Every time we have worked with Dennis and his team they have always done an amazing job--from the measurement appointment through to the installation. We made several purchases here over the years, for carpet. Then we needed to replace engineered…read morehardwood flooring that was damaged, and wanted to do something that was better quality and more comfortable since we have little kids. We were convinced this new stronger more durable manufactured wood was the way to go, versus tile which would have been too hard for children to play on. From the sample, the piece looked great. Nice and thick yet seemed very comfortable. We placed our order and a couple of weeks later we were ready to have it installed by Mr. Carpet. About halfway through install I popped in to the room to check on the progress and noticed the install crew wasn't pulling out the same great looking stuff that we saw in the store, but instead it was a vinyl product, without any backing at all. Stuff was like walking on the bare floor, not to mention how incredibly toxic vinyl products are. This flooring looked nothing like their sample piece with layers and layers of board to give it the impression it was a thick piece of flooring. Felt like we had been deceived. When I called and expressed my concerns, the staff didn't seem too eager to help. We pulled the flooring up almost immediately and purchased quality flooring elsewhere. Lesson learned to research products, even when you have a professional company "helping"

Just by freak accident I found out they failed to put plastic down over the cement floor before install. They did come back and redo the whole job again. Now I have raised sections of floor. They gave me a lot of good advice. The prices are good here and they don't leave you to wonder they tell you exactly how much it's going to cost on each piece of tile or laminate flooring. The total price on each piece is what it cost to buy it and install it. Easy. Although they didn't have the color that I wanted I'm hoping that they can order it. I'll come back and post an update.

If I didn't find a tile it was ridiculously expensive. Like 20sqft came out to about $700-$800 and it wasn't even super fancy tile. Eight months later, we are still waiting for the job to be completed. According to the installers, in April, Jim ordered the wrong transition strips to go between the LVP flooring and the ceramic tile. Jim reordered more transition strips. These strips were too narrow to fill the gap left between the two floors. Jim said that he would reorder in more transition strips. He told us would get back to us and come out to ensure these strips would work - that was in September. Jim did not get back to us, I had to contact him. Here we sit, the floor still is not completed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business! It is by far the worst follow-up and communications I have ever encountered from a business owner!

There were a few little projects that we could DIY and then there were these cabinets. GAH! The color! The doors! They were so dated and didn't match the rest of our home at all. Well it turns out that replacing those little brown-devil doors was a bit of a challenge! I called several businesses who weren't interested in such a small job and then called several handymen who didn't know how to fabricate something from scratch. That is when I was fortunate enough to run across Walton Home Improvements on Yelp! In the very few photos posted, I saw something similar to what I was hoping for! Ron did an amazing job and was incredibly professional. He clearly knows his craft. After listening to my ideas and adding his own creative suggestions, he went to work!
