I haven't been to Sunset Place in years but decided to go to have some fun at GameTime. The establishment has two floors of fun interactive games, which were fun to play. To eat, we had the supreme pizza and it was surprisingly delicious. The vegetables on top were fresh and the crust was crispy. The service was okay. The only thing to note is that I asked for my parking ticket to be validated at the bar, and I don't think it was done properly as I still had to pay for parking. It's great fun for the whole family as they have lots of hands on games like basketball, skee ball, classic arcade games and the more modern ones. If you want to play 1 hour is $25 with unlimited play , or $40 or 2 hours. There's also a 1 hour + select food items for $31. We've probably been here over half a dozen times. Perfect rainy day activity. We're under a tropical system now in Miami and felt it would be a great time to catch a movie and play some games. Even though Sunset Place has seen better days since the pre-pandemic times, GameTime and AMC are alive and kicking. There's two floors with fun games for kids and adults. They have a restaurant and I actually found healthy options with a quinoa, brown rice and amaranth bowl. I also found less healthy but delicious options with their strong IPAs. They also have a restaurant with very reasonable prices (less than $10 for a smash burger??) and have a happy hour until 8. The cocktails are a bit on the sweeter side and maybe not top notch but for $5-6 on happy hour, who can complain! The staff is all super helpful for any game issues and you can spend lots of time in here having fun indoors when the weather might not be at its best. Beyond Amazing Service!..... After an extremely tiresome afternoon I ventured off to entertain my son and within Sunset Place I came across Gametime. Talk about an overall great experience. First experienced was with hostess Alvani greeting me and making me feel extremely comfortable and sitting us in a great spot. We had multiple problems with the One-hour game card, it kept saying "In Use" even though it was not being used. This happened too often, making us lose time. So versatile and so much to do. I've been to GameTime a few times and I went with my family recently. We ate at their restaurant, the food was amazing. We ordered the rib entree, the loaded fries, a 16 inch pizza, kids Mac and cheese and the Philly cheesesteak. My husband and I each had 2 drinks (margaritas). I recommend everything we ordered, the food truly was amazing. The service was great and the server was attentive and checked on us a few times and asked if we wanted refills without us having to ask for them. GameTime has a combination of young adults and children and honestly there's so much to do with the games and activities that time flies and you have so much fun! My kids particularly loved a seated game that was like a roller coaster. We will be back, this place is for families, couples and friends. I will definitely take a lot of pictures next time. After hanging out with the kids on Sunday, taking pictures, enjoying the bay in Key Biscayne, we were hungry and wanted to feed our bellies. We did a quick Yelp search and found this place. With the combination of food and fun we couldn't go wrong. First thing on our agenda was to eat and then give the kids what they wanted which was to play. The place was loud, with bells and whistles going off every 5 seconds. Difinitely a kids paradise. The waiters and waitresses were amazing! They did so well explaining our options to eat and play in order to get the most for our money with a family our size. We ordered pizza, three to be exact. Each pizza came with 3 toppings, and we ordered fries - two regular, two curly, and two sweet potato. That was enough food to feed us all. Because we bought three pizza's we were able to get three game cards with 60 credits on each. We had a blast going through the arcade playing games and racking up points. While eating we wished we all bought sweaters because the vents were blowing directly on us. It just made us eat faster so we could go play. Again, the service was superb! Everyone was so attentive and overly helpful in a good way. After playing our hearts out we took our cards to the prize counter and everyone got to choose something. I think my favorite game was the four player ice-hockey. It was madness, lol. I've never seen one like they have. You've gotta try it. They have party rooms for birthday celebrations, and a bar for the grown-ups, and many of the games are grown-up friendly. They also have pool tables upstairs. My husband and I can't wait to go back, without the kids. The whole night cost us $70. I had already spent a fortune in the cinema on the tickets and popcorn etc, so we did not use any of the machines. I came to Game Time the other night with a small group to celebrate a friend's birthday. Located on the 3rd floor of Sunset Place - and with one of the signs still bearing the previous incarnations name - Game Time provided a cool version for an active, fun filled birthday party. There's a dining area off the main entrance where you get to enjoy standard to decent bar food and start the evening off with your crew. I munched on a quesadilla which was "not bad". I had a generous serving of sour cream, ok amount of pico de gallo and decent portiona of chicken. The hot sauce on the side was a major plus to get the quesadilla to my desired heat level. My cool glass of house chardonnay provided a nice contrast as did a glass of red from a bottle we got for our table. A friend's burger looked really large, and I might try that next time I'm here instead. An extra kudo to the kitchen staff for alowing us to BYOC..Bring Our Own Cake...a 5 star tiramisu made by the birthday boy's significant other. On to the games: Yes, the graphics are a little bit dated. It's not Android level AMOLED. But where else can you pretend to be an NFL quarterback, a cop, a street racer (especially after two wine glasses) or have a friend take one of your skeeBalls? Almost all of the games our group played were in working order and were generous with the prize tickets, with which the birthday boy got to enjoy a "shockingly" fun gift. Took about 15-20 mins for them to acknowledge us and bring out water. 4 of the kids ordered chicken tenders and the other child ordered a hamburger. 2 adults 3 adults didnt order food. Just to give you an idea. I ordered the Monterey chicken, one person order a caesar salad(no chicken) and2 people ordered pasta. The food took a long time to come out. One of the pasta dishes came out and had hair in it. The manager on duty decided to rectify this by giving us a game card which we would have never gotten if we didnt ask. It took a full 2 hours from start to finish in order to eat. The kids were super restless and we were basically waiting on the check a while. Drinks: I ordered the Strawberry Smash. They were generous with the liquor. One drink was enough to give me a nice buzz. My friends said the same about their drinks Game room: Awesome. Plenty of things for kids to play. Not many games were out of service. There werent extreme wait times for games so it was nice. I had expected it to be more crowded on a Saturday. Coupons: per them, they dont take coupons on the weekend. The coupon came from their company and does not state this. They also didnt opt to show us the policy, just said no. I would like it if the coupon specifically said no weekends. It only said no holidays and I have no idea which holiday might be celebrated on Feb 10.... but ok.. Ervin our server was wonderful and did the best he could. Was attentive but it seemed he was dealing with issues he couldnt control and was doing his best. Im sure the food delays werent his fault. It is one thing for the great resignation to have taken hold and the best workers are nowhere to be found. It is another when your bartender (the one with downstairs with Middle Eastern features) completely ignores you, takes his time, and tends to everyone who arrived after you. Maybe it's because of homophobia (we were two guys in a couple spending family time with our child, nothing scandalous or salacious going on)? Maybe he doesn't like black people (One of us is). Either way it goes, it was a cocktail for hurt and disappointment served at an incredibly slow bar. Our child had a great time which was the most important thing, but serving everyone and all families equally matters. Maybe a cocktail of equity and inclusion instead of discrimination will be on the menu next time. We can only hope! read more

What an incredible experience! james and Lucy were the best employees I have ever experienced in the 10+ years I had been going there. Given it my friend's birthday was coming up, they were nice enough to sign the box of the prize we won. They were super friendly and always willing to crack a joke with us at the prize booth.
