I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.

After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. Scott was informed Aug 2nd that we have a problem and require that he send someone to fix it. Scott came by and assessed the damage and ordered the necessary material, which turned out to be not enough for the job on hand. To make a long story short the circus dragged on until Oct 06, no communication from P&Q to give us any updates, missed appointments without apologies, etc. We were very disappointed and would not recommend them.

They came out and gave us a competitive bid and where on time for the estimates . Unfortunately, once the crew got started it just got off on the wrong foot. I came home early to find them cutting the floor without any fans running nor any finished areas protected from dust . This includes fixtures in the room , which then the installer turns on the fan which they covered in dust and promptly threw dust all over the ceiling (which was never cleaned ). Then installer showed us stain color and swore it was the same as our previous ...but turned out to be not even close ....the crew did a great job though installing floor quickly and resetting all appliances ...then we had a few other hiccups and the end result is now a cupping if all the new hardwoods they installed . Needless to say the execution of demo, install , and finishing was quick and looked good besides the poor matching of stain . So , we now have to figure out how to proceed with 3 kids in the middle of a school year ., one with severe asthma, one on two travel sports teams, and 2 working parents . Geesh this is gonna suck ...again Promised Stu I would update this review after they were more than accommodating with an equitable settlement . They completely owned up and were honestly a pleasure to deal with even through all the issues which could not be diagnosed.
