I like Gamestop. They tend to have most any game I look for for the PS3. Adequate inventory is also in stock for the X-Box, Wii, and PC's. It's a chain, so I kind of expect all the stores to basically be clones. This one though is slightly different in a couple ways: 1) The staff seemed more... I don't know... is the word I'm looking for 'mature'? Being in my 30's, I just felt a little more at home in this one than elsewhere. 2) The store seems to be much quieter than any other Gamestop that I've been to. Avoid this location like the plague I drove over 50 minutes to pick up a game that's over 15 years old and got nothing but grief about checking my ID. I'm 40 years old and have grey hair. They offer a program for rewards that offers discounts on games and also since they purchase games from you, you get a larger store credit by being a member . read more

Every time I go in to this GameStop they are always very helpful and very nice and always remember who I am. They're always willing and happy to answer any questions I have and to even make suggestions to benefit me, that usually saves me money & gets me more Bang for my buck. I always walk out with more than I intended to buy & usually end up spending less money than I intended to! It's wonderful! My son recently got a nintendo switch, so I decided to take him to this Gamestop to see if they had reasonably priced used games. We were greeted by a friendly employee who asked what we were looking for, but then he proceeded to give us a canned speech that lasted a minute or two. Apparently my son and I walked into a used car dealership because we have obvious signs of disinterest but the speech kept going. It is clear the employees are being pushed hard to meet sales goals, but treating customers like this will drive them away. Treat your customers like guests, don't put them on the defensive for high pressure sales tactics - the guest method has been standard retail culture since the year 2000? I decided to browse the games anyway and found the used selection to be exceptionally expensive. A two year old (3ds) used game was only two dollars off. Are you kidding me? I'd rather buy it new, in which case the store would have a very small if no margin compared to the used game. Are they intentionally trying to make less money? Sifting through xbox 1, nintendo 3ds and switch games it was clear that the popular used games might only warrant a 10% discount - not worth my drive. While we were in the store for only a few minutes an announcement came on over the intercom twice. It basically announced that the store was being monitored for theft and my protection. Are you kidding me? Is this the airport? Most retail stores have cameras to monitor, but they don't announced it. Way to make me feel like the store and employees are suspicious I am a thief. The final straw was when my son told me "he had to go potty". I asked one of the clerks if they had a restroom. "No sir, we do not." I thought to myself, "well how do you guys go to the restroom". Oh well, they already think I am a sales metric, and a thief - why would they think I am human? I'll never be coming back to this gamestop again. Went in to buy Spider-Man PS4 today. I was trying to buy the game with two different credit cards, as my friend and I were splitting the cost of the game. Clerk said I couldn't buy the game, and needed my friend here to purchase the game? This makes no sense. If I kept my mouth shut he would have just let me purchase the game with two different cards no problem. Then I said no problem I'll purchase it on my card, then continues to give me a hard time for not having my ID (which was in my car) on me to use my card. Really an ID? To purchase a $60 game? If this is the Gamestop near by Park mall. There are so many location of them in town. I really like Gamestop because I can save a lot of money buying game for my boyfriend and his son. New release game usually because used within a week of release. Yeah, people now a day can flip the game that fast. Which is good for me because if my boyfriend does not like it, I can always bring it back and trade for another one. I also like the one on Grant near Bed Bath and Beyond and Wetmore next to Walmart. The staff here was really friendly to me, my wife and my stepdaughter. We bought several games including Battlefield 3 and Family Feud, which isn't a game that gaming nerds can usually avoid making fun, but the girl at the counter was excited to see we bought it. She also heard me mention GTA V and voluntarily provided me with tons of info on it and this was before the gameplay trailer was released.
