one of the finest Reubens I've ever eaten. A beautiful, fresh marbled rye held finely shredded corned beef, juicy sauerkraut, and their special dressing. It was one of the juiciest--and yes, messiest--Reubens I've ever had, and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I even sent my compliments to the chef. The trendy little café, with its wide-open windows and bright, airy feel, made it seem like outdoor dining on a beautiful day. Service was friendly, attentive, and right on time. First off, it's counter service, which isn't abnormal but given the size of this spot, It was surprising. It felt like McAllister's or Newk's in that way. They have beer, huge plus. But here's the kicker, it's Cajun/Creole style cuisine, so they have all of the goods. Red beans, Po-Boys, etc. But you can also get chicken tenders, fried catfish, etc. Man, I loved ALL of it! I didn't live in Starkvegas, so it could be a bit of a hike and when Amber was around, we didn't really eat a lot of food like this either.
