Spent thousands of dollars on garage doors a year ago. One of the large doors literally fell off the other day. Called them to come and see if it was in warranty when it was a couple months past one year. They tried to tell me that I must have ripped the door off, it wasn't their fault they have 20 years in the industry. I told them well I've had 50 years and never had a door fall off and we certainly did not rip it off as we have only used that cabinet a couple times for Halloween supplies and had no problem when opened the door. He won't fix it and thus this review. The door must've been too heavy for the brackets (cheap installation)now I'm fearful that the other doors will fall off in time also. Immensely disappointed. We had new closets installed in our master bedroom which included new sliding doors. The closets are great. There was a delay in getting the first set of doors, but once they arrived they were quickly installed. The problem was they didn't check their work and we couldn't open the dresser draws because the doors blocked them from opening. Both pairs of doors had to be returned. Someone came back and remeasured for a second set of doors which led to a few more weeks' delay. When the finally did arrive, only one pair fit. Once again, we had to return a pair. Brock the owner came out and personally measured it himself followed by yet anther 3-week delay. Finally, the second pair was delivered now everything works properly. Brock said he would consider a refund for all the time and aggregation we had with the mistakes he made with getting this job done in a timely manner. I am still waiting. It took them From Feb 10-May 23 to finish the job. If Brock had simply made a gesture of a refund to back up all of his apologies we would have put this all to rest. Garage & Closet Kingdom Gabe is a dream closet that perfectly suited not only the existing space but our specific needs. Barry, called me and set up an appointment to review & measure our space. He listened to what we wanted & told us what would work. He really knows what he's doing and makes his suggestions based on extensive experience. We went to the office to look at sample colors and door pulls. We selected a color to compliment the master bath vanity since our closet is inside our bath area. The color came out to be a very close match. The closet was ready to install a couple of weeks after our selections were made. Barry showed up on installation day to advise us of the installation process. His team Francisco & Alfredo were awesome. Professional, neat, & very precise. I would use them again since they also reface kitchen and bath cabinets. My only negatives was I would love to see a variation of design in their showroom of more updated cabinet colors. My experience this time: Unprofessional Install and Product Issues. In the end, Broch agreed to help make right the "unfinished looking" install. Master Closet was left with an unfinished look with a set of upper cabinets and bare wall below. Barry did not visit site to view the install. I begged Broch to redo and I would pay for the redo on the unfinished section. I said I would pay for full unit to be installed instead of just shelving unit above and bare wall below. Installers came back and (as per Broch) they installed backing to cover the unfinished look and it looked more unfinished. So, I then had shelves and thin backing below shelves that was too short to go all the way to the floor. They added a piece at the base and you could see the two sections because of the cut. Again, I begged Broch to install a full top to bottom section and that I would pay for any additional cost. Installers came back and removed the shelving unit and installed a full unit. After the installers left, I noted on section across from newly installed section, that it was cracked at surface and it appeared to have cracked due to pressure of screw or bolt below the surface. I contacted Broch and he informed me that someone would be out to replace the cracked piece. A few days later I received a call from customer service requesting full payment. I reminded her that the unit had a cracked area. She then questioned if I had other contractors in who may have caused the crack OR did I possibly place a heavy item on the area that could have caused it to crack. I could not believe that I would be questioned as the source of the crack. At no time after my reporting the crack did a representative come out to my home to view the crack. I sent pictures and you could see the surface was curved up. I told Broch I was very upset to imply that I was the cause without physically viewing the cracked area. Installers came out to replace the cracked piece and confirmed that the area was lifted due to a screw or bolt below the surface. They replaced the piece by removing the whole section. They left marks at the back of the section where they used a tool to remove the section. I requested touch up for areas that were chipped. There is chipping on several shelves where it looks as if the cutting tool may have been dull and they top coating chipped away. Touch up paint does not exist for my gray cabinets, is what I was told. As the product is made elsewhere and they receive product and build the units. What? They don't have matching touch up paint? The top layer that is bound to the surface at the edges is wavy as well as the edges of the shelves chipped or cracked. read more

Came out and did the measurements and then a day to install. It is the extra features that really set them apart. Metal seals on the doors. Magnets and "lips" to insure the doors have a tight seal. Oh, and they were one third the price of Closet World! My garage is beautiful. read more

Horrid ownership! I have family that used this company during old ownership and we're completely satisfied but from my experience a new owner has turned this company into useless junk. Workers game into my house and ripped a priceless piece of art causing substantial damage to it. When I notified the owner he told me it was my fault and that nothing should have been on the walls. Yes, my fault because his workers ripped something off my walls and damaged it. After several hours of discussion, during which he was verbally abusive he told me to bring the work in and he'd see what he could do...that is right, he tried to tell me it was my fault without even seeing the damage. He sent it to a cheap repair shop (as if repairing collectors art is a solution), told me I owed him money since he got it repaired and set in with the intimidation and verbal abuse again. Long story short. Workers damaged art, workers and management tried to hide the damage, no responsibility was taken, verbal abuse and intimidation took place while trying to find a solution, no solution was ever come to and I'm out thousands of dollars. I will be following up with the BBB and the courts. read more

Very poor customer service. Berry came in like lighting. Recommend all the best money could buy. I had to stop and ask how much all that would cost. Waaaaaay out of my budget. When I told Berry my budget he said "there's nothing I can do in here for that price." Berry's demeanor changed after that and was out in a hurry. He called back with a 3000 quote for a bare closet which he didn't even explain the lay out. Company caters to people with money to blow, sorry I didn't fit the bill. Don't waste your time! Irrespective business What's worse than giving a client an appointment and never shows up or cancel! So I called this business to get a design & estimate for a built in library in my house, a guy called Barry showed up on the same day who claims to be the x-business owner and he shows me some ideas and I told him what I have in my mind & he left and he would call me when the design is ready. After 3 days when I didn't hear from him, I accidentally find the design on my front door with a message that he lost my phone no.! Anyhow, I made some changes to his design and tried to call him to discuss it, he wasn't available so I left him a message to call me back but he never did! I called again and got hold of him and of course he claimed that he never got my message!! Anyhow, we sched an appoint the following day to discuss the changes and to choose the color. And what happened is I waited for him and he never showed up or call to cancel!! I don't think they are that busy( I got my 1st appoint the same day!) but they are just a group of losers!!! read more
