My 9 year old son always enjoys going to GameTime. There are a lot of games for kids to enjoy. The food is mediocre bar food, nothing to write home about but the experience as a whole is great. My son visited Game Time yesterday with his Summer Camp friends, he brought his Nintendo Switch with him, he is six years old and he left his Nintendo Switch behind. I immediately called Game Time place and we were so lucky, management found it and put it on lost and found. My husband just picked up the Nintendo, we are talking of a $500 game console. We went on a field trip to game time and the service and food was subpar the kids really enjoyed the games . But when it came time to sit down there was only one server . We ordered pretty quickly as we already knew what we wanted . The food took about 45 min ( we ordered tenders and fries and salads nothing special )I ordered the southwestern salad and the dressing literally looked mayonnaise . Another teacher ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and her wrap was full of cheese and barely had any chicken . One of my students ordered tenders and fries and while we all got our food around the same time his took an extra 15 min to come out . We asked for more water and that took about 20 min to be served . We were actually there celebrating birthdays and a parent asked our server (Cassandra) if she could come and sing happy bday with a dessert and she straight up said she does not sing. Needless to say the service sucked and we will not be eating lunch at GameTime again . read more

Love going here with my kids and nephew and niece! They've gotten better with fixing broken games and management is better since switching to GameTime. Besides, I love having my drinks here so it works out for the kids and adults. Beside, I'm a big kid still and my kid loves that. read more

Came here for a fun 'little kid' type of day with my girlfriend and had a really good time :) we came around 4:30 and found happy hour at the bar ( yes we are those people that find happy hour everywhere ;) ) so we had some half off drinks and a couple half off bar apps nothing special but hey it's an arcade, who eats here? Bought 100 credits and went to go play some games , there weren't many kids or people in general which is good with us. I must say what I miss most about kids birthday parties and summer camps are the arcades! As soon as I walked into Gametime, I was transported to that awesome time in my life. From blinking lights to kids screaming with joy as they reach the jackpot, this arcade has everything you remember from your elementary school years. The only difference is this time you will be drinking a beer while playing skee ball instead of a coke! And instead of having lug around you tickets, they give you a handy dandy card that keeps your ticket balance and reloads each time you go there! GameTime is a great place to kill some time before a movie. You pop in, play some games, have a few drinks, time flies. There's a wall of like 9 tv's by the bar which was awesome during march madness. That was cool. I don't know if they have nFL sunday ticket, but if they do, that'd be really sweet. There's only a few chairs by that wall though, so it may be cramped. Even if that's the case, you can't get angry. There's draft beer and skee ball. You're definitely leaving with a smile. read more

Celebrated my sons 11th birthday and since the first day I received outstanding customer service from Vanessa. During the party we had a great time and all was taken care of accordingly. Went with my boyfriend and his friends to watch the McGregor-Diaz fight. Our waiter was very friendly and outgoing, joked with our group a lot... all beers were bogo free too! I ordered 12 piece of Chicken Wings with BBQ sauce and our waiter told us the sauce was house made and very good. He was right, the sauce was very good and the wings were so juicy! I didn't try any of the food but the arcade was fun! Lots of new machines. Service was slow though. Only one person was helping at the front desk and when you went to claim a prize; there was only one person on the job. It seemed that most kids were interested in the video games so ticketing games were not used as much. I love coin pushers and all they had was SpongeBob (w/ Cards). Machine looked barely used. Overall, you will most likely have a great time. It's not Dave & Buster's arcade quality, but it's a great compromise instead of having to drive to Dolphin Mall. read more

I went this weekend with a group of 10 people to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday. We waited 15 minutes for them to call us to tell us our table was ready - despite having reservations. The hostess then told us they were waiting on us to give us our table. After placing our orders, we waited one hour for our food to be ready. We had small children with us and their food was the last to come out! My 8 year old wanted to order lettuce and the server said that they couldn't alter the salads because they were pre-made. While we were waiting for our food I asked for them to at least bring out the "pre-made" salad so that my daughter could start eating and our waitress told me she couldn't because they were making the salad. After complaining to the manager, our food finally came out. The waitress offered to give the girls lanyards for their game cards. She made it seem like she was doing something to compensate the fact that the service was HORRIBLE thus far. To our surprise, we were charged for each lanyard and even for extra sauces. I have never been to a place where I've spent so much money and have been treated so horribly. The food was good but they definitely need some help in the customer service department. read more

I havent been here since it was called "Game Works" and when i did go back in the day, i loved the ballon shooting game. So some coworkers and i decided to go back lastnight and boyyyyy was it was different. I was extremely disappointed when i noticed they removed the ballon game and on top of that they no longer have the ticket system when you play games. Most of the competitive two player option on ANY game either didnt work ( big basketball, ddr...etc) we also went upstairs to their pool hall and you can use your card credits on the tables which i thought was pretty cool They have a bar up there too. So all in all to not have been here in years ill definitely be back very soon to check out their restaurant and more drinks. read more

