Always love bringing my wheels here for some socks! If they didn't have it (new or used) they would always go out of their way to find me some or order them. They had me leave a name and phone number to give me a ring if they found some. Kid you not, I know there are sizes that are hard to come by in use, but most times they'll find them. The mechanic was really rude barely spoke to me and had his coworkers speak for him, Went to Garcias to put a part in (I already bought the part myself) to have them put the part in just to be charged 120$ for 20 minutes of there time. I am a female I'm not sure if that's why they charged me so much. It was an oil pressure switch and was supposed to be really easy fix. Coolest tire shop on planet earth. We were stranded just outside Lompoc with a 22" rim with no spare...don't ask! Garcia's not only stays open 45 min later for us, but they act as though we're doing THEM a favor. They were cool from phone call to the point when we drove off. We were faced with possibility of having to stay overnight due to all other shops that were closed and the rarity of a 22" low profile tire. Actually if not for Garcia's we would have spent Saturday night in Lompoc. We grabbed a 30 pack of Bud Light and chilled while they did their thing. They had us on our way in under 45 minutes and we got home. They saved the day and gave us a serious lesson on humanity and just overall small town goodness. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! read more

The only place I will buy tires! If you want frills, carpet, free WiFi, and coffee, go see the fancypants guys with the big marquees (and big egos and pricetags while you're there). But if you want to support local business and not corporate giants and don't care about frills, (like me!) here's where you go for tires! When broke and desperate, I've had to opt for their used tires, but these guys show me their options before doing anything and I have yet to see a tire not worthy to put on my silver bullet toaster. And the last set of new tires I got from them have lasted me almost a year (and at least 30k miles) so far! Their prices are better than anyone, (look for a coupon in the local mailer about once a month, which saves more) and you'll most likely get served by the owner himself or know that he is nearby. read more

This is definitely a small business I will support again. I always purchase my tires online and just get my tires mounted and balanced at a local Big Brand Tire & Service shop. I thought $40 for the install and disposal of two tires was a fair price at the BBT shop. Getting an appointment on the other hand is inconvenient and forgettable on the weekends. I decided to give Garcia Tires a call at 8:40am on a Friday. The service member who answered the phone was kind and said I could come in in an hour. The total cost for two tires, mounted, balanced, and disposal of old tires was $24. When I pulled up the employee was waiting outside for me and immediately began working on the car. 15 minutes later I'm ready to get back on the road. It sure beats the 1-3 hours I have to leave my car at BBT to get serviced. Edit: additionally this employee checked and topped off a set of tires for a woman who drove up and let a homeless man use his air compressor to fill his bike tires, free of charge. read more

Went there Saturday morning for a nail in the tire. He removed the tire pulled the nail very short told me no leak put the tire back on, checked all the tires found one missing stem cap. Put one on and and told me no charge! This is service at it's best! I all my friends to go to Garcia's tires! read more

They made problems worst! They balanced my front tires but then rotated unbalanced back tires in front. Steering wheel was shacking like crazy bc of this! Felt like they did this on purpose for me to come back. Beware!!! Super shady!!!! read more

I had the best experience ever at a shop, as a female I must say I always feel uncomfortable going to get my car fixed or looked at. Clearly because I always feel I'm getting taken advantage of, Not here :) Jose and his staff were awesome!. This is truly a great shop!!! Jose is very nice and respectful, he always goes above and beyond to help the customer. I had purchased two used tires from him and they were bad so he immediately replaced them!!! AWESOME I have bought used tires AND THEY HAVE SAVED MY LIFE!!! This is a great quick fix for anyone and its good for the environment. He sells the tires at a low price just to help the customer. He does alignments and rotations and mount and balance.
