I haven't been to Sunset Place in years but decided to go to have some fun at GameTime. The establishment has two floors of fun interactive games, which were fun to play. To eat, we had the supreme pizza and it was surprisingly delicious. The vegetables on top were fresh and the crust was crispy. The service was okay. The only thing to note is that I asked for my parking ticket to be validated at the bar, and I don't think it was done properly as I still had to pay for parking. Sunset Place is not what it used to be but I think GameTime is one of the establishment that is keeping Sunset Place alive.

Ariel was so nice honestly the only employee I saw here speaking with customers, enjoying her time and making other enjoy their time. She really was the cherry on top of the icecream I pray that she is here the next time we come to have some fun, I'm glad this place didn't shut down. Ariel's energy is contagious and she is without a doubt your star employee at an already fun place thank you.

This is a really great place to come for a date or to hang out with friends. We came here on a weekend and it was relatively empty. Granted it was about 10 PM. They do close late, which is great though. they have unlimited play for an entire hour for really cheap about 25 bucks per person. This is honestly a pretty unbeatable price and it's really great especially when it's empty and there's not a lot of people. I would absolutely come back here and hang out here again and try the restaurant

We went here on a whim with a Groupon to hang out with a friend and had a blast! Your money goes really far here to play a bunch of games and it's pretty easy to rack up enough for some cool prizes! There is a big selection of games both old and new that can keep even a bunch of adults entertained for hours. The food is decent and the drinks are pretty good! Our waiter seemed like they were a little new and couldn't answer many questions about the menu, but we didn't mind too much. This place is a great way to spend a night and a nice way to stroll down memory lane in Sunset Place.

Game time is a go to place for us to combine with a movie outing. When we go to catch a movie at sunset place the trip is not complete without playing some games here. It's great fun for the whole family as they have lots of hands on games like basketball, skee ball, classic arcade games and the more modern ones. If you want to play 1 hour is $25 with unlimited play , or $40 or 2 hours. There's also a 1 hour + select food items for $31. We've probably been here over half a dozen times. It's a tradition at this point!

Perfect rainy day activity. We're under a tropical system now in Miami and felt it would be a great time to catch a movie and play some games. Even though Sunset Place has seen better days since the pre-pandemic times, GameTime and AMC are alive and kicking. There's two floors with fun games for kids and adults. They have a restaurant and I actually found healthy options with a quinoa, brown rice and amaranth bowl. I also found less healthy but delicious options with their strong IPAs. They are at a great price and are served ice cold! There's nothing like having a few pints and playing some games. Always a fun time for us here. Cheers!

Great place to keep your kids busy and entertained. From retro arcade games to virtual simulations, Gametime has tons of options that your kids will enjoy. On our visit we did not get to try their food but I know they offer the typical burgers, wings and pizza menu. There is a bar and plenty of table seating to enjoy your food and drinks. The also have pool tables on the 2nd floor if that's your jam along with private rooms for birthday parties. Overall it's a good option when looking for something to do with the kids.

So much fun! Game Time has a huge selection of all types of games for all ages at very reasonable prices. They also have a restaurant with very reasonable prices (less than $10 for a smash burger??) and have a happy hour until 8. The cocktails are a bit on the sweeter side and maybe not top notch but for $5-6 on happy hour, who can complain! The staff is all super helpful for any game issues and you can spend lots of time in here having fun indoors when the weather might not be at its best. Also, it's very possible to come away with a great prize!

Saturday, July 15th, 2023 afternoon Nephews 9th Birthday, a family affair of 4.5 people Parking on street or garage for a fee (no parking validation that we are aware of for garage). Two gaming card options (one with points and one with out) that you get via kiosk. We got ours with points, the $100 for 475 credits option and all 4 of were able to share the card and game together All games were enjoyable on both floors First floor was cool and the second floor was a bit hot Decided to eat there, had chicken tenders with fries, cheeseburger with curly fries, Philly cheesesteak burger with curly fries and a veggie quesadilla with one coke $61.00 w/o tip (3 adults and 1 child) Everything was lovely A bit chaotic at the prizes station for electronic tickets booth, they asked us to check our points and select prizes at the kiosk but after all that it didn't work, she was able to pull up what we spent and on what and gave it to us

I went here because it was one of the options to watch the UFC Conor vs Cowboy fight. The place was pack even that the location is pretty big all the table was taken, luckily after 30 minutes I, my sister and brother in law was able to find a table. We share a few appetizers The Fried Calamari good and delicious calamari that is dusted in flour and served with a tasty marinara sauce. The calamari was very tasty and crunch. The Party Appetizer for 28.99 you can get a family-style offering of our most popular appetizers: With Chicken Tenders, Fried Mozzarella Sticks, Tex Mex Rolls, and Buffalo Chicken Wings. Served with honey mustard, salsa ranch, marinara sauce and blue cheese dressing for dipping. The staff was on point always checking on the table making sure that we had everything we need. I can recommend coming here for a big sports event but my recommendation is to come early to grab a nice table with a good view.

