The owner was very upset someone would want to return something. He kept saying they did not do that (which was confusing because I had already exchanged a book once, a Superman collection) and that only Amazon did that and added that it was "the stupidest thing I have heard". I told him as politely as possible to not call me stupid, and will go back tomorrow to either get my money back. Either way, it's a good store for game playing, but not comics. No one ever knows about the comics I ask for. It's terrible owner is impolite and I wonder if it was because I am latin american?

More than a video store! Pinball machines, and huge selection of movies and games, and early…read morerelease dates. The owner Pat is super personable and helpful. They have a bunch of different candy choices as well as fresh popped popcorn. Support a local business instead of those junky machines, you will be very happy you did. The owner is a pretty nice guy, offers cash / credit for trades that are decently reasonable. He doesn't seem to clean or test any of the inventory, but had a scenario where a game was defective and he let me swap it for something else. One thing of note is it's only open on weekends for a handful of hours, so just plan ahead if you want to check it out. Also make sure you have cash, as they don't accept card payments. Some decent prices on most games are generally around PriceCharting (owner always doublechecks on that if he didn't mark it up yet, but will give better prices than what's on there so that's great). Worth checking out if you're in the area!

While the store is tiny and a bit cramped, the owner seems to really pack in a ton of merchandise. Lots of used DVDs for $1, CDs, nicknacks and a tidy little corner of games. Game-wise, for the most part, you'll find plenty of the typical games circulating the retro market (lots of sports and children's titles) but we did manage to find a couple gems for a very reasonable and affordable price. (Especially after checking their market prices online shortly after.) The owner was super sweet and helpful even asking what type of games we were looking for. Since she rotates her inventory often I feel like if we were frequent customers in the area, we'd score some really great finds.

THE place to rent videos on Shelter Island, ( of course, it's the only place ) JoJo always has a…read moresmile ready. While it can be a bit difficult to peruse the titles there, she makes up for it in a vast array of non mainstream titles. While offering the myriad of Hollywood blockbusters she also houses a fun collection of international movies, television and old time classics. Unfortunately, she doesn't offer any video game rentals, but does have a fun selection of odds and ends for sale, such as a large selection of incense and pet foods. Dont be suprised to be greeted by a talking bird or a spider monkey perched on the counter!
