While you may have to wait a bit longer occasionally, this means the person before you is receiving the same thorough care and attention. Personally, I am grateful to have found such a dedicated and attentive doctor after years of feeling rushed through other practices. Dr. Lee takes the time to listen and genuinely cares about his patients. Everyone has bad days--we are all human, after all--but I have consistently found Dr. Lee and his staff to be professional, compassionate, and highly competent. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and his team. He is a family man and a family doctor who truly cares about his patients' well-being.

So I agree with the reviews on here that Dr. Horsefield is knowledgeable. I don't think that can be…read moreargued. What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

My son (C) has had several health situations and Dr. Pope has superbly answered our questions and expertly guided us through each one. The nurses really care too. The waiting room is always packed but the desk staff seem to manage appointments as well as insurance billing flawlessly. In my opinion, Dr Pope is one of the best Pediatricians around!

Steven Becker, MD, has been my primary care physician since 1999, and so too for my wife…read more Dr. Becker is medically knowledgeable, competent, incisively accurate in identifying problems and treatment solutions, approachable, and available. He is everything one could desire in a primary care physician. His availability allows for e-mail or text of a medical need, to which he responds, clarifies, and proceeds with sending prescription order or whatever is appropriate. Dr. Becker is actively and directly familiar with medical specialists and their competencies---not merely looking them up in a directory or online. He diagnosed my prostate cancer in 2003, and guided my choice of one of the most competent urologists in the Houston area. That same urologist treated the urologically related elements of my wife's cancer, and, in turn, directed her to one of the most competent gynecological oncologists in Houston. Dr. Becker has also served as primary care physician for one of my sisters and her husband, treating significant complexities with total satisfaction. In the last two months of my wife's life, Dr. Becker and HIS wife visited my wife during her final hospitalization, and thereafter they visited her twice in our home---not for medical treatment, but rather because they cared.

First, she was NOT friendly. I was taken aback instantly by how she answered the phone. She was very short, curt, and abrupt through our very brief conversation. Then, I realized she is only an answering service, and if I wanted to schedule an appointment, I would have to wait 6 days until someone else returned to the office to call me to get my information (and who knows how long I'd have to wait to be seen after that). If the first person I spoke to is any indicator on how the rest of my experience will go, I will easily move on and find someone else.
