I only wish that I lived closer so that I could get into the shop in person. Just ok yarn store. Local yarns up front but the rest of the yarns you can find anywhere else. The prices seemed a but higher than normal and the woman working wasn't what is call friendly. There is a much much better yarn store right down the street and the owner is welcoming and friendly. read more

I'm lucky enough to travel and I get a chance to visit many yarn stores and that has taught me that the one right here in my own backyard is one of the best anywhere! Friendly and knowledgeable, the staff is up-to-date on current trends and favorites. They are helpful with color choices, and pattern choices and know their stuff, all around. They stock great yarns and have also helped me several times with special orders. They change their yarn stock often and never fail in having something wonderful on hand for my knitting. Their samples are lovely and inspirational, as is the staff. Their friendly, you-can-do-it attitude has helped me step out of my comfort zone and build new skills. And when I get stumped, they have helped me too many times to count. And prices are good, too! read more

Very cool to be greeted by the yarn-bombed stairwell at the shop entry! The staff was delightful and friendly, they carry unusual yarns and locally produced and beautiful hand dyed skeins OMG hard to decide which ones to take home! So I got lots! read more

I love to search out local yarn shops during my travels and buy local yarn when possible. This shop did not disappoint! Beautiful selection of locally dyed yarn and the shop owner was super helpful! I bought yarn from Western Sky Knits and cannot wait to start making my scarf (once I finish one or two other projects already in process!). The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to suggest possible patterns for the local yarns that I fell in love with! She even went so far as to print out the (free) patterns from Ravelry for me. Favorite stop when I'm road tripping. Friendly staff and great selection of yarn. Front of the shop has local yarns from Montana. I always end up with so much yarns in my hands, too many pretty choices. If you're looking for cute project bags, check out the nice group by the local yarns. read more

Is this great advertising or what?! We came down on Sunday for the car show and couldn't help but notice this clever handrail covering. Unfortunately the shop was closed on Sunday so......we came back during the week. What a friendly store, underground, and under rated! This shop has some of the most unique yarns and fibers.