Great place I often come here but the service Is bad. The bartender disappears and leaves all the guests unattended, there is generally no one to seat people or to even offer the food and drinks menu. We had to literally grab the menu from inside the bar. Still love this place but will surely like to see some improvements in their service area. read more

My best friend had their oldest's birthday party here. What a wonderful time we all had... I think the parents had more fun than the kids! Parking was easy, the mall is beautiful (although not as many stores opened as it may look) and the staff was very helpful. It's a big place and easy to lose sight of your kids. There isn't really any security in the front like you would find with Chuck E Cheese. There are a lot of arcades and all the games deduct tokens from a credit card like card where the kids can swipe and the parents refill. The food and drinks were out of this world and while not the cheapest, at least it was worth it! Very fun. Can't wait to go back! read more

This place was completely terrible and underwhelming, I walked in and 4 of the self serve machines to buy your game cards are broken, I go to use the one that seems like it would work and go all the way through to the payment process and I slide my debit card but nothing goes through and no cards dispense, the card reader just says "Welcome" on it with no sign that any transaction went through so naturally I walk over to one of the employees and ask to buy a game card from them and everything goes fine and I go to play my games, but later on I come home to find out that the broken machine did in fact charge me for a $20 game card that it never gave me and I called them and I was sent to voicemail the first time and when I finally reached someone their response was "If nothing happened the charge should just go away", please explain to me how it's just gonna "go away" if it's showing up on my banks transactions. The selection of games was barely up to par, everything is oddly placed and cramped, you can't even hear the music when playing Guitar Hero which is crucial to even play the game properly and you have to pay 2 extra credits to play the best songs in the game (Barracuda, etc.), which you don't have to pay anything at Dave and Busters btw to play those "Premium" songs, I thought I would have fun at an arcade but it was just completely disappointing and I will continue to go to Dave and Busters, this was a rip off. $20 gives you 80 game credits while all the machines are about 6 credits for one player, so if you want to play with someone else it's another 6 credits and that's not worth it and your burn through these fast bc a lot of those games give you about 10 minutes of play time before you have to swipe your game card again to "continue", there goes another 6 or 12 credits. Please re-evaluate your plans. read more

Had my child's birthday party here. I was totally mislead about how the play cards worked and was pushed into buying more than I needed to. When I spoke to management about it, they took over an hour to even speak with me (missing most of my child's party) and then said there was nothing they could do. Will never return. Horrible customer service. They have a bunch of kids working there that do not know what they are doing. Manager is horrible too. Saw me waiting to speak to him and must have walked past me at least 5 times. I do not recommend going here. read more

Wish I could give less than one star. Showed up today as was emailed a Memorial Day Coupon. Coupon states to scan in machine on arrival. Scanned on phone and card spat out. Tried to use in machines but said no funds. Waited in line for one customer service person who then said has to be printed. No one requires printing anymore. Obvious had the coupon and his comment was you can go home to print although it will likely show claimed so won't work anymore. Great customer service. This place used to be fun place to take my son but many broken machines and customer service that doesn't care. Would recommend driving a bit further and go to Dave and Busters. read more

This place is TERRIBLE! We did the dine & play combo and the food took 2 hours! Ordered drinks that came watered down and in plastic cups!! Waitress never came to give us refills never apologized for how long the food was taking and the table next to us sat down AFTER we placed the order and was done eating and we had just gotten our food. The food wasn't even cooked correctly she didn't bother to write the order down. Charged us for BBQ sauce. Asked for the manager and he took nothing off the check but gave us some game cards who wants to stay there after that experience? Not me! So my husband wanted to make the experience better we decide to play a water racing game the machine took our credit and we were greeted by two mangers asking us if we paid our bill since the waitress said we didn't and we had left CASH on the table. I was absolutely satisfied with my first-time experience at GameTime. Our entrées were fabulous and our server (Natassha) dedicated herself to perform an excellent job. I could only imagine how frustrated my female cousins and their children could have made her because I'm with them every day. Let's just say they're "pretty aggravating" since I'm keeping this review PG-13. Anyhow, I think Natassha done her best to remain humble and not allow her frustrations to show. DO NOT EAT THERE!! Worst restaurant experience I have ever witnessed. Water took 2.30 hours to arrive and half of the food was missing. The server accidentally poured the water on our daughters and they were soaking wet. Our server left in the middle of the order and never came back. Manager was useless. Visiting from out of town, in Miami with the kids overnight. We found this place online and figured we'd give it a shot. We expected it to be like many other rip-off arcades, but were pleasantly surprised. We ordered dinner and each got the dinner/play combo so we all got game cards with 60 credits. Facility is clean, friendly staff, and there is convenient parking. Would definitely recommend for a night of family fun. read more

