This company is excellent! Everything from the woman I spoke to when I called, I think her name is Kristen, to the guys that came out to fix my door after I backed into it. Not only were they here a mere hour after I called, they were friendly and courteous, and very thorough in their inspection. Josh explained everything he was going to do and answered all of my questions. I had previously been putting off getting my door serviced, even though I knew it needed it, so I guess fate just took a hand and had me back into the door. Luckily, the damage itself was minor and they were able to get it back on track. Then they addressed my previous problems, which was a slow and noisy door and one that I was unable to lift manually when needed. I now have brand new heavy duty springs and new rollers. They lubricated the mechanisms and everything is great now. What I thought was going to be a lengthy issue and an expensive problem ended up being addressed efficiently and thoroughly and at a great price. These are the people you want if you need anything done for your garage doors. read more

I think this company is the best in the business. Our old garage door bit the dust and we had no idea what we wanted as a replacement. Kevin walked us through their catalog and was friendly, patient, and helpful in answering our questions. He didn't try to upsell us or steer us towards their most expensive products, but instead helped us find the best fit for what we wanted. We were very pleased with the price quoted to us and we booked the job. Josh came out two days later to do the installation and again was fantastic to work with. We went with the carriage house style garage door and he helped us figure out where to put the hardware on the outside to get the look that we wanted. The finished final product is exceptional quality and looks great. We paid the same price that was originally quoted to us. I wish I could give them higher than five stars. Without a doubt, this is the company to use. read more

My garage door spring broke on a Monday afternoon. I called someone else first, and they couldn't get to me until Friday. I called Kevin at GDG and he told me that Josh could come by first thing the next morning AND he quoted me a price that was $20 less than their competitor! Josh showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He replaced my springs in short order and pointed out that some of my rollers were no longer rolling and gave me a fair price to fix them. I asked him to replace those as well. He also adjusted the chain and lubricated everything, so my garage door is now working like new, for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Garage Door Geeks! Tom G. read more

Great service!! Provided a quote upfront for my garage door repair and the work was completed shortly after at what I felt was a great value. Didn't try to upsell on anything that was unnecessary but there were items that were pointed out that I would have never noticed and I was educated on what they were, how they worked, and why it was I important for the safety, functionality and longevity of my garage door. 10/10 experience! Would highly recommend calling this company before anyone else!! I was extremely impressed with them compared to others who had given me quotes. I will be passing your info along to friends and family in need of their services! Thanks guys! read more

I must say, I can't remember the last time I called any service after normal business hours and they picked up the call. Kristin was so nice, and she had Josh call me back within minutes and walk me through some trouble shooting measures. When we could not get the door opener to reset over the phone, Kevin, the owner, came at a convenient time to diagnose the problem and service the unit. He arrived ahead of our window of time, quickly and efficiently solved the problem and was finished within 15 minutes. A true professional! We whole-heartedly recommend Garage Door Geeks from price, and installation to their service years later. read more

Second great experience with GDGeeks! Several years ago, Josh repaired the door when two other companies said we needed a new door. When first calling a few days ago to request service, Kristen offered a possible solution I might try on my own. My wife commented how unusual for a company to possibly forego a service call. When first tech was on his way but was delayed with car trouble, the owner, Kevin, came instead. He was polite, professional and non-condescending when a simple fix corrected the problem. Can't say enough about our experience with this company. 10+rating! - Waterviews at the Reservoi, Midlothian, VA read more

This was my 2nd service call and I personally asked for Wayne. He's always punctual, professional, and clearly an expert in garage door repair and maintenance. During my most recent service, which was a broken spring, he explained each step of the repair process in a clear and concise manner, and even walked me through the warranty information. Based on the prompt and profession service, materials used and the 5 year warranty I believe the price paid was reasonable. Also, the ability to pay with Apple Pay was a convenient and modern touch. I highly recommend Wayne for any garage door needs! read more

Garage Door Geeks were great. I had an issue with a belt on an older garage door and contacted them on a Tuesday afternoon. After discussing options (the garage door opener was really old) the best route was to replace the equipment. Their prices were fair and honest. Fortunately for me, they had a job that had been rescheduled and were able to come to our house the following day. They showed up on time, did the work agreed upon in a very timely manner and left the work site immaculate. A+ for communications and service. read more

This company is great! Prompt, polite, professional and knowledgeable. Called Monday morning for service, Josh arrived early afternoon, diagnosed the problem (broken spring) and went through my options. For me a new garage door made more sense. Installed new door Tuesday morning and it turned out great! I went from old broken door to an installed new door in 24 hours - which is an amazing turnaround. Anyone needing garage door service will be beyond satisfied with Garage Door Geeks. read more

I highly recommend Garage Door Geeks. They come in a timely manner, are completely knowledgeable and professional, and charge a fair price. When my garage door broke, they gave me options to repair or replace and clearly stated pros and cons to make my decision easier. They have even given me advice over the phone to fix a garage door problem when they could easily have just made a house call and made some quick money. I will use them every time my garage door fails! read more

These guys were great! We had a spring that broke and I was able to call their number during off hours and was able to get someone to our house the next day. We ended up replacing the entire garage door as it was +30 years old. The garage door replacement was a breeze and didn't leave any mess! The springs on our garage door snapped. It was impossible to open the door. Called the geeks, jason was here about 3pm a few hours after the mishap. Jason was great, efficient, professional, and helpful answering my questions. He was done in about an hour. Opens nice and smooth, less noise, perfect. These guys were fantastic, I got lucky on the scheduling part as they had just had a cancellation for that same day I called; but once there they were professional and knew exactly what to do. I fully expected "just" the problem issue to be worked on but they came in and did a full servicing and did adjustments that made the opener work even better and more quiet! Best money I have spent this year! read more

Kevin was prompt, professional, and really helped us understand the different types of garage door options and pros and cons of each. We had previously gotten another estimate for the same door from another company, and the Garage Door Geeks not only provided a better price, but also offered exceptional, personal service. We love our new door -- it makes such a difference! Definitely recommend! read more
