We had a wildfire come through last summer and lost everything, I decided I would replace my dishes with the dinnerware from Mountain Arts. I purchased a set of the Charcoal Jet, and am very happy with the look and the quality! Their product is beautiful and I have had next to no trouble with chipping. Their customer service has been great...very responsive!

The gallery has a cool vibe & a very friendly staff that was available at all times for questions & general assistance. Then I decided to treat myself to what turned out to be a very yummy lunch of grilled chicken salad on a bed of mixed greens and avocado (for a small add on fee) and let me tell you it was absolutely delish and the warm cornbread that came with it was equally yummy (butter & jam already at table). I guess their specialities are all the baked goods - pies, cookies, bars and such. But you can also pickup a frozen lasagna or chicken enchiladas, and pot pies. Or, as I did, have a freshly made to order sandwich or salad. I would definitely recommend a stop in here at any time of day. I was there mid afternoon on a Wednesday and there was no problem getting immediate service & a table. Very friendly folks work here. Check it out!

I've been looking for a certain piece of jewelry for a friend for an upcoming birthday and just haven't seen anything that fits what I need. So, I decided to see if I can make my visualization come to life. That requires beads and string/wire and closings, and separators and all those other things you don't realize go into the pieces you take for granted. Well, I stopped here and did find what I needed, plus a lot more I didn't need for what I had in mind but picked up anyway. That's the problem with places like this. Garden of Beadin' has glass beads, Austrian crystal beads, wooden and plastic beads in shapes and sizes for everything. I mean everything. Best to come here when you have a definite idea and ignore the "oh, that would be good for xyz" in a ring, or necklace, or tie clip. It'll be a kid in a candy store experience. Have a budget in mind or you'll be wishing you hadn't stopped by.

I had to drive around for a few minutes, since my GPS kept taking me to Smith's grocery store. Garden of Beadin' is in the same shopping center on 19th Ave, it's just a few doors west of Smith's -- right next to Jimmy John's.

Journaling has literally and honestly changed my life. Have you ever encountered someone who was an absolute master at their craft, and their love and passion for their business (hobby, work, field) is 100% contagious? That is how I feel about the employees here at Paper and Grace. Their love of fine pens, stationary, art, and related accoutrements, is absolutely infectious. I challenge you to find a store that practices such an exceptional customer experience and service. Anywhere. There is no restaurant, store, service, or business with the same commitment to and practice of customer service. The two injustice collectors from SoCal who left negative reviews may not have been used to exquisite customer service or how to use a pen. I can't believe you sully these fine people for attention and to build drama where there is none. The professional staff at Paper and Grace will clean and service any fountain pens you purchase for free. They will diagnose any hard writing, adjust, and clean your pens with a smile and on the spot. Your purchase is neatly wrapped with customized and beautiful wrapping tissue, placed in a beautiful bag, and presented to you. It's hard to explain the process, so if you are inclined to experience it, find any of their luxury, yet appropriately-priced, premium goods and ephemera, and enjoy the experience yourselves.

While the building has small plants, terrarium set ups, some pots -- both ordinary and unusual and other miscellaneous things, it's the actual garden that's a treat. It started with the sign on the left warning visitors that the resident cats sit in the window and can't be let out because they terrorize things - probably the koi and ducks that make themselves at home near the small pond -- or perhaps they tangle with the peacocks. While it was later in the season and probably fewer plants than they might have in the spring, what Garden Barn did have was nice, appeared to be well cared for, and enough variety that you can stock your garden or landscape with different things. It isn't a cheap place, so be prepared to spend some money for a full landscape. With that said, there were some nice lower and mid-priced things left in one of the greenhouses. And, at a really reduced price because it's at the end of the season, some plants that looked all but dead, might still have some life in them with some TLC if you really want to manage your budget. What I noticed were the amazing large hanging baskets that reached nearly from the hanging bar at the ceiling down to the top of the tables. Absolutely beautiful.
