    Yesterday I received a custom order of beautiful dresses and skirts from Nigeria that I had been…read moreexcitedly waiting on since I ordered them on Black Friday in November! As I ripped open the box I mentally pictured me wearing each article of clothing and swished and swayed in front of my mirror. After trying on each item, I quickly placed it to the side to try on the next! My excitement turned into panic when I put on my dress and tugged on the zipper that wouldn't budge past my lower back [WTH (heck)?!?!]. I grabbed my tape measurement and confirmed my measurements were still the same. At 125lbs I knew I couldn't stand to lose 10 more to get into the dress so I decided to visit a local seamstress to have the sides of the dress let out. As is custom when looking for "Recommendations", I sent out a request on Facebook and within seconds I was told to visit "Quality Embroidery". I called and spoke with Irma who said that I could bring the dresses in immediately. Once there, I tried on both dresses and learned that I only needed a little help zipping one of the dresses up -- problem solved! On the second dress we were not so lucky as the dress was too small in the bust area. After some thought, Irma asked if she could measure the dresses and "lo and behold" we quickly determined the dress was actually made smaller than my original request! She looked at me with a "know all things Seamstress" look and said, "I think you deserve a refund". She held her measuring tape over the dresses for comparison and I took photos and sent them to the seamstress in Nigeria right in front of her! Today, I received a response on Etsy from the seamstress who eventually conceded that the dress was smaller than intended and she is remaking the dress for free! I agreed to pay the shipping of the new dress because she simply asked that I gift the dress to a loved one that was able to wear it! I am so glad that I visited Quality Embroidery and highly recommend their services to all! Until the next alterations emergency!

She fixed both quickly, the work was very well done, and the price was better than two other quotes i got. Any more sewing projects i have before i leave San Angelo will definitely go to Quality Embroidery!

    I do not recommend this company! asked for quotes on 100 invitation and decided to go with 50…read morebecause it should be cheaper. Nope! They completely ripped us off. $77 for 50 and $86 for 100. When I asked why she didn't disclosed this she said well he didn't asked he just said print 50. I told her I will not use her service again not that she cares and she responded I do but you have to understand from our side. I do but a good company would have been upfront and gave all info and cost. She did not disclose how much 50 would be until we went to paid because we didn't asked.

    When I went in Qs to get a stack of flyers cut, there was no one in the front desk, so after…read morewaiting and walking around for some time, I started walking to the back where the office is, I saw a woman sitting down and she looked at me but said nothing and continued working. Confused, I asked if she could help me, she finally asks me what I want (not in a warm manner at all) and I ask her if I can have the flyers cut, she then just points to the desk next to her, so that I leave the flyers there. I leave, and they never call me about them being ready. I call back the next day and they are indeed ready so I picked them up. So they get the job done, but I couldn't believe what an awkward interaction it had to be.. it's like she was going out of her way to NOT do customer service. I don't need customer service to go out of their way to treat me like a Princess, but at least communicate with me like a person who does a service and wants their business to succeed?
