I have been to this restaurant a few times with my grandfather, and each time it feels as though the quality of the food and service becomes less and less. We went in last night, and the cashier we gave our order to had the worst attitude, and she was completely unattentive of us once we sat down--rather than bring chips and salsa for us to snack on while we waited for our meal, she made it a point to go outside and clean tables that no one had been sitting at.
I decided to get up and ask the other waitress for chips and salsa (other customers had chips and salsa, so we wanted some too). She seemed nice until she slammed the salsa down on the table and walked off without saying anything. We probably would have been better off without the chips and salsa as the flavor of the salsa was poor and the chips were of equally poor quality.
When the food finally arrived (we both ordered chile relleno plates), we never got the salad that was said to come with the food on the menu. The rice was the brightest orange I have ever seen, the beans were bland, the fries had the flavor of old and overused cooking oil, and the chile relleno was horrendous.
In addition to the food, I had ordered a horchata which was almost completely flavorless, and my grandfather had ordered a coke which came in a can. These drinks, together with the two plates of chile relleno, came out to almost thirty dollars. Completely outrageous and overpriced for the complete lack of quality in food and service.
Stay far away from this regrettable restaurant. There are far better places in town that are not only fairly priced, but have excellent quality in service and food.
