I called Sanford Carpet and Flooring and they sent a guy out the next day. He arrived with a decal "Carpet Man" on his car. He did real miracle work on the carpet, and got it completely straightened out. This isn't the first time I dealt with this company. A few years ago we purchased a commercial carpet from them. The price was very reasonable, and installation was fast.

He had to go back to the store to pick ip the vinyl sheet we had paid previously and was supposed to come back immedialtly to our house where we where waiting, 20 minutes away from the store. 2 hours later the store called back telling that we hadn't bought the glue and we had to go to the store to pay for it, refusing to give it to the installer thar we could have paid. When we went to the store we were very angry that it took them 2 hours before calling us and when we asked why they hadn't sold the glue with the vinyl sheet, the manager told us that we had refuse to buy it! We took our product and found another installer that came very quickly and we finally paid less... I don't recommend this store at all.

We made several purchases here over the years, for carpet. Then we needed to replace engineered…read morehardwood flooring that was damaged, and wanted to do something that was better quality and more comfortable since we have little kids. We were convinced this new stronger more durable manufactured wood was the way to go, versus tile which would have been too hard for children to play on. From the sample, the piece looked great. Nice and thick yet seemed very comfortable. We placed our order and a couple of weeks later we were ready to have it installed by Mr. Carpet. About halfway through install I popped in to the room to check on the progress and noticed the install crew wasn't pulling out the same great looking stuff that we saw in the store, but instead it was a vinyl product, without any backing at all. Stuff was like walking on the bare floor, not to mention how incredibly toxic vinyl products are. This flooring looked nothing like their sample piece with layers and layers of board to give it the impression it was a thick piece of flooring. Felt like we had been deceived. When I called and expressed my concerns, the staff didn't seem too eager to help. We pulled the flooring up almost immediately and purchased quality flooring elsewhere. Lesson learned to research products, even when you have a professional company "helping"
