I was referred to Garage Door Solutions by my garage door manufacturer. My door needed repair which was covered by a warranty. The door company representative contacted the repairman on my behalf. I spoke to the repairman by phone to set up an appointment. He kept me updated on the appointment via sms text. He gave me an accurate estimate of his arrival time - I really appreciated that. His work was done quickly and efficiently. He also took time to explain how the parts of the garage door work. He also pointed out some minor issues and how to maintain my door in the future. I was impressed by his knowledge and professional service. His prices were also reasonable and comparable. I will definitely call them again if I need any type of repair service. I recommend Garage Door Solutions, Inc. to anyone seeking a reputable and friendly dealer. read more

Awesome job, great experience with this company. I'm kind of hard to please and I ask a LOT of questions. My interactions with Bob were pleasant, responses were prompt and professional, and I would not hesitate to recommend Garage Door Solutions to anybody in need of garage door service or repair. I read about this company on the Nextdoor neighborhood website where somebody posted that they needed their garage door repaired. This company was mentioned six times in the string of replies, so I contacted them. Bob called me the next morning and was able to get my issue resolved quickly and at a reasonable price. I'm very happy I took his advice to convert my system from broken side springs to torsion, and even more happy I chose them to do the job. Would not call anyone else in the future. read more

I got home Saturday evening and my garage door was not functioning at all. I had to manually open and close it. I called Garage Door Solutions expecting to get an answering service since it was the weekend. Bob answered and I explained to him what the problem appeared to be. Bob was so kind and suggested that he come over Monday. I was working when Bob went over to my house. We agreed that he would text me once he knew what the problem was and the cost of parts etc. I asked that Bob do whatever it took to make it so that it wasn't just putting a bandage on it. The cost was far less than I had anticipated!!! He even fixed the light to the garage because I was unable to screw in a light bulb since the previous light bulb broke off inside. I came home and VOILA my garage was good as new! read more

I had garage door solutions out to take a look at my home shops garage doors. I had 2 single doors with a load bearing post in the center. Garage door solutions was the only company that would remove the post, and install an over sized 19'10 x 8 foot door. Everyone else wanted to shrink the opening down, or modify the post. Garage door solutions did exactly what I asked for! Didnt loose any of my opening, and was extremely confident in their installation. They also installed openers on both of my garage doors which are flawless. From my over complex questions, to nagging phone calls they were always professional and walked me through each step. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. These are the guys for any job big or small! read more

I read the Yelp reviews and decided to contact Garage Door Solutions when my garage door opener broke. Previous reviews were correct. Wonderful people and company to deal with. Bob was very helpful and so kind to want to get my repair done ASAP considering how cold it was outside. He did just that, within 24 hours Tom was at my house installing the new opener. He was timely, efficient and professional. Both Bob and Tom were very nice to work with and I would highly recommend you call them if you should have any garage door needs. Excellent company and people, so glad I opted to call them! read more

This is exactly what garage door repair should be -- fast, pocketbook friendly, and efficient. Bob came out in the middle of the night to check out my garage door which would not close. Bob patiently explained the issues to me providing a temporary fix to get me safely through the night. He was very transparent about the costs, no gray areas, and answered all of my questions. He was back the very next morning as promised, fixed my garage opener which had broken gears. The problem was fixed in an hour or so, and he made sure everything was working to my satisfaction. read more

Bob from Garage Door Solutions was referred to me from a friend, and I will be sure to refer him to anyone I know that needs help with the garage door. When my garage door spring snapped, he was out the next day to give me options of repairing the existing door or getting a new one. I decided to get a new one and used the tools on his website to play around and build my perfect, custom garage door. He and his team came out to install it within days. They were clean, professional and prompt and I would definitely use him and recommend him in the future. read more

I walked out to my garage one morning and it started going up and stopped. I began lowering it, when things just fell off the rail. Couldn't get my lawn mower out, but more importantly, couldn't get my motorcycle out. I called them and they came out that day. He spent four hours working on my door replacing many cheap pieces with quality pieces and now my garage door works better than it did before. In spite of the extra time required he did not change the charge. Did a great job, and anything that has to do with garage doors, they are my guys! read more

Garage Door Solutions was great. My 2.5 wooden garage door was original to my 1970's home. After many repairs over the years it was time for a new door. I called Garage Door Solutions and spoke to Bob. He came out the same day. He was professional and helpful. He did not try and sell me on more than I needed. He worked within my budget . I have received many compliments on my new door. I have no problem recommending Garage Door Solutions to others. Thanks Bob, great job. H. Russell read more

Bob Initially came out to repair both springs and than we decided the next day due to the age of the door and condition that a New Door was needed. They helped with understanding best options in picking out the door and today installing with the upmost pride and offered insight on when to lubricate the rollers, bearings and when to even clean the windows, security and more. Called Bob at 4:55 pm when our garage door was stuck about a foot open (with both cars inside the garage, of course). He came out within 20 minutes! Diagnosed and fixed the problem (broken spring, flipped cables) in an hour!! Kept our garage secure with access to the cars, and at a fair price! We will definitely call him if needed again, and will refer him to friends and neighbors! read more
