Typical GameStop location. Stock was pretty much what you'd expect, with the more popular systems given more wall space than others. Between new and not as new, the selection for games generally is better than other retailers (Best Buy, Target, etc) who have a more limited game library. The prices range, but sometimes you can find something for a decent price - other times a competitor (online or not) will have something cheaper than what's offered here. They do have decent promotions, especially if you're a member. Those buy 2 get 1 free for used games is good if you get a lot of games - but remember the cheapest one is the one you're getting free. If you're one of those people (like me) who don't want scratches on their game discs, you can always choose to see the disc before purchase. I've never had any issues with GameStop in general as far as used discs go. You can also sell your used games here, but be warned you're not getting a respectable amount back at all. They do have other things aside from games - some collectables and whatnot. Definitely nice to browse at the very least. The staff here were generally friendly. The employee on the floor was very courteous and friendly. The one cashier I had was slow, generic, and didn't seem to care about the long line. I mention the line because it was long and time consuming. While I do understand there are certain procedures to be done at the register and some customers do ask a lifetime of questions obliviously - there should be something done to minimize customer line waits. Perhaps one register can be done for simply quick ringing out and the other for all other matters. Just a suggestion. GameStop here shares the location with other businesses. There is plenty of parking and in this lot, I've never had any issues with finding a space - even during a busy time. All in all, GameStop is what it is. It's so difficult to write a review on a game store when I enjoy the concept however GamesStop should not be in business. Their business practices are awful and their employees are rude and unprofessional. Every location I've been to it seems they just sit around and talk about topics inappropriate for a work establishment. Their customer service online does nothing to help you and makes excuses about everything. The prices are ridiculous compared to other stores. You can purchase brand new and digital copies elsewhere for the price of their pre-owned games. It's so nice to have a game store like this and it's sad they do what they do. read more

Ordered online for pickup, they canceled my order 3 hours later. Called the store, no response. Go into the store and get belittled by a retail employee. As i leave the store same employee brags about having 200 missed calls. If you can't do your job, just don't show up. Simple as that. It's a typical game stop is the only way I can really describe it, the crew is helpful albeit I felt bad for them because I don't really know that much about video games so I maybe made them run through a few hoops to find what I was looking for. Besides the crew tho when I came in looking at stuff the stock or they're collection compared to some other gamestops wasn't that great. read more

I went in to this GameStop January 1, 2014 still riding high on the fact that I had received a PS3 for Christmas. No, not an overpriced PS4 because I like my consoles like I like my used video games: still playable, but with a reasonable price. Since I haven't had a PlayStation since the 2nd one, I asked the advice of a female employee (her name I didn't get) what games were popular that were solely created for the PlayStation. I decided Uncharted would be a great place to start. When I got to the register, her and another employee named Thomas (who rung me up) convinced me to get all 3 of the Uncharted games. They were only $6.50-8.99 a piece so it seemed like a great deal. They clearly seemed to have a good grasp on the playability of these games, as well as the fact that I would want all 3 games since they build off one another story-wise. Now that I have finished the first two games, I am very thankful that they were able to give met he insight into these games and recommend buying them all at one time. I love the story line and would have been completely bored if I didn't know about the relationship between Drake and Elena that they told me about. I've had many other very helpful experiences at this particular GameStop and will definitely be giving them my business in the future. read more

In and out of the store they go - video games on sale, for monthly promotions, or simply just for the brain consuming satisfaction that they exude when placed in a console ... in which, this place also happens to sell new or used. Prices range from five dollars to the high end one hundred dollars, but the price tags are straight forward and are based upon what exactly you are buying. An indie game developed by a non existent third party developer? three dollars. A hot game that just came out and is projected to sell like hotcakes? 60 clams. A collector's edition? Up to 120 greenbacks out of your pocket. Sometimes this place has a selection of goodies (like bags, statues, and infrared goggles) for sale, probably taken out of those collector's edition boxes. That selection is pretty limited in comparison to the hundreds of gamers that flock here every week. The staff can be helpful, as long as you speak geekly and know what you're looking for. read more

While I love nothing more than to curl up with an epic game and play for hours, days, weeks on end....the cheap bastard in me REFUSES to pay full price for new games. Oh, the brand new latest game in that series I am obsessively in love with just came out for 59.99? Great! Can't wait to play that in 2 years when its 19.99!! Enter GameStop... It's pretty simple, you trade in your old games for credit towards new (used) games. Of course, I've traded in 6 games for a whooping total of just under 5 bones for credit, but that $5 more than I'd have letting it sit around collecting dust. They have games for all systems here, old and new, as well as hardware, accessories, mags, network cards etc. They do have new merchandise too, if that's your thing. I'm all about the used stuff. The staff here are pretty cool. They will totally engage you in geeky conversation about your game choices while they competently ring you up. I was in here recently the day Gears of War 3 was released, and what a HOT MESS. But they handled it fast and with a smile. On the down side, its always as hot as an oven in here. And, it smells like a mens locker room, don't ask me why. read more

I don't expect impeccable concierge service from a GameStop, but I do expect not to have to wait over 25 minutes while the employees look the lost keys for the case containing a game *that was supposed to have been pulled for me hours before* - or, to have them spend 20 minutes looking for and then failing to find a copy of a a game they just said they had in stock. And yet these are the 2 experiences I've had at this GS location in the last month. Don't fricken bother. read more
