You will not be disappointed! Have to mention how they went above and beyond. We hired them to do our patio door, door arrived earlier than expected. Deliveries guys threw it up against my railing. I could not lift inside and hubby was not home. So after calling the Lobo team they came right over and brought the door inside for us until planned day of install. So very nice of them!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Thomas Garage Doors…read more I hired Jamie over two years ago to install my garage doors ($16,000+), and since then it has been one issue after another. One of the doors has never functioned properly and has repeatedly come off the spool, requiring multiple repair visits. Eventually, the bottom panel needed to be replaced. Jamie agreed to handle the repair, and I paid more than $2,000 for the new panel and installation. After an extremely long wait, the panel was finally installed -- but the workmanship was unacceptable. The overlays didn't line up, were pulling away from the panel, and looked terrible. Rather than taking responsibility, Jamie blamed the manufacturer and promised to replace the panel. That was months ago. Since then, it has been excuse after excuse, missed promised dates, and poor communication. I was told the replacement panel would arrive this week and that I would receive a call. No call ever came. To make matters worse, the garage door came off the spool again this week, leaving me panicked and unable to safely use the door. I tried repeatedly to contact Jamie and, unsurprisingly, received no response. I finally had to call another garage door company, and they arrived within an hour to fix the problem. What shocked me most was that the technician immediately noticed serious installation issues with the original work. He told me the brackets had been installed backwards and questioned whether the door had been installed properly in the first place. After more than two years of ongoing problems, delays, poor workmanship, and lack of responsiveness, I cannot recommend Thomas Garage Doors. Save yourself the frustration and hire someone else.

We have used Affordable Solutions LLC on several occasions. Their prices are reasonable and their…read morework is excellent. We plan on using them in the future for our repair and project needs The first time we hired Affordable Solutions was to repair our front door. It was severely weathered and they made it look new after a couple days work without removing it. They charged us 1/3rd of the other companies that gave us quotes. We also have had them repair other doors, fix rotted stairs, replace broken deck boards, replace handrails, stain and paint, as well as multiple repairs. Each time their workers came when they said they would, did the work efficiently and did a great job. One very important point: we have had several storm-related repairs lately. Our insurance provided contractor ghosted us, several others did not return our call, many thought our needs were not substantial/lucrative enough. Andy Gibb and his team have come through for us with reasonable prices, good communication and great results!

After searching Angie's list for a reputable company to repair a single wooden spindle on my…read morestairwell, I called Affordable Solutions, LLC to come out and provide me with a n estimate. Mr. Gibbs came to home, extremely late on the day of the appointment. He suggested he cut the damaged spindle and take it with so it could be matched exactly. He ensured me his wood guy could replicate the discontinued spindle as I requested. He also ensured me it would only take a few days to get the spindle back. He quoted me a price e of over 400.00 for 1 wooden spindle and would not start the work without a deposit and contract. It ended up being weeks before I got the spindle back. When he returned, the color was extremely off, and he had to take the spindle back to fix the color. Several weeks later he again returned. When he returned I could not believe what he brought back to be placed in my home stairwell. It was not the custom-made spindle replicated by his wood guy, but a 6.00-dollar spindle from Home Depot. The color did not match, nor was it the same style of spindle. He failed to inform me that he would be installing the wrong spindle. I WAS LIVID! I could not believe a so call reputable company bamboozled me out of 400.00 for a 6.00 spindle. I asked him why he dd not call or inform me he had the wrong spindle, he just arrived at my home and commenced to installing the mis matched spindle. He never apologized, never offered a refund, no even partial. I am still considering suing him for breech of contract. Please under no circumstances, DO NOT USE Affordable solutions, Prince Frederick owned by Andy Gibbs.

We had a very disappointing experience with this company…read more We paid a $10,000 deposit to start building a garage. After receiving our deposit, the company significantly increased the price of the project to an amount we could no longer afford. We tried to discuss the situation in person at their office, hoping to find a solution, but instead we were treated disrespectfully. The owner raised his voice, yelled at us, and made the situation even more stressful. The document we signed was not a formal construction contract, yet we were left without our deposit and without the project moving forward. We filed a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC), but unfortunately we did not receive the help we expected. We also hired attorneys, which has only resulted in additional expenses while trying to resolve this matter. Our experience has been frustrating, financially draining, and extremely disappointing. I encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review all paperwork, make sure you have a detailed written contract, and fully understand the terms before paying a large deposit.