So if I could choose no stars i would. Came here and let's just say I will never eat here again. They got our orders wrong several times. Ordered chicken quesadilla and received shrimp... gave it another try... came spicy... another try... the wait was just horrible. Ordered burger with no onions... got onions. Ordered curly fries... received other fries. Chicken wings were undercooked.... they had to bring another batch out. Philly cheesesteak was extremely dry. I mean.... not to mention the time it took. It was not crazy busy, it got busy before we left. Every time they got the order wrong it was literally like a half hour more wait for each food. The waiter was just like disoriented or something, the chef must've been half asleep. The only one with common sense was the manager and even then I still think we paid a lot for their mess ups and how long they took and they just sugar coated it with a lame 30 minutes play card. I hate to leave bad reviews and I'm not one to not tip, I tip good. However, I did not tip. As horrible as I felt not doing so I think nothing deserved to be even paid for. Learned my lesson to eat elsewhere before going to play there if we ever come back. So we also went to go play games and half machines in there were out of order. The kids had some fun but the overall experience was... well... Put it this way, my time is valuable so if I'm writing this long review on how bad of a service it was... then this was really bad! No matter how busy they claimed it to be, our orders should've been paid more attention to. Also, waiter never came to ask if all was okay, no refill nothing! This place needs to close. By far the absolute WORST dining experience of my life was at Game Time last night. First off, we told them the size of our party (13), and they still managed to be short a few chairs. We asked for booster seats for our kids, and someone in our party had to stand up and ask for them himself because it was over 20 minutes and nothing. No, they had not run out, they were just that lazy. TWO menus were provided until about 45 minutes into us being there. The server claimed they had a full house. The restaurant could have fit another 20-30 people, so that was a lie. Over 50% of the party had no idea what to order, of course, because no menus were available. Also about 45 minutes into this garbage experience, one of the members of our party had to take the silverware from other tables because the wait staff couldn't do something as basic as put silverware down for us. Trying to remain patient, as this was a birthday dinner, we ordered 4 appetizers. Fast forward another half hour and we get two of the four orders. Two. To make matters worse, the server spilled greasy food on my friend's dad's shirt, and then he had the audacity to bad mouth him as he left to the kitchen. He had a smug, jerk demeanor and was anything but apologetic. We finally get our food orders in, when we come across the last straw. The chicken tenders were RAW. The pizza was undercooked. These are things we were supposed to feed our kids and these careless, inept poor excuses for servers were perfectly ok with giving them raw food. At this point, we no longer want to eat here because it's obvious that this place shouldn't even be open to the public. The manager takes upwards of 20 minutes to arrive, and basically gave us a little stack of game cards and said "well I'll take your appetizer off the tab". We made it abundantly clear we did NOT want any of the food, and instead of apologizing or looking the least bit concerned, his reply was "well do what you gotta do, you know?" Later we find out that we were not the only walkouts, that over half the staff had already quit, and the few they had left had mostly given their two weeks notice, so of course they don't care if they give innocent people food poisoning, as they have no integrity. I highly recommend for OSHA to inspect this place because it was absolutely disgusting. I will never come here again. You can't pay me to deal with that horrible staff and uncooked food. The quality has been going down for years, but THIS was the tipping point. It's time for Game Time to close or get brand new management who knows how to run a restaurant properly. I give it one star because I'm not allowed to give it zero apparently. But if I could give them a negative score, I would. read more

The worst. Bad service, saw a bartender leave the bathroom without washing his hands & they denied my 21 year old ID calling it a fake. Spoke to the manager and he said they don't have ID scanners and was super rude. You'd think a place that gets under aged drinkers often would invest in an ID scanner so they can make sure. Just held a birthday party (group of 11) for my sister here this past weekend and I was extremely disappointed with Game Time. Firstly, we dined in the restaurant. I had no expectations of high quality food but the food was below average. I had a French Dip which was very fatty and poor meat quality. The best meal at the table were the chicken fingers. Honestly, we didn't come for the food so I guess it's not that big of a deal but the service was unbearably slow. The poor kid serving us was so overwhelmed--it took over 20 minutes to get the birthday girl her first drink and the drink was very poorly served (she asked for a Jack and Coke and they served it with Jamison without saying anything). I could go on for a while about the service but I think I can just encapsulate it by saying our meal took over two hours because of the delays in bringing food and drinks. Once we turned to play games--the main attraction--I could not believe how many of the games were malfunctioning. We started with skeeball which proceeded to take about 20 of our credits before we realized it was broken. Of course there is no way to recover lost credits. Nearly every game I played on had some kind of malfunction (buttons not working; out of order; one of the two player joysticks not working, etc). Truly this place is a major disappointment.