I wasn't in the mood for a big crowd and noise. This place has a lot of big screen tv's and had a great football game on the screens, which kept me and my husband entertained. The waitress was really nice and friendly. She gave great service. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my guy ordered the scallops. Neither of us were very wowed with the food. He said some of the scallops didn't taste as fresh as he'd have liked and they came alone without any side and sautéed mushrooms- which he doesn't eat- and my grilled chicken was a little tough/chewy. It was also a small cutlet. On the bright side, we both agreed that the sweet potato fries were delicious! Prices were reasonable for the dishes we got, but some other menu items seemed on the higher side. I hope they taste better and are better than what we got for the price they are asking, as our food was mid. Overall, I would drop in again if the occasion called for it, but this wouldn't be a place I'd made an effort to return to. I'm giving 4 stars cause the ambiance and vibe was cool, liked the waitress and staff, and it was a bit of an upgrade on typical bar food.

Sunset Tavern is one of those few places where it is just as good to go in the morning for a Bloody Mary and enjoying the scenery of South Miami, as it is to go at night, drink a beer and watch a live band perform. The ambiance is casual, the service is up to the challenge, and the price is reasonable. As the matter of, I went to Sunset Tavern last night. The name of the band playing was Electric Mayhem and they were absolutely outstanding. The energy and the chemistry between the band members, the song selection, and the talent of the musicians was off the chat. I have never been so mesmerized by a local band before, and I plan to go back and see them again. They perform in Sunset Tavern the first Saturday of every month. We were sat immediately and they had a printed sign with our name on it on our table. That was a nice touch. The service was VERY slow! We waited at least 10 minutes before the waiter (Danny/Daniel) ever came over to offer us water. Another 20 minutes later and we still hadn't ordered our food. My friend's iced tea still hadn't arrived. I had to go to the hostess stand and tell them that we'd been there for half an hour and hadn't even ordered yet. We never even saw our waiter during that time. Eventually a manager came over and took our order. I ordered the Hamachi Crudo as my appetizer and the salmon as my entree, and the blueberry lemon cheesecake for my dessert. My friend ordered the same thing, except the cookie as her dessert. My other friend ordered the Cesar salad as her appetizer and the Beauty chicken sando as her entree. The Hamachi was absolutely delicious (but incredibly small). The Cesar salad was HUGE! It was almost 2:30 by the time we got our entrees (1.5 hours after arriving). Our salmons were barely warm, meaning that they had been ready for a while, but they had been left sitting in the kitchen. We had arrived pretty hungry, and since our appetizer was only 3-4 bites, and it'd already been an hour and a half, we weren't about to send our food back to be heated up. The salmon, although not hot, was good. I liked the sauce it came in. It was a little over cooked on the outside. But, overall and well made, tasty dish. My friend liked her chicken sandwich. It came with about 2-4 big "fries". Upon using the ladies room, I discovered that the hand dryer was not working. It was 3pm (2 hours later) when we received our desserts. We had to add more time to the parking meter. The waiter informed us that he couldn't offer us any coffee as the machine was being serviced. The restaurant looks nice. The chairs are comfortable. It's nicely decorated. The music was great- mostly 80's music. All in all, we were pretty disappointed in our experience. As a Michelin Guide restaurant, we expected more. Better/faster service, for sure! A working coffee machine. Hot food. I'm glad I came for Miami Spice. I probably won't be returning. If I do return I'll ask for a different waiter.

It was incredibly fresh, perfectly fried, and full of flavor. Tuna Tacos: These were the star of the show--absolutely amazing! Conch Fritters: Delicious and seasoned just right. Baby Back Ribs: These were just okay; good, but they didn't quite hit the heights of the seafood. Drinks & Atmosphere The cocktails were fantastic and well-crafted. Beyond the food, the vibe is what really makes this place special. It's a very "pretty" location with great waterfront views, making it a perfect backdrop for a meal. It is also very family-friendly, so it's a great choice for bringing the whole crew along. Great seafood, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! My friend and I waited near the hostess stand for a bit and felt overlooked as everyone was understandably focused on the situation. A simple "hello, welcome, we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I know things happen behind the scenes, but guest communication is so important. After a short wait, the manager stepped in, apologized, and got us seated, which I really appreciated. From that point on, the service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and helpful, and I especially want to shout out the food runner, who was personable and made a great impression. One thing that could have been handled better: our server took our drink order but never mentioned happy hour. When we later asked for the menu, we were told it was only available at the bar. Since I use a wheelchair for mobility, getting onto a bar stool would have been difficult, so I felt that a more accessible accommodation should have been offered. You'll see in my video I was the 4 top right next to the bar. That said, the food was good, and I still had a nice time with my friend. With just a little more attention to communication and accessibility, this could have been an even better experience.
